Had the lunch special. Reasonable price, generous portion, good Chinese food. Would come back in the area.

Like always, great service and great food. I like there new location, which is bigger. This place gets busy but yet, they get you seated pretty quick.

A solid 3. Nothing too unique about this place, but the standard lunch specials are always a good deal. It is good that, even though this is their new location, they have not changed their recipes. While the food is fairly typical, the hot and sour soup is some of the best in Sacramento. My little sister and I would always get the hot and sour soup when sick...or raining...or days ending in "y." Good news!!! The recipe is the same. Still delicious soup. Overall, nothing too extraordinary, but a good, reliable Chinese food lunch meal. Definitely be sure to order yourself some hot and sour soup

I did not love this place. We've been looking for a new Chinese restaurant buy the house and unfortunately this one disappointed. The first issue was that it was way too hot in the restaurant, it actually felt warmer inside that it was outside. We did not care for the food at all. The Mongolian beef was cooked fresh, just bland. The rice has a very odd taste to it. I have to say that the restaurant was busy, so maybe we were just the odd balls out.

    New location!

My parents would take us to the Silver Dragon since we were little kids, and we grew up loving their sizzling rice soup, sesame chicken, mushu, and fried rice. We visited so often that the restaurant family all recognized us as we grew up. Tonight I went to pick up takeout for my family during a visit home to see my mom, who is terminally ill. :( We're trying to give her all her favorite meals in her last months. The owner remembered me and said I looked just like my mom. When I shared the sad news about her, he looked heartbroken and told me of his own stories of family loss in the past year, sharing his sincere personal advice. It was heartwarming. Our family got to enjoy the food together at home in the backyard, all grateful that the recipes and quality have stayed the same all these years. Hopefully they will be around for the next few decades!

My daughter struck again…read more My daughter flew into town from Texas and she wanted to hit up another Korean restaurant and she found SeoulZip on Yelp-so we headed out there. Driving from Natomas it was a bit of a drive but I'm always down to try a new spot when she is in town. The parking situation at this restaurant was pretty nice-they share a big lot with many businesses,so parking was ample. We walked in towards the end of the night, like around 830pm,only a few people in there, but it was late. They have a pretty decent-sized restaurant with lots of tables,so I would feel comfortable going there with limited wait time most days. We sat down and they have a pretty decent sized menu with lots of options, but I was pretty sure I knew what we wanted. We went with Soft Tofu Soup($19.99). We also went with two orders of Dolsot Bibimbap ($20.99) Lastly we went with an order of their YangYum Chicken Wings($25.99) They provided us with complimentary Banchan as well-almost everything they provided was standard and they were yummy-I'd say the three of us ate about 90% of it-so good. The food came out pretty fast starting with the chicken wings. Overall the wings were pretty tasty and juicy but just a tad sweet for my taste. I tend to prefer my food on the spicier side. The soup came out next and it was sizzling. I really enjoyed the awesome flavor of the broth, very tasty and would order this again without hesitation. Now my son and I both got the Bibimbap and we both came to the same conclusions. -Aesthetic-perfect-almost didn't want to eat it. -Temperature-so hot with crunchy vegetables -loving it -Ingredients-perfect mixture of rice, meat, vegetables and egg -Taste-every bite was better than the last one and had me looking forward to the next bite. Easily my favorite Bibimbap I've had so far. Overall I would say I had a wonderful visit with my son and daughter and was so very happy that my daughter visiting me from Texas got me to add another great restaurant to my Sacramento resume. Just in case anyone is on the fence-traditional Korean cuisine is absolutely spectacular and I recommend that everyone should try it-it's so much more diverse than just Korean BBQ.

Seoulzip is located in a big shopping center and is a good-sized restaurants. Portions were generous and overall food was excellent with just one hiccup. The BBQ Chicken came on a sizzling platter, but initially about 20% of the chicken was undercooked and had pinkness. They took it back and re-cooked it to 109% doneness. Bulgolgi is our son's favorite and he ate most of it. The meat was sliced thicker than most other places but flavors were otherwise good and I like the level of sauce. Its easy to go overboard on sauce. The free banchan was excellent. as was their pork seafood tofu soup (mild spiciness). Wife felt it was one of the better Soondubus she's had.

Complimentary corn tortilla chips, salsa, and refried bean dip with cheese. I loved the REFRIED BEAN DIP! I ordered the Steak a la Chicana. I didn't read or listen carefully enough that the skirt steak with sauteed onions and bell peppers are covered in Spanish sauce. The sauce is actually quite tasty with a little kick. I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort. Choice of beans: refried beans, black beans, or pinto beans. I suspect refried beans is the tastiest option. El Tapatio would be a great gathering place for friends and family. It's located on Sunrise Blvd in Citrus Heights near See's Candies and other restaurants.

The dining room is made up of small tables with couples and friends quietly enjoying their meals and conversations.
