The food is always so good
Monica M.

We have been coming here for 15 years plus. The food here is always so delicious and yummy and the service is always super great and they really take good care of you as well and are so nice and friendly and kind. The restaurant is always clean. Yes the food prices have gone up but with the amount of food you get and the service you get it's well worth it. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. It's such a great restaurant and the food is so Delicious .

Loved my chow fun. Amazing staff! Was staying in the area and walked to dinner here solo. Was greeted and allowed at any table I liked. I got a menu with lots of delicious options. I did wish there was a salad or XLB. The water was so yummy. I hadn't had water all day and it was so good. I ordered the chow fun. It didn't take long for it to come out. Lots of fun meats in there and a big plate of noodles. Excellent flavors. The staff were so nice always coming over to fill my water and chat and joke. I asked for water to go and the server told me that he buys red solo cups and gives them to guests because it means a lot to him to add convenience. I really appreciated that gesture. He shouldn't have to buy them himself for guests! The pricing is very reasonable. It's super clean inside. The curtains on the windows are closed to keep the sun out so it doesn't look very inviting from the outside but it's very bright and cozy inside. This place should get way more business and attention. They are incredible.

Several years have gone by since I tried this place last. Overall, I was unimpressed. Here are my thoughts: The good: the shrimp were tasty. The pork in the fried rice was delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked. There were plenty of snow peas in the vegetable mix. The service was fast. The bad: the shrimp are small about the size of a dime. The hot and sour soup has way too much vinegar. The shrimp with snow peas was really more like shrimp with mixed vegetables and some snow peas added. The chunks of zucchini were way too thick. The sauce was a little salty. The ugly: the gentleman at the front when I walked in, was detached, uninterested. He didn't really seem to care whether or not there was anybody there which there really wasn't. Only one other person in the restaurant at lunchtime.

Broccoli Beef lunch special (No broccoli)
Danielle J.

The food was hot, fresh and ready when I arrived after calling the order in. The flavor of the sweet & sour pork and the broccoli beef was really good and they were able to accommodate my request of no broccoli(i know, i know)

Mandarin Chicken, broccoli shrimp, potstickers and egg rolls.

Is this restaurant open Christmas day 2025? I've called 3 Chinese restaurants and none are answering. Since when do Chinese restaurants close on Xmas?

We've been going here on and off for the past 20+ years. I haven't been here in close to 10 years,…read morebecause we moved to the foothills. We went here with a group last night and had the best experience. The quality and preparation of the food was beyond excellent. The service was absolutely perfect and there was literally no wait time for anything...appetizers, drinks, food .. everything was delivered right away. The ambience is great here, we love the old time, romantic feel. This is so rare in these times. Seems like we can't find anywhere really good to eat anymore. Either the food is good and the service is bad or, the service is bad the food is good. We give Rudy's a 10 out of 10!

My only complaint on this Sunday, June 21st, is that after the initial basket of bread (which had exactly four pieces for the 4 of us) we were told by Reece that the restaurant charges $2.00 for each extra piece of bread! I was shocked, and frankly, it's an insult in my opinion, that Rudy's is so "cheap" about the bread! For all we pay for our dinners, asking for extra bread should not be a problem nor an extra charge! That really is a shame because now I am hesitant to consider bringing friends to Rudy's. I hope management will reconsider its' position on the service of bread.

Our server, Lacy, was absolutely incredible--super friendly, quick, attentive, and always on top of everything we needed. The food was amazing, and what really made the night special was how the staff made my son feel celebrated. As we were leaving, several employees wished him a happy birthday and even used his name. Those little personal touches meant so much and made his birthday dinner extra memorable. I was so impressed that after we left, I actually called and asked to speak with management just to tell them how wonderful our experience was and how impressed we were with Lacy and the entire team. Exceptional service like this deserves to be recognized. We will definitely be back!

Time for an update as it has been 3 years. Hubs had a craving because he saw a commercial on TV…read morewhile watching baseball. OMG they have gotten even more expensive for less! The ultimate feast is now $53.99 and $5 more if I want to sub fried shrimp for grilled. That is $8 more than it was 3 years ago AND the garden salad is no longer considered a basic side. It is a $3.99 upgrade to get that! the salad is small and ain't all that for an increase. It USED to be complimentary! at least the cheese biscuits are still comped and they are unlimited so we got a bunch just so I wouldn't be so angry about the outrageous-ness of it all. My side of broccoli was rancid. How you ask? it is basted in butter and I think the butter was bad. It tasted moldy and smelled funny. I asked for a replacement of just PLAIN steamed broccoli and that was fine so it was the butter. Hubs got choose two (shrimp linguini & shrimp scampi) for $27.99 and it ONLY includes one side but since he wanted the salad, and added bacon to his potato for $2.99 total cost was $35 The crab was borderline old and dry. No crab zippers so they were hard to open with just the crackers. Scampi was dry. Usually there is a nice pool to dip your bread in. Lobster was the best out of everything but not enough to save the whole meal. Our young waiter Dylan was great though. Very nice and very accommodating to our needs. Overall, it was not worth the $100 we spent for lunch of no drinks, apps, or dessert. These are different times RL. There are Too many other places that offer better. I can do AYCE sushi, Korean BBQ, AYCE lobster and crab, or even Cattlemens for the same if not less. I would be happier if you didn't nickel and dime me for every kind of add on. Geez, at least make the salad a regular side. There are weekday specials that seem to be better but we live too far to travel on a work night. I have a gift card I forgot to bring so that will be the only reason we return. Will I be terribly sad when they go out of business? Besides nostalgia, sadly, probably not.
