Diet coke (freezing cold), egg roll, pork fried rice, vegetables, Gen.Tsao Chicken (hot, tasty, and fresh!)
Lance G.

Frankly, not the best Chinese food, but certainly not the worst either. "Combo" plate at $14.95 included egg roll and EVERYTHING was hot...Gen. Tsao Chicken, pork fried rice, vegetables. So much food couldn't finish. Contrary to epicureans (who shouldn't be eating here to begin with) opinions, food is more than adequate, tasty and filling. There are only four booths, but eating is isn't a problem.

I come for dinner and this portion is the smallest I ever had in any Chinese restaurant I have ever went to. It tasted good... but I don't like over paying for my food and this is over paying First time I do not have any left overs - small small small small - not worth the price!!! Tasted good... not the best - just good... bye never again

This place is in downtown Saint Petersburg in the same plaza as the Publix. They have 30 different lunch specials. I ordered the shrimp with cashew nuts. They were only 4 shrimp. The small plastic container that the meal came in is about half the size of what I would get at other Chinese food places for their lunch special. Plus the price of the lunch special costs $1.50 more. I was disappointed by the sauce, food, service, and price. The bathroom had an out of service sign on it, but I saw an employee leaving it drying their hands. I was allowed to use it by pointing this out and it worked fine and was reasonably clean. It is obvious that they have posted the sign to deny patrons the use of the restroom. Save your money and try somewhere else!

Great dinner plates made fresh. Recommend you get an extra egg roll....they are delish!

Terrible Chinese food. Tastes so artificial and unauthentic. Reminds me of mall food. The food itself was very salty and doesn't taste fresh. Also the lady at the counter was so rude. I agree with the other Yelp reviews on how rude the lady working there is. She was yelling and snapping at the customers. I was so taken aback when she snapped at me cause she didn't understand what I wanted the first time. It was her that didn't understand me, I was very clear with my order so it wasn't even my fault. I would never come back here again based on how customers are treated and the quality of the food.

I visited before a Rays game and was immediately impressed by both the service and the food. The staff was attentive without hovering, the pacing was excellent, and the entire experience felt polished and intentional. I ordered the Bibimbap with bulgogi steak, tofu, fried egg, kimchi, vegetables, gochujang, and crispy rice, along with two spring rolls. What stood out most was the balance. The dish delivered heat, sweetness, savory depth, texture, and freshness without relying on heavy sauces or excessive portions. Every ingredient maintained its own identity while contributing to the overall flavor of the dish. Too many restaurants create flavor by drowning food in sauce. Hawkers does it through seasoning, spices, and technique. There was no puddle of sauce at the bottom of the bowl, no overly sweet glaze, and no greasy heaviness. The rice absorbed flavor without becoming soggy, and the kimchi, vegetables, egg, tofu, and bulgogi worked together beautifully. The spring rolls were equally impressive. Light, crisp, delicate, and perfectly executed, with a thin wrapper and just the right amount of crunch. What impressed me most was that I left satisfied, not stuffed. The portions were thoughtful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were layered rather than overwhelming. Since moving to Florida, this ranks as one of the best restaurant meals I have had. Highly recommended.

Whoever thought of the name should be banished from the marketing department but, don't let the…read morename fool you, this place is the real deal. As I'm not a particular fan of Chinese food, my lovely bride is my specialist on the genre. The ambiance: Chinese restaurants are known for their lack of ambiance. ABC (the name still slays me) wasn't anything special but they did have plenty of Chinese News Years celebration material everywhere which did brighten up the place. The food: We ordered the hot and sour soup which was spot on. My bride thinks most make it too spicy. From there we ordered the fried dumplings which were deep fried. They were good but we prefer them pan fried.on to the General Tause Chicken which was excellent. On to fried Tofu which was also made to perfection. Our last additions was the Chinese Broccoli which I had never had but was surprisingly good. Finally, we had the fried rose which was ok but not stand out. The service: Our server was super and served us with a smile and made sure she recommended several dishes that proved to be winners. The bottom line: As with all my reviews, my "customers so what" , would I come back? In my brides case... absolutely and I as a faithful husband would be tagging along

After passing this place all the time I finally decided to give it a try - overall I'm happy I did!…read moreI got the general tso's combo. The price is fair ($11) & the portions were generous. I subbed the fried rice that the combo comes with for vegetable chow mein (+$2). The chicken was crunchy and flavorful (though not as spicy as I prefer but it's always hit or miss with spice on general tso's, nothing a little extra pepper flakes couldn't fix). The chow mein tasted very fresh and wasn't greasy at all which I appreciate. Overall, solid option and I'll happily go back.

We've moved all around St. Pete yet still make the voyage over here whenever we want chinese takeout because it's that good. My family quite literally won't get takeout chinese elsewhere. We always get a lo mein, bourbon chicken, crab rangoon, and general tsos. They are consistently good and I can't tell you the last time they've messed up our order or given us less than ideal food. The food and menu hasn't changed over the years and neither has the quality. I know the place only had 4 stars, but I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will defend it to anyone. This place is a staple in my family's life and honestly of my childhood. The food itself is always hot and sizable portions for how much you pay. I've never had undercooked chicken or lo mein. The bourbon chicken is my absolute favorite and is always perfectly charred and seasoned. The general tsos is always good and never too saucy.
