Kung pow beef and veggies with spring roll

Not too shabby for express Chinese. Fresh, spicy, tons of beef and hot. It's a great little fast food Chinese restaurant that we use once a month. And it's Christmas!

I've been here so many times and I don't have anything bad to say about it, until today. I decided to try the Mongolian beef which I've had at other places and underwhelming and not even worth eating is probably the way I would describe it. It's actually onions with a few pieces of beef. It is overwhelming in black pepper and I don't know if their normal chef is off for the night but highly disappointed. Even the lo mein was covered in black pepper which is weird.

I realize sometimes thighs can look pink. But this was slimy and not hot in the middle.

AVOID!!! This place used to slap. But I just got undercooked General Tso's chicken, and halfway through my wonton soup I realized they gave me pork not chicken wontons. Aside from being undercooked all the chicken would have been inedible anyways. All gross fatty, or super tough hard to cut through piece. This place is a joke now!

In the mood for quick Chinese or sushi? Then this is your place, which has a very handy drive thru staffed by extremely friendly people. Prices are very fair and dishes are good. Ordered chicken and broccoli and it was good- chicken was a tad dry, but I assume that is due to cooking in advance to keep the wait times low. Edamame was fantastic and will be ordered again. I'd rate this a 8.5 out of 10, or a 4 out of 5.

Door dashed sushi and soup as my hangover meal post Gasparilla. The spicy tuna roll was buy one get one free (!!!) and was delicious. The chicken wonton soup also was so good and comforting and warmed my soul. And they gave free little crispies. So happy I discovered this place, will be ordering from again.

always a great experience at Chopstick. we always love their crab rangoons, and the dumplings are delicious. I got the chicken lo mein and it's enough for two meals for me. they're always so friendly when we go pickup, online ordering is so easy, and if you pay with cash on orders over $30, you get 5 free crab rangoons!

Great food. Fresh and fast. I will order again. Nice friendly people that put a nice place together where I think quality beats the price.

The papaya salad was different but had a lot of good flavor. The fried rice was delicious with a curry flavor to it! The Tao dumpling soup was super yummy! Would definitely recommend to a friend and can't wait to come back!

We arrived around 10:15 p.m. on a Friday night, with the restaurant closing at 11:00 p.m. Maybe that contributed to our experience, although several other parties were seated after us, so we weren't the last customers of the evening. We ordered quickly since we already knew what we wanted. My partner ordered the special, I ordered the ramen, and we shared the fried shrimp dumplings as an appetizer. Our server was friendly and attentive, though it was clear the staff was beginning to transition into closing mode. Unfortunately, that affected the atmosphere. While we were still eating, employees were spraying tables and mopping nearby. The smell of cleaning chemicals mixed with our food, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. When my ramen arrived, it looked more like a wonton soup or pho than the ramen I was expecting. I didn't question it because I assumed it might be their interpretation of the dish. However, the broth was quite bland, and the vegetables were still somewhat undercooked. The chicken had no seasoning, it tasted like it was boiled within the broth. After a few bites and sips, I decided not to finish it. My partner seemed to enjoy his meal, though he tends to be pretty easygoing when it comes to food. I didn't try his dish since it was very spicy and that's not really my thing. The restaurant is in a great location on Central Avenue, which makes it a fun area to walk around and people-watch. However, with most dishes priced around $20, I expected a better overall experience and higher quality food. Unfortunately, this isn't a place I would return to.

I visited before a Rays game and was immediately impressed by both the service and the food. The staff was attentive without hovering, the pacing was excellent, and the entire experience felt polished and intentional. I ordered the Bibimbap with bulgogi steak, tofu, fried egg, kimchi, vegetables, gochujang, and crispy rice, along with two spring rolls. What stood out most was the balance. The dish delivered heat, sweetness, savory depth, texture, and freshness without relying on heavy sauces or excessive portions. Every ingredient maintained its own identity while contributing to the overall flavor of the dish. Too many restaurants create flavor by drowning food in sauce. Hawkers does it through seasoning, spices, and technique. There was no puddle of sauce at the bottom of the bowl, no overly sweet glaze, and no greasy heaviness. The rice absorbed flavor without becoming soggy, and the kimchi, vegetables, egg, tofu, and bulgogi worked together beautifully. The spring rolls were equally impressive. Light, crisp, delicate, and perfectly executed, with a thin wrapper and just the right amount of crunch. What impressed me most was that I left satisfied, not stuffed. The portions were thoughtful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were layered rather than overwhelming. Since moving to Florida, this ranks as one of the best restaurant meals I have had. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful find!!…read more I took my mom to a Rays game for Mother's Day & we decided to grab some lunch first. After a quick search on Yelp, we landed on The Library. Great experience with a twist!…read more Food 8.0 Vibe 8.9 Service 8.7 Overall 8.4 This place definitely has his own theme and vibe and it sticks to it. A straightforward menu gives a decent variety and the chef delivered on the flavor. We had the egg Benedict the Gudda grits, and the (not so) French toast. Overall, the food was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the "French toast" for some reason, the chef opted for not doing an egg/milk bath for their French toast, which to me is a grave mistake, who wants to dry French toast? This liberty could be excused, and tolerable for the sake of creativity and innovation, IF it was openly, shared on the menu, or by the server. However, this came to a COMPLETE surprise to me AFTER ordering and receiving it. I've never had DRY French toast, nor do I ever wish to again despite the tasty toppings and well executed cinnamon butter cream, it was still not an enjoyable experience, especially if you're expecting classic French toast. That said the eggs Benedict was phenomenal. The pork is perfectly cooked. The biscuits are light and fluffy. And the sauce was immaculate. The Gudda grits surprise me while not being creamy in the same way of grit, I've had in the past, these retained their grit structure, but it kind of melted in your mouth, providing that creamy texture and they add chopped bacon and a sweet I would guess type of reduction in just the right amount to balance the flavor of the Gudda. I do wish they had sausage and hash browns. But it's not that kind of place. My last complaint would be in the potatoes that come with the Benedict. Whatever other option, they have picked those get anything, but those ours came undercooked, and they refried them for us, and they still were just below average which for a place like this. I expected more. Overall, not a bad place. The coffee was phenomenal. I had a dirty Matcha, and it was perfectly executed. Prices aren't terrible for what you'd expect from downtown St Pete at a fancy place, so I was happy. Service was good and friendly. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the French toast, the manager came over and offered his apologies and remove the item from my bill, even offered to bring us something else, and to have a beverage to go to make up for it. However, I was at the end of our mail and I was ready to get going with the rest of my day, so I said thank you and we departed. Overall, I will not come back for French toast but that eggs Benedict. I would definitely come back and try something else as well. Give it a shot. Just DONT get the French toast. If you like normal French toast.
