Great place for lunch or dinner - great for a large group - food is tasty - very clean AND THE BEST PART, not sure if the gentleman running the place is the owner, he is SO friendly! We will definitely come back!

    Pretty large portion of deliciousness.

While outside, we kept getting updates from the staff as to what was GONE. First it was the beef ribs and cornbread, and it got worse from there. But luckily for me :) What I was wanting was still there by the time I reached the cutting board. Brisket, pulled pork and house made sausage (what was left) some baked beans and a slice of cheesecake. I have a simple guide on bbq. Does the meat taste good with NOTHING added to it. No sauce, nothing dumped on it. I want to taste what the owner wanted me to taste without dousing it with sauce. I was NOT disappointed. The Brisket, falls apart with the slightest tug, the pulled pork, You don't need anything added, moist without greasy. The regular sausage (they have spicy as well) was a perfect level of heat for me. And the sauce was a nice touch - not the cover. While enjoying my meal back at the house - My BBQ inspector was hoping for a piece.. Not happening. Kudos to the staff for handling what I'm sure is a non-stop flow of customers while they slowly run out of items. Keep that in mind when showing up and waiting. Get there late, well.... They are only open for 3 days a week and only 4 hours a day at that. Will HAPPILY return, well done folks.. I made sure to get enough to supply my lunches for the next few days. Make that wait worth while.

Once the door opened staff kept coming out and were very focused on keeping an opening in the line for the Taqueria next door. When we got inside there is a small eating area and I was surprised to see some were still available. Probably took about 20 min for us to get to the counter. All the staff were friendly. Ordered 2x 3 person trays (sub out turkey): brisket, ribs, bourbon pork belly, spicy sausage, cheesy grits, slaw, Mac & cheese, brunswick stew, collard greens, cornbread with blueberry, pecan pie bars, and chess cake. Brisket and ribs were spectacular: juicy, tender, perfectly smoked, and great flavor! Best sides to me were the cheesy grits, mac & cheese, collard greens, and blueberry cornbread. Wife really liked the chess cake.

Surprised how busy they were for early dinners or maybe others had a late lunch. This time I tried a different sandwich. I think the menu said it had beef brisket, french fried onions, blue cheese and blue cheese spread. Glad it arrived with the spread on the side. But it was very good. I didn't see regular French fries on their menu. We asked after very friendly server said they had regular fries. I already ordered a baked potato. I love most all potatoes. It was very good they did not hold back on the butter and sour cream! I was very happy. Clean restaurant, very friendly servers and everyone enjoyed their meals. Everyone really loved their bread sides. My husband got the banana bread let me try some very good.

We saw the smoker in the front of the building. I do luv me some good ole BBQ. So off we went. We ordered a double down plate $26: two 7oz protein choices with cole slaw on brioche and an 8 oz side choice. Brisket and pulled pork were our protein choices with and potato salad. We bought another side, macaroni salad. We requested that the pulled pork be placed on the side and additional sauce. I dislike being that customer with persnickety preferences. But we were, and they didn't blink an eye. Super accommodating. The pulled pork had a deep smoky flavor. Tender shredded pieces. Mmm. The sauce was served on the side. That too was delicious. Hubs had the brisket and wolfed that down before I could swipe a piece. Darn. The potato salad was tasty. Slightly tangy, which I really liked. The place is family owned and operated. It's a sports bar and family friendly bbq joint. Giving off family friendly vibes. But hey, a bar and family friendly? Yes. They both co-exist harmoniously. Talking about sports. The TVs of course are tuned onto sports. All of the screens are strategically placed throughout. They even have framed signed football jerseys from USC Trojans, Denver Broncos, and 49ers to name a few. Pretty neat.

A true bang-for-your-buck kind of spot. I kept seeing people walk out with tray orders for takeout,…read moreand now I know why. They've got both quality and quantity. The pancit was a hitter, especially with the pork skewers and lechón. For around $30, you can get a tray that easily feeds 3-4 people. That's hard to beat. This is more of a wish than a complaint: if they ever did longaniza with garlic rice, or tocino as a breakfast option one day a week, I'd be first in line. There just aren't enough Filipino food spots around here. If you've never had Filipino food before, let me make it easy: First order: BBQ meat with rice and lumpia. Fifth order: Upgrade to adobo or sinigang. Tenth order: Get the halo-halo. You're in now. Friendly people, good portions, and real comfort food. Definitely worth checking out.

There's plenty of parking spots as it's in the same plaza as Raleys. It's a smaller shop that poses as a restaurant on one side and a small market filled with Filipino snacks on the other. There's not much for ambience, but it's clean and cozy. The owner served me, and she was super warm and friendly and very welcoming. I had questions about the food and their menu and she was very patient going through all of them. She introduced me to pitchi pitchi which is a sweet and salty cassava dessert that reminds me of mochi. The cheese threw me off a little, but I read that sometimes it's served with coconut flakes. I ordered two halo halo desserts, two combos, the cassava dessert, upgraded the rice to garlic rice, two orders of lumpia, and picked up a couple of calamansi drinks and garlic peanuts as a snick snack. Total bill plus tip was over $100. The menu changes every day, which I think is interesting. And every Sunday they serve lechon for $18 a pound. Check out their Facebook page for updates in case I got this information wrong. For the food, I had half pancit and half rice. I had adobo chicken, butter chicken, and two pork dishes that I don't remember the name. I like that the pork had a good combo of fat and lean meats. I wish I could've eaten it there but we had lunch and then decided to stop here. I felt like the food being warmed up after sitting in the fridge for a bit, It kind of made all of the entrées taste similar to each other. Next time I will vary my order, like I'll get a saucey dish, a sour soup, and a bbq skewer. All in all the food tasted very homey and delicious. It's heavily seasoned. I can see myself ordering lumpia and pancit to a party. Can't wait to go back and try their lechon and pork belly.
