The food is really good here but I wish I could say the same about the staff who answer the phones. I Don't recall her name but she was quite rude talking back to me. I apologized about the situation (canceling my order after 5 minutes of getting off the phone) and she chose to give me unwanted attitude. Telling me "what about all the other customers" Like WHAT???? It completely got me off guard & not to mention it was completely unprofessional. We having been coming to China One over the last year, and haven't had a bad meal! We first discovered them through the circular ads, where they always have coupons, including a free wings with order over $30 coupon. The food and portion size is good for the money, and they have good lunch specials. We ordered about $90 worth of food for my family but decided instead of ordering the meals that come with soup and sides, we ordered the full meals thinking we would get more food. What a huge let down! We ordered the cilantro beef and got more cilantro and onions than beef. Kungpao chicken had tiny pieces of barely there cut up chicken, that my brother asked if I ordered the vegetarian one?!? I'm a fan of China One, especially during lunch time. Service is fast, no nonsense, and efficient. Food tastes good and is served in large quantities. The lunch special comes with a piping hot serving of egg drop soup. I usually go with the general chicken, which comes with fried rice and chow mein. It's a step up from Panda Express and a much better value, and your food is never sitting under heat lamps; it's made fresh after you order. I always end up with leftovers to go, which can make for a nice snack or a light dinner later that day. We've also done a family dinner here, which was delicious, but for the most bang for your buck, enjoy one of their solid lunch specials. read more

So we came out to eat with some friends and they introduced us to this spot. Friendly customer service and they didn't mind that we stayed a little over closing time. We each ordered different plates so we can try a little bit of everything. We all loved the lemon chicken, looked like katsu chicken only with a lemon sauce instead this was really good. Mushroom chicken was ordered, now I'm not a big fan of mushroom but this dish wasn't bad. Kung Pao chicken was also good but it wasn't that spicy even after munching on the little red chile's lol. Made to order, fast food. Not the friendliest but it's a cultural reason. But they are very prompt and efficient and take your order and make it exactly as you order it. You may also substitute meat for vegan options if you prefer. Something easy to pick up if you don't feel like cooking for the night. They also have lunch and dinner specials. Love, love, love this place!! We have been coming here for several years now. It is our go-to for takeout Chinese food. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Hazel is always so nice and remembers us whenever we order food to be delivered. My favorites are the orange chicken, kung pao, chicken chop suey, orange beef, fried rice, rangoons, and egg rolls. Oooh and the fried wontons!! The price is also very reasonable and they give you a lot of food. They have many loyal customers, my mother-in-law orders from them weekly. He spoke so fast and abrupt that I could hardly understand him. I decided to get the curry chicken and the house chow mein. My order took a bit, so I had a Thai ice tea while I waited. I love Thai ice tea, but this was ok and super, I mean SUPER sweet. I'm pretty sure I left with diabetes! My order was ready, brought to me by a lady with a friendly smile. I was starving and looking forward to my dinner. I get home, realize the curry is spilled all over the bag, and was quite messy. Good thing they had bagged it within a bag. It didn't have that yummy curry smell, I noticed huge chunks of onion and green bellpepper, but still had hope. But nope, what a huge disappointment! There was absolutely no flavor, taste, or seasoning....for curry! The "curry" sauce had this gooey gravy-like texture- it was absolutely disgusting! Gooey...sticky-like, yuk! Huge chunks of bellpepper and onions with a few pieces of chicken that had thus strange texture, like a naked chicken Mc nugget spongey texture. The chow mein was ok but the same spongey chicken, spongey cubes plot pork, and a few shrimp. Again, there was no flavor. At least it wasn't swimming in gooey gravy, so that's a plus! Overall, I didn't like the chicken curry or house chow mein at all. I will not be ordering from this place again. This place just opened here on Day Creek, but there's another one in North Fontana off summit. They appear to be identical. The service today was excellent! A minor language barrier caused our left overs to be thrown away instead of being packaged "to go", but they were apologetic and made a fresh new order to go for us. The food quality is better than a fast food Chinese place although the presentation is 100% fast food. All plates, cups and bowls are styrofoam and all utensils are plastic, which is slightly odd for a sit down / order at the table type restaurant. The prices are slightly higher than a fast food Chinese place but the food is better (sorry Mr You). Everything is made fresh when you order it!! So be careful with the soups and sauces which may arrive at the table slightly below boiling temperature. Food is tasty but average. Have a consistent issue with the level of politeness of the employees. This only applies to the Rancho Cucamonga location as I've not been to any others. At this location, there are only employees who speak Chinese (not a bad thing) and some limited English at front counter. As my wife and I are immigrants (Asian and European), have issue with this especially when in need of asking a question and, most importantly, the inability to say Please or Thank you. Don't mind being 'told' the price of the bill but, should really say Thank you either (preferably both) at time of order and, especially at time of payment. Do not believe they are intentionally rude, just poorly trained which for me, keeps me from patronizing the location more often. In no way am I saying that only English speaking individuals (or documented individuals) should be hired - just believe in common courtesy. read more

Decided to try out since it's new to the area. They have lunch specials for under $9. Includes entree and you choice of rice or chow mein. The soup of the day is also included (eggs drop soup). The soup is not available on to go orders. Also if you are paying with credit card and your order is less than $10, there is a 0.035 fee. I ordered the stir fried tofu and vegetables.
