My parents brought me here several times when I was a kid, but I hadn't been back in years. I was excited to bring my wife and share a place I remembered enjoying, but unfortunately, the experience left me a little disappointed. We visited on a weekday, and the restaurant wasn't busy; maybe three or four tables were occupied. Despite that, we waited about 15 minutes at the entrance before being seated, followed by another five minutes before anyone greeted us or offered drinks. We ordered two combination plates: General Tso's chicken with chow mein and lemon chicken with chow mein. The food was fresh, the portions were generous, and everything tasted good but not quite as good as I remembered. Would I return? Maybe, if I needed to satisfy a Chinese food craving. This restaurant is really close to our house. We order from here a lot. The place is a good size and they are always busy. That is no problem,there are plenty of tables and seats to accommodate.The staff are pretty friendly. The deals are very good. Today my kids and I ordered for Togo. I called it in and was told 15 mins. When I arrived it was ready. The one thing that I have to point out on a holiday they are pretty busy with ti go orders and the wait is sometimes very long. I saw this place on Tik Tok. They said it was one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the area. I ordered a combo plate with chow mein, pork fried rice and general chicken. It came with an egg roll and won to soup. My wife got the Mongolian beef combo plate with chow men and fried rice. The won ton soup was good, it had 2 nice big won ton's in it. The egg roll was a typical egg roll that normally comes with a meal. It was good, but but I wouldn't order a side of them. The general chicken was very good. Good flavor and nice big pieces of chicken. They were not overly breaded, but they could have been a little crispier. The chow mein and fried rice were good too, but average. My wife liked the Mongolian Beef but the beef was not crispy at all, it was a loose boiled texture. She only ate a few pieces of it and took the rest home to re fry in a pan. The portion size was ok, for the price. We both had left overs, so it was plenty of food for one person, but at the other Chinese place I go to, one combo plate is enough for us to split, for the same price and its just as good, if not better. Big yums happening here. I'm sad I moved farther away from this absolutely delicious and vegetarian friendly Chinese food spot. Last week I was hanging out with an old friend and our furious Pokemon go playing left us seriously famished. She mentioned this spot was a favorite of hers and that they're accommodating so I said let's get it! And I could see clearly why it's a favorite. Accommodating they absolutely were. I felt comfortable ordering what I actually wanted. We chose a booth in the corner and got to work looking over the menu. Sometimes I worry about asking a lot of questions of the server, but I didn't need to worry at all here. Jenna told the server I was vegetarian and from then on she would tell me which things I could have or could be made to order vegetarian. They have a combo dinner plate that I was allowed to make substitutions on since there were no meatless options for the combo plate on the menu. Some places don't let you do this. I ordered the vegetable medley with tofu added, veggie chow mein as the side, plus egg roll, and a cup of wonton soup without the wontons. I know that sounds weird and I wouldn't have ordered it but we also wanted a big bowl of veggie hot n sour and the server offered to do a cup of the wonton soup broth with the greens "so I could try it." (Jenna also had said I must try it and I have trusted her with my life since 2002.) When I say this alone was fantastic I'm not lying. The broth was so delicious. (Spinach and green onions were also in there soaking up the broth.) So too was the hot n sour soup. Yummmm. They won't give you a cup of it without meat but they'll make you a big bowl to order without so that's cool. My tofu and mixed vegetables was fire. The tofu wasn't too soft, and they had bamboo and water chestnuts in the medley, my favorites. Plus mushrooms and broccoli. Not as excited for squash and carrots but they hold flavors well so. I never know what I'm getting with the mixed veggies at Chinese food spots, so it's always a fun surprise to see. Don't sleep on the chow mein. It was so flippin tasty. Best I've had in a long time. Reminded me of the chow mein at my old favorite, Twin Dragon in Auburn, where I suggested we go but we decided was too far. I'm so glad we came here instead though! This place had great friendly vibes. Lots of tables and booths, busy until around the time we were done which happened to be closing time whoops. We can talk for ages and we did order a lot of food! I had enough leftovers for two meals, easy. It's a nice restaurant too, very beautifully decorated. I highly recommend coming in here for some delicious Chinese food. That combo plate I was talking about was $16 for entree, side, egg roll, and a cup of soup. My tofu sub was a couple bucks on top of it. The big bowl of soup was $11 and enough for four people. Value! Taste! Ambiance! Friendship! Oh yeah. Wow, I am blown away by how good Chopsticks Restaurant is! I saw it on a TikTok where a creator said it was the best so I had to try it. The restaurant is quite unassuming inside a strip mall. We pulled up and I wondered if I'd made the right choice for dinner. Let me tell you, I absolutely did. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed. We had a larger party and sat at a round table with a lazy Susan in the middle for easy sharing. The ambiance was cute and it was super clean. Now let me tell you about the food...I wish I had gotten the chance to take pictures but the devouring began immediately once it was served. We had house fried rice, chicken chow mien, sweet & sour chicken, king pao chicken, honey walnut shrimp, orange beef, and the crab cream cheese rangoons. Every single dish was cooked to perfection....To. Perfection. The prices were extremely reasonable, the portions were big, and the service was wonderful. There was a steady amount of people coming to dine in, and a ton of to go orders that were being picked up. I can foresee me picking up a delicious combination plate on my way home from work in the near future. Such a great experience and I'm grateful for the Tik Tok video that guided me here! This was a solid 3.7. We actually intended to go to the Rose Garden across the street but they were closed for vacation so we thought we would try here. It's funny because we sat there the whole time comparing the two. The chow mein here was heads and tales better along with the foil wrapped chicken and bbq pork rib. I also preferred the fried rice and the wonton soup over the garden. They came in pretty equal for egg rolls, fried prawns and beef skewer. Where the Rose Garden wins is the cream cheese wontons and the honey walnut shrimp. The shrimp was the whole reason we were going over there. We were thinking about it ever since we ate it last time lol. Chopsticks is good but it's not near as good as the other. I didn't care for the General Tso chicken, I would definitely try something else next time. The prices are a bit high but comparable. I was sad that they wouldn't give us an option to have the walnut shrimp as part of a combo plate or the family dinner. We paid $75 for a two person poopoo platter, an order of cream cheese wontons, a combo plate and an order of honey shrimp. It was enough for 3 people with a small amount of leftovers. We would definitely try here again, just wish we had more options for the combo plates. They didn't even allow orange chicken on there . The service was just ok. I recognize orange chicken is not an authentic Chinese dish but I just had a childhood nostalgic hankering. Also ordered some bbq pork fried rice and Peking ribs to round out my splurge. Hate to admit the orange chicken ended up being the disappointment, as it was dry and not very flavorful, but the ribs and fried rice were pretty good! The pork in both dishes was tender and moist, and the fried rice remained soft even after traveling to my hotel. I think I've learned my lesson and will stick to the authentic dishes. When we arrived and walked in I told the woman at the front that we have 2 for dine in. She glanced across the restaurant for an extended period of time and then told us they were closed . Mind you- there were people dining who had not even received their food yet. I'm asked what time they closed and she said 8:30. She asked if we wanted takeout and I said no thank you and walked out. When my husband and I got to the car we took a phone call and while we were on the phone she came out of the restaurant and tried to wave us back in .The whole interaction was odd. I've been eyeing this place since I've been a frequent customer at the donut shop in the same plaza. I saw on Yelp that they had a lunch special so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special. The lunch special included fried rice, chow mein, your choice of entree, and an eggroll. It came out to about $13 which isn't too bad. The sesame chicken was okay for my taste but their fried rice and chow mein were very tasty! I will probably be back again for the lunch special but will try another entree. read more

I rated all of the food under the photo, the honey walnut prawns and fried rice were my favorite. Pretty expensive however, spent a cool $100ish for what you see. They mentioned the menu online are old prices. Better to Dine in if you do decide eating here (good vibe inside). My rating is combination of service/ ambiance/ pricing/ and opinion on food. I would have given a better rating which i would want to, however the pricing versus other upscale chinese style restaurant's around the area are almost the same pricing, and this place is not upscale, NOT far because its still a decent establishment. Have not yet tried a dish that was not good. The pork buns were perfectly cooked and tasted great. The sesame chicken, honey prawns with walnuts and sweet and sour chicken are some of the best around. Cannot decide if I like the fried rice or chow mein better, they are both really good. The crab-cheese wontons are awesome. It's usually a relatively quiet, nice, relaxing environment.
