I use to get the candied pork strips but they don't have it anymore however when I crave pork fried rice and chicken this spot never disappoints. I always get the combo meal with the egg roll. The service is always quick no longer than 15 minutes. Food was piping hot, smelled amazing, and yet somehow lacked any flavor, rice was bland and not what I would consider "fried rice", noodles were mid at best, general tso chicken was not spicy and questionable on if it was actually chicken.. I will say they did a great job at getting our food to us quickly, at least 3 people in 10 mins came in for Togo orders and we were still out of there in 10 mins. Cant beat easy, quick, and delicious Chinese food that's close to my house! I like to go here for their lunch specials. It is a big lunchtime window so you can get their special between 11am and 3 pm I believe. It's only about $5 and it comes with so much food that you could actually split one dish between two people. Everything I have tried to far has been yummy and full of flavor. The fried rice it comes with is great! Definitely not the healthiest meal, but boy is it satisfying! They have carry out only right now because of Covid-19. They used to have a little area inside you could eat if you wanted to. I'm glad they only have carry out, so it is a little safer for everyone wanting food and working there. The last time I went there everyone that was working was wearing a mask, even the cooks in the back of the kitchen. That makes me feel like my food is safe and I appreciate them following the mask guidelines. I've went to some other places to eat and no one was wearing a mask. So thank you! read more

I really didn't like this place. The inside looks to be under construction and unkept. There were small pieces of rice on the table and floor, in addition to the lobby area being small; it's definitely not made for dining in. I was greeted when I walked to the counter. I ordered general tso chicken special that comes with fried rice and an egg roll. I got an extra egg roll for my mom and an order of crab rangoon. I didn't like that I had to ask for plastic wear and napkins. The food did come out relatively fast. It bothered me that I could see in the kitchen and it was a big plastic container of what looked to be chicken that's used for like sweet and sour chicken just sitting out uncovered. It makes me think the chicken is cooked way in advanced and thy just throw it back in the grease to warm it up and sauce it up to serve to you. The sauce had a good flavor, just enough spice for me. But the chicken was tough and chewy, it reminds me of when I reheat chicken strips or Chinese chicken the day after ordering it. I don't like yellow rice served as fried rice. I don't like crab Rangoon that's more sweet than savory. Which is everything this place served. The egg roll was good. It was nice and crispy with good taste. I like that the chicken and rice was served in a quality plastic to go container. I'll definitely keep it and add it to the Tupperware cabinet. It was a decent amount of food, I think a little pricey for $10. In total is spent like $20 and it was definitely not worth it. I should've just ordered 2 egg rolls and saved about $15. Ordered online. Signed up for txt message updates. Didn't receive any type of communication from the restaurant, waited until the delivery deadline and still no communication. Called customer service and they said it's already been delivered. I have security cameras but somehow I missed the delivery person at my front door. They dropped it off and it set on my porch for 30 minutes while I was waiting for it. NO COMMUNICATION from the restaurant. Overpriced. Food was mediocre at best. When I walked it it was three people working behind the counter but they seems to be very busy answering phones and taking orders . Had my last meal at this place. The quality of the food has gone down. Normally have Cashew Chicken each time. They have replaced the water chestnuts with carrots. Not even thin sliced. The sauce they use is more runny than before. Kinda like soy sauce. The flavor of the mix is different now. Asked for hot sauce, hot mustard, duck sauce, all they had was sweet and sour sauce. I've lived in the neighborhood for close to 17 years, so I've ordered from China House practically since it opened. In the past year or so I haven't ordered any takeout, so tonight was ordering after a long time. 1. the driver dropped a different order than what we ordered. 2. did you know that there is such thing as bland Chinese food? No? Because there isn't. The "Happy Family" I had was practically half-boiled half -something stuff with absolutely no seasoning, not even salt. I wish I could give negative stars. I only choose China House due to the convenience of Delivery. So I already know it's not the best Chinese food around. I had a bad experience in the past and it took me a while before I decided to give China House another try. Every restaurant may have their off days, but when it comes to the quality of food, especially meat, you can't slack. So, this last time I ordered broccoli beef, egg rolls, veggie fried rice, and veggie lo mein. To start I didn't get the veggie fried rice it was just white rice. The lo mein wasn't bad, not a variety of veggies like normal it was just packed with mushrooms and maybe 2 snow peas. The broccoli beef though, that wasn't beef. I'm not sure if that was even meat.... it had to be powder at one point in time or maybe came from a different animal or something, but trust me - it wasn't beef. My fiancé and I both took one bite of the broccoli beef and threw it out it was so bad. Later we both ended up getting food poisoning from it. I'm not sure if it was due to bacteria on the food or if it was due to whatever meat that was, but it made us extremely ill. Although I will miss the easy of having Chinese food delivered, it's not worth it to ever go back again. Good by China House. I will not be seeing you again. read more

I wish I lived closer, so hard to find good Chinese. I was in the city having my car worked on and decided to get some Chinese. You can order online, went to pick it up and was a little scared location sucks and sure it costs them business. I was thrilled to find the food was excellent. Go you won't regret it, not a place you would want to stay and eat, I would only pick up and go. It was clean and fresh and oh so good. Treat yourself. Much better than most large places. This place is pretty decent. It's good enough that I would eat here again but not to the point where I would be a regular. Of the two places I've been in MWC, this one is the better option. I don't think you get a lot of food for the price so I wouldn't choose this place to feed my whole family. I also won't order the beef and broccoli again. There is a disproportionate amount of broccoli and the beef is soggy. The texture is a huge turnoff and the sauce isn't flavorful. The lo mein and spring roll were good enough that I would get them again. I agree with the other poster about not dining in. I ordered the shrimp chow mein... I paid a dollar extra for the shrimp and it didn't look like there wasn't any more then 5pieces. So I called and argued with them for awhile.
