Was in Parker for work and stopped by this place for dinner. It's a simply place with delicious food. The staff were very friendly and fast as well. This place gets a fair amount of traffic with what seems like a number of pick up orders as well. I ordered the beef sizzling plate which came with an egg roll. The egg roll was yum and the sizzling pepper beef was really good! Everything came out hot and tasty. We were traveling with our kids and stopped for a bite to eat. My one year old was cranky from the ride and was crying so I decided to try to nurse him for the sake of other customers not hearing him cry. I am not exaggerating when I say every single worker there was staring at me even the cook in the kitchen was staring also the female workers who I thought might understand. I should add I was COMPLETELY COVERED UP I always wear something over I don't want people seeing anything. They weren't just stares either they were looking at me like I was doing something wrong I guess they wanted me to go do it in the car with 115 degree heat outside. Not only that I ordered the bobo platter and the sesame chicken combo the only thing that tasted good were their wontons. Please do not judge this place when you walk in. Looks are very deceiving. Could not be mote happier than finding than place. Living in Ca we have a lot a great Chinese food. This place is great!! Mongolian Beef was very good, Orange chicken great and the Hot and Sour soup is better than the egg flower soup. Only part not completely executed was the fried rice, just a little dry. They clean 2 hours before closing. So, if you aren't a fan of paying full price for a meal while they sweep and bleach- yes the whole restaurant smelled of strong bleach while we were eating- don't go near closing. I felt rushed when I entered, 2 hours before closing when they already started sweeping and was ticked when I had to pack up my food and take it home before I was done. read more

First time there since they reopened after the fire. I hate to say this but the quality of food was not that great. We had beef chow mein. It was mostly noodles with hardly any beef or vegys. The pork fried rice was so very dry. We will not be going there again. read more

Our party of 7 came here for dinner after reading the reviews and was hoping for the best and we were pleasantly surprised. Everyone knows there's not much in Parker to choose from so you don't expect much, but this place delivered. Food was fresh and well prepared. We had Triple Mongolian and Honey Walnut Shrimp - both were very good - not overly saucy like most Chinese places. Price was great for the amount of food you get. The place was spacious and clean. Waiters were efficient. We would definitely keep this on our list if we visit Parker again. read more

This is was my first time trying out China Garden. I am a Chinese food junkie. I called in to order some Chinese takeout to end my birthday weekend off right. I got the orange chicken, broccoli beef, kung pao chicken with no peanuts (due to my allergy) and chicken lo mein. Everything was delicious! The orange chicken was crispy and sweet, with a tang to it. The broccoli beef was on point. The broccoli wasn't too hard or mushy. Good meat to broccoli ratio. The kung pao chicken was delicious. For me, I could go without the celery. Not a huge fan. But that's if I'm nit picking. The chicken lo mein was the BEST chow mein/lo mein I have ever had. The noodles were perfection! The classic orange thick spaghetti like noodles! If I could give some criticism, I would ask for them to carry more shrimp options (like garlic shrimp, kung pao shrimp, broccoli shrimp, etc.) other than that, I love this place! Excellent food! The Orange Chicken was soon good. The customer service was exceptional ... never a "no"; everything was "no problem" and "absolutely". I saw another review that said there was no air conditioner but that is not correct. The dining area was clean & comfortably air conditioned. This is my first experience at this restaurant. We walked in and got sat right away. The waiter wasn't too polite and didn't speak much English, kinda hard to understand but it makes it more authentic. By the way, the water was bad like tap water. We order a lot of food we ordered pot stickers, orange chicken, fried rice, walnut shrimp, lo Mein, sesame chicken. The pot stickers were 8/10, orange chicken 8/10, Fried rice 6/10, walnut shrimp had weird sauce on it and it didn't taste that good 4/10, lo mein 9/10, sesame chicken 8/10. We were so excited for the reopening of China Garden after the fire. We spend our winters in the area. How disappointed we were! The seating arrangement is now just like a big community center with no private booths as they had before. Decoration is very minimal. But did the food make up for it? NO. Mediocre at best. We tried it 3 or 4 times and were disappointed every time. So we'll eat elsewhere. The cafe we used to rave about to our friends no longer exists in Parker. read more

Maybe we're spoiled by genuine Chinese food, as I know a lot of the locals think that going to China Garden is really great. Almond Chicken, in my book, is chicken breast coated in nice breading, deep fried, and served with a nice gravy-like top-over. The "stuff" you get here that hides under the disquise of Almond Chicken is like some kind of chicken muck soup. FERGET IT! The other dishes we've tried (on more than one occasion) are reasonable facsimilies to Chinese food, but the quality really lacks. Pretty much looks like a lot of chinese restaurants-but everytime we are in town we eat here and the food is fresh and good. We highly recommend the Po Po Plater -spelling?- (it is a mixed appetizer platter). Definately stop in if you're in Parker- it is worth it! read more

Best place in town to eat! We bought our vacation please 8 years ago & have tried every place to eat in town. By far the best Chinese food we ever had.
