I've been ordering from here for 15+ years. We used to be regular bi-monthly customers. the quality has dramatically declined in the last 5 years. it's now Sysco or similar pre prepared crap, at double the price.. . There are many excellent Chinese restaurants in this area , but unfortunately none deliver to st Pete beach These guys know it and have completely skimped on quality because the tourists in the hotels have no choice. This business is mocking us locals because they don't need our business considering they get one time customers from the tradewinds and similar.... Great to go Chinese joint! We live about a mile from here and it's our go to Chinese food joint. The food is good and the family meal combo is perfect for my husband and I. I can't vouch for the dine-in experience, but this is our go-to for Chinese on UberEats now. Their prices are reasonable and the portions are enormous. I get three meals out of their shrimp egg foo young, my favorite dish. We don't love the fried rice here (and it's an expensive upcharge for your side of rice so don't bother), but we're fans of pretty much everything else. The special combos do come with pork fried rice, and are more reasonable portions of food for an even more reasonable price, so that's a good deal. For appetizers, the spring roll, egg roll, and pan fried wontons are all delicious. Off the top of my head, we have liked all the egg foo young options, the pepper steak, the Mongolian beef, General Tso's, kung pao, Hunan, and orange peel. We're willing to wait a few extra minutes to get food here vs. from their more nearby competitors, and we're pretty frequent customers. read more

What has happened to this place? I've been ordering from here for a few years and the last two times have been horrible. The dumplings had no flavor if not for the sauce and the wrap was like eating cardboard. The beef teriyaki was inedible. Rubber on a stick with no teriyaki flavor at all. This is just an average place. I have ordered a few times and won't order again. The steamed dumplings were good, but the Singapore Mei Fun had hardly any pork, shrimp or chicken. Sliced scallions were scare. I did have a major issue with the Kung Pao Chicken. It was actually sliced chicken with hardly any peanuts.I don't know why broccoli was in the dish. Traditional Kung Pro Chicken is made by stir frying raw peanuts, hot peppers, diced chicken and diced celery, bell peppers, scallions with ginger and garlic. First time we tried this place and it was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the wonton soup though, kind of blah. The house lomein and the sesame chicken were pretty tasty. BEYOND WORDS OF DISGUSTING!!! Please don't waste your money. (not expensive but then it's not cheap either) Take a good look inside, the kitchen is filthy! First time ordering for pick up. I live next door. (new to the neighborhood). The hot n sour soup was very old with way over cooked vegetables as well as way to liquid, I spit it out. The mushrooms smelled rancid. The egg rolls were dry, dry, dry and was mush inside. I spit it out. Spring rolls were just as horrible. The lo mein noodles were so old that the noodles were in tiny bits (sitting in oil for way to long before being prepared. General Chicken was nothing but sweet n sour breading. yek! Look, I know Chinese food from a carry out is usually just ok (sometimes a hit n miss). I don't expect miracles just get what I pay for. When I called to express my dissatisfaction (did not ask for exchange or refund) the owner simply asked what he was supposed to do about it. (clueless) I should have spent my $40.00 on another place. Really expensive with mediocre food. PLUS, I'd you order from the website, they add a "convenience" fee AND a "carryout" fee. This is ridiculous. They have no inside dining, so the "convenience" is a BS charge on top of the already overpriced, Medio re food. I'm never ordering here again. read more

The food was alright at Hong Kong. I'm unsure whether the owners are from China. Perhaps my instinct is off about that, though, and the kitchen is just cooking for American palates. It'll do in a pinch. There are worse options out there, that's for sure! read more

We love the food here! Sesame chicken is always a hit. We used to be able to get delivery, but moved just out of reach. We often order take out when we are close by. They don't really have much space for eat-in. Family run, have watched the kids grow up. They used to play catch in the parking lot with our boys. read more

The hustle is real! If you blink you will miss this little gem on Pasadena approaching St Pete Beach, but it is worth the u-turn. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is there really is no hospitable area in which to dine in. The two tables and basic chairs are more suited to waiting for your to go order. While you wait, four very busy employees will be working like a well oiled machine in what has to be the busiest Chinese restaurant in town. We were there on a Sunday night around 7:30 and the phone and internet orders never stopped. And the food? So. Darn. Good. Best fried dumplings I've had, and I've had quite a few. Very, very fresh eggrolls. Wonton soup was beyond good. Both the orange chicken and the chicken and brocolli were a cut above the usual, with more variety of ingredients and finer knife skills on the veggies, especially. Maybe that's what they mean by New York style? Found this thanks to another yelper. Saw four stars for their rating and thought this would be great. Well, it's about average at best. My wife got sweet n sour chicken with plain fried rice. Breading on the chicken tasted slightly undercooked. I got teriyaki beef and plain white rice. Rice was fine. Beef teriyaki had little flavor. Plus, no napkins or plastic ware were provided with takeout order. You lose a star for that in my book. read more

Food had not taste, some of the chicken had the texture like it was raw. It was delivered fast but they wayyy overcharged me. My order was $18.45 including tax and they charged me $25 (seems pretty steep for a delivery fee of almost $7), I also had to tip the delivery boy... Very disappointed. When I called the lady on the phone was rude and kept telling me I had an old menu, I told her I just received the menu this afternoon (as I just moved in to the area), and she kept yelling at me saying that sales tax, and I said, sales tax is 7%. She first said delivery was free with $15 purchase, then changed it to $3. I told her that was still not $25 and she kept yelling and saying Whatever whatever. HORRIBLE PLACE! read more

The food here is wonderful, we have never had anything that was not really good, we normally get the mongolian beef, special fried rice (pork or chicken) soup and spring rolls.... so good... . We always get deliveries, and it is alway piping hot, and once when the drawbridge was stuck, and none could drive, so our delivery could not be made via car, the restaurant walked over our meal, that is service for you. read more

I've never ordered from them before, so I gave it a shot. I ordered steamed dumplings. There was nothing wrong with them, other than they were too doughy, but I just didn't like the way it tasted. The chicken teriyaki was not good, the meat didn't even look like meat. I got General Tso's chicken and it tasted very fishy, like literally....as if it was Tuna instead.
