Unfortunately the food's flavors, textures, and temperatures (hot foods) were subpar at best and disappointing. Nothing tasted as it should...even the Wasabi was bland with no punch. Second, their buffet for dinner does not cost $13 a person so I do believe this person is reviewing the wrong restaurant. As for China One Buffet, I have been a customer there for 20 years. The best items are their broccoli and chicken, crab rangoon and honey chicken. Their egg rolls are very nice as well. They are always fresh and good service. Their fried rice is good, although I prefer the pork to the chicken as it has more flavor. Their prices are reasonable. I miss their buffet, since covid they are take out only which I appreciate but there are items you cannot get otherwise, such as their cheese bread. Only negative thing I can say is that their sesame chicken can be a little stringy and sometimes overcooked. The honey chicken though is to die for! read more

This was the most disgusting food ever! Stay away! We threw out our entire order after taking one bite of each of the three meals we ordered. The beef was nothing but strips of fat, and the chicken was so stringy and slimmy that we arent even sure it's chicken to be honest. We got none of the side sauces we requested and the egg rolls were not even close to edible. The only word that comes to mind is GROSS! I ordered delivery. The only thing I ordered was Moo goo gai pan because everything was so expensive. I got the combo for $12.99. Upon receiving my order, the egg roll was the tiniest egg roll I have ever received from any chinese food establishment ever. It was also burnt. My white rice with my dinner was overcooked and extremely mushy. There was hardly any vegetables in it. Maybe two slices id carrots, one slice of celery and a million mushrooms. The chicken did not taste good either. Nothing had flavor. I will definitely not order from here again in Oregon. Glad I didn't order Edamame and egg drop soup as I'm sure I would have been disappointed with those as well. read more

One of the worst Chinese buffets I've ever eaten at. I could only stomach (half) of one plate. The dinner buffet price was $13 a person which for good food and selection is doable but I will never return here. The food was cold, had obviously been sitting out for a long time, did not taste good and the selection itself was slim and unimpressive. China One has always been good and fair priced. The best on their menu would be crab Rangoon, sesame chix, honey chix, chix and broccoli, fried rice, fried zuchinni and their green beans are off the hook! I visited China One Buffet for the first time today. Nothing was necessarily amazing but everything I tried was quite good. The only exception being the one sushi roll available which resembled a small Philadelphia roll. It had a terrible, fishy taste. There are many fried choices like chicken (southern & tempura) , crab rangoons, onion rings, egg rolls. Several chicken dishes (sesame, honey, grilled, teriyaki). I saw a fried pork stir-fry, lo mein, hand-made pan-fried pork dumplings. For soups I saw egg-drop and wonton. To my surprise there was a pepperoni pizza. There are many more that I can't recall. Lunch buffet w/water was less than $7. I'll be a regular. read more

I am a Chinese food lover, so when I moved here in 2013 I had to check them out. China One Buffet was one of them. Close to where I live and easy to find. The price is right on. The buffet had numerous chicken dishes, which is okay, I guess. At least you had a choice. Everything was tasty and hot. The crab rangoon was to die for! So, this was a couple of months ago and I plan to go again tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the same good experience I had last time. read more

The food is good and it gets pretty busy sometime especially around the weekends and around dinner, i always like to go there for the Mongolian steak and rice or the shrimp. The service there is very friendly and fast so that you do not have to wait very long for a refill. You can get as many plates as you want for a very affordable price of around seven dollars if you get water. The owner is always there as well, which is nice if you have any concerns about your food or the service. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, and the restroom is nice as well. At the end of your meal, you will receive a fortune cookie that will hopefully improve your day with something cheerful or predicting a great future. There is also an ice cream machine with three different ice cream selections of chocolate, vanilla, and a mix of both. There is chocolate and cones by the machine if you want to add to the flavor. You pay as you go out and can get a mint as you leave. The only issue I ever had there was that we were kicked out for no reason 30 minutes before the restaurant was supposed to close.
