Always love this place. Food is great and desserts are excellent. Though, the Carson branch gives more than the amount on the desserts and the fries is better too. We didn't get a chance to take picture of the Cajun fries, it's an additional order. Not fond of the taste in this location; it's like air fried. Just tastes different from the other location. But overall, our experience was great. Staffs were excellent. Located next to Trader Joe's and across Five and Below. Ample parking. Limited dining space, but couple of single tables available inside and outside too. Place is clean. It's a must try. Enjoy! 3-22-2026

I first tried food from Nguyen's Kitchen at one of my daughter's classmate's birthday parties and was pleasantly surprised. Fast forward a month later, a friend chose this spot for dinner and I was totally down since I'd really enjoyed the catered food. The menu is small but solid which I didn't mind at all because I already had my eye on the House Chicken Bowl. It was just as flavorful as I remembered. I love the veggies especially the pickled carrots and daikon which paired so well with the rice and chicken. I ordered a cucumber limeade to go with it and it was super refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness. Looking forward to trying their other bowls next time!

Tasty. Clean. Fast. What a winning combination! I got the bulgogi sandwich and devoured half of it before I even realized - then I tried to save the other half for later but that only lasted like 5 minutes (lol). I can't wait to try their other menu options and maybe even get an açaí bowl from Pur, with whom they share a space with. I appreciate how the food was worth the price - there was so much meat and pickled veggies but the ratio was still perfect! Their sauce is yummy and I added sriracha and jalapeños at home for added spice.

Vibe: Very clean, modern, and easy for a quick lunch. It's also two businesses in one space: Nguyen's Kitchen is on the left toward the back, and PÜR Bowls is on the right (açaí and build your own bowls). What I ordered: Bulgogi ribeye steak sandwich. The bread was soft and warm, and I loved the fresh herbs and carrots. The steak was a little on the chewy side, but the sauce helped a lot and pulled the flavors together. Kid order: Egg rolls. Super crispy. Service: The woman behind the counter was very nice, and they thanked us when we walked out, which I appreciated. Overall (3 stars): A solid, pleasant lunch with kind service, it just didn't really stand out for me. I'd come back if I was nearby, and I'm especially curious to try PÜR Bowls because the topping options looked really good.

I REALLY wanted some good noodles, and I found this place on Yelp. Really nice establishment, very clean. They had many different options, noodles and nice. I got 2 bowls, one with bulgogi meat and one with shrimp. (Then when I got home I put half the meat on one and vice versa so it was steak and shrimp). The noodles were delicious and I'm glad I added the steak and shrimp. The bulgogi was very flavorful and had a tiny crunch from the sesame seeds. The shrimp was tasty, I wish it was peeled though. One the side it looks like they had an ice cream bar, or gelato, not sure but it looked good! And the customer service was 10/10. Definitely recommend and plan to be back!

I love Nguyen's kitchen coffee but their food is also not to be missed! I got the shrimp garlic noodles which are amazing. Also can't skip their crawfish pasta! Service is always quick and efficient and a pretty casual dining area inside. Conveniently located next to a Trader Joe's and Target!

A friend wanted garlic noodle and were about to head out to Hiccup when I saw this, so we made a stop here. No pho but my friend got her delicious garlic noodle. I got the crawfish pasta, very cheesy.

Fast casual Vietnamese fusion? Sweet (literally). My little one had an oddly specific craving for garlic noodles, so we decided to indulge him. I've had pretty mediocre experiences at other Nguyen's locations, but was hopeful walking into this one. The vibe was really simple and modern! Service was prompt and friendly. There are two separate counters here -- one for the smoothie bowls, and one towards the back for Nguyen's. Prices are a little steep considering the quality. A banh mi costs about $11 and tasted delicious (the grilled pork is possibly the best protein on the menu), though the texture of the baguette and the veggies didn't quite hit. Garlic sauce to the rescue! That sauce is so good. The Cajun fries with bulgogi were pretty basic, meat was tender and super marinated (their bulgogi marinade is tasty but heavily on the sweet side) and the fries seemed not too fresh and were unfortunately served cold. Garlic sauce to the rescue! And my toddler's plain garlic noodles with no protein were $10 and were like extra tangy and ferment-y. Like I swear by fish sauce, but these noodles were legit drowning. Garlic sauce wasn't gonna save these guys. Vietnamese coffee wasn't bad. All in all, our family of four ate for about $65. Not the cheapest, but could be worse. Overall would give them another try.

I came here for a Yelp event (to the Pur Bowls side) and obviously saw Nguyen's Kitchen attached. What really caught my eye is that they are open until 1am. My husband works nights and is always looking for places open late to eat. He and our son went there last night and he liked it so much that he had me pick it up for our dinner tonight. Not super big on these types of sandwiches but I did try a bite and it was alright. I really enjoyed the cilantro in it though. I got the garlic noodles and they were very good.

I was impressed by their sliders last time, and I am surprised that their bulgogi steak sandwich is even better. There is a perfect balance among the delicately shaved carrot and daikon slices and well-marinated grilled meat. That's topped off with a generous amount of cilantro, and the mysterious dipping sauce is even better than icing on the cake. NK shares the same staff with Pure Bowl, but they do a good job shuttling between the two registers. I can imagine it can get pretty hectic at times. The dining area was clean and the furniture very comfortable. Having a bony butt, I appreciate a cushioned seating surface.

Came here because the pictures on their Yelp make their food look delicious. It's a cool front that does food food, and Acai bowls. The workers were super nice, and the place was clean. Golden Bao - I could survive off these. These were delicious. Packed with flavor. Fried. Mmm. Garlic pasta with chicken, and the steak sandwich - these lacked flavor for me. These felt like a quick 5 minute lunch you at make at home. They weren't bad, just lacked a bit of flavoring. Very very basic taste. Added some flavor by dipping the brown golden bao sauce on the sandwich is it was pretty good!

Stopped by after an event nearby. It's very clean and well kept. The staff is super nice, helpful and welcoming. I had their Chicken Ba Minh and the portion was VERY filling. I only ate half and saved my other half for later and it was just as good reheated.

I didn't realize this was a chain. Had the one in Carson. First time to the Long Beach location. Quality of rice, steak, fries - excellent! Juicy, good portions, lots of flavor. Not too much seating but it wasn't too crowded. Padded seats and bench. We were right under the air conditioner though so it was a bit cold.

They had these cool lanterns, and metal soda signs in Thai. Plus umbrellas below the ceiling. The menu looked really cool, like it was from a newspaper that is colored. The plates had roosters on it. I loved the ambiance for sure. We saw a couple order a few things I asked what they had ordered. One was grilled pork neck and they suggested the Tom Yum Mama Seafood soup and for dessert mango and sticky rice. I also got green thai tea for drink. We got it all mild because my spice tolerant isn't as good as it use to me, and my mom usually tolerates mild as well in regards to spice. The presentation of the food is great. The Soup was so delicious! I'll definitely order again. It had noodles, like thin ramen. The seafood was delicious with the crunchy pork. It blended so well. I love that the soup was sour and spicy. The pork neck was a bit too spicy, and so I believe they might have not prepared it mild. It was a bit difficult to eat because of it, but still really good. The mango and sticky rice is delicious as well. Perfectly made. I will definitely come back here.

Once you're in though, the wait becomes worth it. Everything has big shareable portions including the apps. The dishes are all super flavorful and cooked perfectly. I'm basic but my favorite was the pad Thai. The noodles were cooked exactly where they should be (not over but not under) and the flavor was just perfect. The tom kha was also surprisingly yummy. I'm not usually the type to get soup at Thai but I really enjoyed how well each flavor balanced out. Would definitely come back!
