We stumbled upon Folsom Palace while in the area and what a great decision. The decor inside the restaurant is colorful, classy, and such a vibe. I loved it and the service! Wow amazingly friendly and accommodating. Our server had a lot of energy. We ordered the wonton soup, pork fried rice, chicken Thai basil chow fun and the Korean bbq short ribs. Everything tasted delicious and came out hot! You'll have to stop by and check it out for yourself!

True rating: 3.5/5 My husband and I came here for lunch and got their Sichuan chicken and pork with eggplant dish. For the lunch special it was $15.75/each. Came with a hot and sour soup. We felt like the dishes were good but not very memorable. They also didn't feel very "meat" heavy. There were a ton of veggies for both plates which can be nice but felt it was skimping on the meat. The soup was actually my favorite! The inside is very clean and modern. Service was quick, nice, and attentive! I'm glad we went to try a new restaurant but not dying to go back. Looking for some other new and yummy Chinese restaurants around sac!

12-25-2025 4:30 pm. Ambiance: Awesome setting. You have several big screen TVs to watch sports while waiting for your food. You can view the kitchen while they cook your meals. Pretty awesome. Service: Amazing. We had nine people and our waters and drinks stayed full. The food was served fresh, hot, and correctly. Nice selection of beer, sodas, and wine. Food: The best Chinese food in the Sacramento area; hands down. Everything we tried was amazingly delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Bejing Beef and Baos. We paid for 4 people and with 20% tip the total was 200.00. Worth every penny!

I chose this restaurant for Mother's Day as their food is amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful. It is an Asian fusion restaurant with a mix of modern decor with traditional Chinese art. Despite making a reservation we had to wait for our table and it took a while for our food to come out. Everything was incredible: even the most simple dish was flavorful, and everything was spicy and seasoned perfectly. My kids were picky Eaters and happily ate everything. The staff was upbeat and friendly despite how busy it was; the manager was laughing that he was Superman running around. I can see why people chose to take their moms out for this special day at this restaurant. I was happy to make memories there.

This was a hard review to give a number to. I'll explain. First of all, I've been here several times and the food is excellent. The restaurant is pretty inside and comfortable and clean. There is seating inside and out. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. My review is based on a situation that happened the last time I went in for lunch. I got my bill and it was not correct, according to their menu and their website. The website says one price for lunch special, the in person hard cover menu says another price and I was charged five dollars more than both of those prices. I had Sweet and Sour Chicken lunch which was a small portion of chicken and a small portion of Fried Rice. No appetizer with the lunch special. I did not want the soup. It was $18.95 on my bill. I had an order of six pot stickers and my lunch portion of chicken and water....and the bill was (with 20% tip) $43.50. Yes, $43.50 for one person for lunch. I knew the price was incorrect and asked my waiter. He said oh yeah, they've raised the prices two times....but never changed the online menu or the hard cover table menu. I don't think this is okay. There was not a manager or anyone available to talk to about it. The price for both items I had was more than advertised. I do not have the means to spend that much for lunch for one person! So unfortunately I won't come back to this good spot. I will reiterate, the food is good!

The food was good. The lemon pepper chicken was fire. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious and lastly the chicken rice was good. The service was on point and he never missed a beat. The environment was nice and the ambiance of the place was dope. Music was great. Very calm and good vibes

Best Chinese food I have had in a very long time. The Mongolian beef was so tender and sizzling hot. The Szechuan chicken was packed with flavor and veggies were crunchy (which is how I like it). The combination chow fun was also incredible. Service was great. The ambiance is spectacular; there are multiple TVs and a bar, so you can watch a sporting event while eating excellent Chinese food lol. I will definitely come back

Long time residents of Fair Oaks and we haven't tried this restaurant until this tonight. The ambiance is nice. The lead in the dining room was wearing a red chef jacket and his personality was outstanding. Super friendly and made our restaurant experience. We had a lady and another gentleman in all black serving us as well. They are clearly a team here. We ordered crab cheese puff appetizer, black pepper chicken, an the Singapore Rice Noodles. They were all delicious, all large portions and more than enough for 2 of us. We are pleased we tried one of our local restaurants and will be back.

The place is very nice and modern. I was greeted quickly by a very friendly gentleman. I observed several people eating at the tables. I placed a to-go order around 1pm on a weekday. It took about 10 minutes to receive my order. I ordered one of the lunch combinations of chicken chow mein, rice, and chicken w/ veggies. It tasted good and satisfied my craving for Chinese food that day. Parking was available and easy considering the lot is shared by a few other businesses. Overall, good chinese food and great customer service.

Tuesday afternoon lunch. Dining room not busy. Immediately greeted by a happy and gracious hostess. Seated at the premium front window table. Nice furniture modern and sleek. Comfortable chairs. As you can see from many Yelp photos the dining room is delightful chaos of colors, many mismatched (yet matching) ceiling drop lamps, wall sconces full of knick-knacks, and a giant TV screen over the bar. I didn't get bored looking around the place. I ate the $15 Kung Pao chicken combo lunch meal. The introductory hot and sour soup was just that. Lots of black pepper in it. I like peppercorns and spicy food so the soup was great. Thick broth, many small cubes of soft tofu, nibs of green onions. The main dish of oh so tender spicy chicken slices with a medley of crispy fresh wok fried vegetables was good enough. A bit on the sesame seed oily side. I chose chow mein noodles for the starch. Had the same sauce as the kung pao so the plate in its entirety was a bit boring. None the less I did gobble up every noodle. Portion big enough that I boxed up at least 1 cup of food for a take home 2nd meal. I'll make dry ramen and throw the kung pao on top. I have not eaten restaurant Chinese American food for 6 months. This meal was a nice re-introduction. Maybe return for dinner when I can shamelessly order a glass of wine or 2. There's some respectable wines on the list. Priced at $8 - $13 per glass that's a bargain worth another visit.

There was a generous portion of all of the proteins, everything was very tender, packed with flavor, and so good. This time I had the rice instead of the salad, and I thought that the beans played much better with the rice, than they did with the salad that I had last time. There is also a green tomatillo salsa, , which had just a tiny bit of heat, but again, it was perfect as an addition to the meal. And we got to squeak in an order of the Ahi Nachos, which I believe are only offered on Happy Hour, and OMG, they were SO good. We were still talking about them the next day. The "nachos" were like a fried wonton. And just all around, the entire dish was delicious! Spicy jalapeños, quality tuna. Go to this place, even JUST for these nachos. The spicy crab (or lobster, I can't remember) bisque, was also really good. I'd recommend it. Mildly spicy, not crazy. My coworker got the caesar salad, and was very underwhelmed with it. For my entree I got the Pesto Scallop pasta. The scallops were overcooked, and underwhelming, in size. But I acknowledge that could just be the season. Doesn't excuse the fact that they were overcooked. The pesto sauce was yummy! I give this place a solid 4 stars, and would definitely revisit next time I'm back in the area. Ahi Tuna Nachos get a 5 star, though, for sure. Thanks for hosting us!

I was very shocked to say the least, especially since nobody was checking in, asking us if we wanted drinks, letting us know updates. This was a reservation for a special event which I specified when making the reservation. We obviously left after waiting 20 minutes into my 7pm reservation, with no questions asked as we were :/ even with the event going on, the fact that I had made a reservation weeks prior & was never spoken to besides being told to "sit and wait", it wasn't busy enough to get that bad of service.
