Confusingly, there is no sign for this store at all. The Blue Moon guy cheerily confirmed that I was in the right place when I timidly walked in, and my food was there already. For my first visit, I went with the "kinda hot" Nashville chicken sandwich and kinda hot fries. I was pleasantly surprised by the juicy chicken, which was also "kinda" crunchy. As far as hot chicken goes, kinda hot was really mild, so don't be afraid to order "hot" if that's what you want. I probably could've gone for more sauce and bigger pickles (both from an acid and texture perspective), and the soft bun didn't look like much, but was easy to hold and kept the components together. The fries and house ketchup were delicious, which is always a plus.

Figured it was far away and was one of those crazy ads, however after clicking the bait, was surprised to see that they are based in Downtown Denville. While I could be wrong, Cayenne Nashville Hot Chicken appears to be a ghost restaurant working out of Blue Moon Express. What is a ghost restaurant you may ask? As takeout and delivery is ever so popular, ghost restaurants often work out of established kitchens and rely on Door Dash and similar food delivery companies to deliver food and offer pick up as an option. I ordered online at https://www.eatcayenne.com/ Picking Denville as my location and ordering was simple and easy. I'm a big fan of hot food and just stuck with the 3 Alarm Chicken Sandwhich without any sides. Food was ready as promised and I picked up from inside the Blue Moon Express. If you are looking for any signs, I don't recalling any. Had I seen the signs, I may have stopped in sooner. While not my new favorite Chicken sandwich in the world, it was a tasty sandwich. I was somewhat unimpressed with the appearance of the sandwich but have learned that looks may not be everything when it comes to food. I will add the food was picked up and pictures were taken moments after in my car. No doubt a delivery service could easily make thr sandwich look the way it did but this was taken minutes after walking out the dooor. My sandwich was far from the one advertised, but still tasty nonetheless. I wolud imagine the fries would make a great combination. Based on online reviews, I'm guessing this location is fairly new and figured I'd share a new place to check out. This location offers takeout and delivery only and ordering is done online. It may be a place that others may enjoy so I'd figure I'd share.

However, I regret to inform you that Cheese Fries are really Cheez Fries, without actual cheese on them. (I bet I could order that... for an additional fee. The 50 cent upcharge looked too good to be true.) So now, the unfortunate reasons the 4 stars has dropped to a 3. First, I agree with what many others have said here - this is the wrong environment for Denville. You're walking into an industrial setting. The raised roof reveals some rough edges to the top of the bathroom and above the kitchen, both of which feature various objects stored on those tops. Really poor design unless you're a test kitchen. And design alone wouldn't be enough to deduct a star, except the service was a bit of an issue. There were only two staff present, and they were both cooks, which means one of them had to stop cooking every time a customer had a request. Service was still fairly quick and friendly, but I really can't think of another time I have experienced something like this. One star will be given back with either of the above reductions fixed. If all is fixed... I will come back, order an actual burger with actual (upcharged) cheese on my fries, and reconsider.
