    Sesame Beef and Chow Mein
    Jeff M.

We DoorDashed this order tonight. This is the first time we had China One cuisine so we tried a few dishes. We ordered the Hot & Sour Soup, the Seafood Soup, Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Sesame Beef with Chow Mein Noodles. You get a lot of food for your money. The soups are hearty with a good amount of seafood in each. The hot & sour exhibits a little heat and a little sour so it delivered on its name. The bitchen surprise was the amount of seafood in this soup. The sesame beef does not travel well as its crisp turned to goo. Still tasty and enough for 2 meals. The chow mein was very good and to my surprise there was a shitload of it in the container. It was the lettuce wraps that gave us the desire to order from them. Again, a lot of food which translates to 2 meals, perhaps 3. We only had a spoonful of the Seafood Soup. We will have a bowl tomorrow for lunch. The small amount we tried was good. China One earned its 4 stars. Perhaps dining onsite it would have earned 5. That will have to wait for another review.

Really good and portions are huge. Staff is friendly and responsive. I could not finish my plate!

This is their kung pao chicken that will cheat you.

Waste of money. They cheat what your order. I just ordered kung pao chicken and they serve mostly all veggies and maybe 5% checken cut into very small pieces. Dont go here.

My wife and I showed up at 8:40 PM on Saturday night 1/31/26. We got off work and wanted to go have a sit down dinner. We work in a restaurant too and we're conscious of closing times. Website says that you're open till 9:30 PM but we were told take out only, "We have to deep clean" upon getting home with our takeout food we're missing our appetizers. We asked for a dinner B we got everything except for the apps. Very disappointing!

Mongolian Beef lunch special with noodles and a Boba thai tea
    Carly T.

Found my new favorite Chinese food spot in Temecula! It's close to my job and super delicious! I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special with Noodles and also an order of egg rolls. Their thai tea Boba was tasty as well! They have great lunch specials, reasonably priced and give a ton of food! Quick and convenient! Staff was super nice and the restaurant is clean! Can't wait to go back!

Size comparison of chicken and metal pieces

We ordered the Orange Chicken to eat at home and found these small pieces of metal (from a wire brush maybe?) inside the chicken. This is my first time ever having any problems with the food from China One, but this seems like a safety hazard that should be addressed ASAP. We love the food and really love the Egg-drop Soup. Please be safe everyone

    Best orange chicken ever!

Absolutely the best service and customer service anywhere very polite. Served fast and hot fresh off the grill. Awesome setting clean and nice mural of china on the wall

This place has gone downhill. As cliche as it may sound, I actually had a fly in my soup.

The place was was nicely decorated. The bathrooms were nice and clean (not funny smells). The dinning area was spotless with updated sort of nautical beach hints. The food was delish from the symphony of the warm bread crust all the way to tartness of the key lime pie. Come here... you will not regret it.

My family and I visited for dinner last night, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing…read morefrom the moment we walked in. When we were seated, we asked for a high chair three separate times before one was finally brought to our table. The high chair turned out to be too small for our son, so we asked if we could use a booster seat on the end chair instead. The server seemed hesitant, mentioning she wasn't sure she'd be able to get by the chair. We said that was fine and instead placed the booster seat between my wife and me. After struggling to get our son comfortable, we eventually realized the booster seat has two different height settings depending on which side is facing down. It would have been helpful if that had been pointed out when it was brought to the table. Throughout the meal, our server seemed distracted and wasn't around very often. Our food was brought out by other staff members, which isn't necessarily a problem by itself, but combined with the lack of check-ins it made the service feel disconnected. The biggest disappointment came when I took my son outside while we waited. The benches, chairs, and handrails in the waiting area were covered in bird droppings. There were spider webs in multiple places, and the entrance to the restaurant itself looked dirty. I understand the restaurant is going for an old harbor or fishing-boat atmosphere, but there's a big difference between rustic and neglected. Instead of feeling charming or nautical, it felt like years of dirt and grime had simply been left in place. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but basic cleanliness and attentive service are things I expect from any restaurant, especially when dining with a young child. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the restaurant has potential, but our experience left us with little desire to return.

It was my first time here so I wasn't really sure what to order. And I just noticed after ordering that there is a self kiosk available too... I saw a nice variety of LUNCH SPECIALS so I had a hard time deciding... SERVICE: A+ Excellent service by a really nice last with long eye lashes! I didn't get her name but, she helped explain the menu items and recommended the FLAUTAS! She also gave a sample of the horchata and I really liked it... AMBIANCE: 10/10 Really nice indoor lighted patio feel. It's perfect for a date night or any occasion. I wasn't expecting it to look so cute and authentic inside... OK so let's talk about the food... FISH TACOS: 10/10 I liked it very much! I thought it was amongst the best in town. Their biggest contender is probably Los Tacos. But, they can win on the quality, portions and pricing. The lunch special was $9.99 and it came with rice and beans. FLAUTAS: 8/10 I wish I ate this right away because if you take it home it will get soggy. The closed box and lettuce and sauces made it mushy. I think I would definitely ask if they can kindly separate the lettuce and keep the box open so the flats stay crunchy next time. It has a nice flavor and texture though... HORCHATA: 9/10 I'm very picky with horchata. To me, it can't be too sweet, too milky or too cinnamony. This horchata was close to perfect. I actually got a nice flavor of the rice, it was not too sweet or watered down and has the right amount of cinnamon. I really like and just prefer it a tad bit thicker or creamier. But, it's definitely one of the best in town! The salsa bar is so nice and CLEAN! The cleanest one I believe I've seen in town. And they are very generous with their salsa bar. There were onions, lime, pickled carrots and radishes. All were very FRESH!! Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes!

On Saturday we wandered into TCI for dinner and started with the heirloom tomato and burrata with crostini. It was so fresh and delicious that I briefly considered writing the tomatoes a thank-you note. Next came the Harvest Valley Salad, which somehow managed to make me genuinely excited about lettuce--an achievement that deserves recognition from the culinary Olympics. For our entrée we ordered the Wagyu Steak Frites with chimichurri. The steak was cooked so perfectly it should probably be framed instead of sliced. Every bite was fantastic. We finished with the ube panna cotta, which was elegant, silky, and the kind of dessert that makes you promise you'll "just have one bite" before accidentally eating half of it. Nathan took wonderful care of us all evening. He was warm, friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance between making us feel welcome and giving us time to enjoy the gorgeous patio. Watching the sunset with live music in the background and that spectacular view? It was one of those evenings that quietly reminds you why people go out to eat in the first place. Apparently we enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the very just two days for lunch. (Scientific research requires repeat testing.) We started with the hummus, which arrived looking like it belonged in an art gallery. Fortunately, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. Then came the chile relleno, which was absolutely outstanding. If this dish ever goes missing, I'd recommend checking my refrigerator first. Faith was wonderfully friendly and outgoing, and our food expeditor, David, was so genuinely warm and personable that by the time he left the table, it felt like we'd known him for years. Restaurants can teach hospitality, but that kind of kindness is simply who some people are. My only tiny suggestion: please turn on the patio misters during these triple-digit California afternoons. The food was keeping us warm emotionally; the weather was handling the rest. And on the way out we let Christine know the carpets at the entrances needed a vacuum. Fantastic food, exceptional service, beautiful views, and an atmosphere that keeps drawing us back. Cork Fire Kitchen has once again reminded us why it's one of our favorite places to dine. Bravo to the entire team!
