Had a wonderful experience at Umi! Jonas provided exceptional service--he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. His positive attitude and attention to detail truly enhanced our dining experience. The oysters were also incredibly fresh and delicious, some of the best we've had. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding customer service. We'll definitely be back!

The spread. Shrimp and beef skewers, sushi combo, live shrimp sushi, fresh oysters, and Japanese shoestring fries.

Honestly, I'm ashamed to how many times I've been to this restaurant. In the past year, I've been here 5 times and I live in OC. The food is very good, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. This is the reason I keep coming back. Everything is amazing. From the host, to the server, and bartender. They are amazing.

This is my go to spot whenever I'm at Pechanga casino. It's located right at the beginning of the entrance into the main casino. They have two sections of the restaurant. They have the main dining area and then they have the bar area with the gambling machines on the other side with a tv. You'll usually catch me on the side with the machines just chilling. I'm not a heavy gambler (my wife is) so she'll be out on the floor somewhere trying to get the big bucks and i'll be watching sports highlights playing quarter blackjack, sipping a drink and eating some sushi hand rolls. The are is always pretty clean and the bartenders are always pretty cool. They partake in small talk with the customers sitting at the bar and are usually engaged with the conversation. You can tell they like their jobs. As for the food, I usually order from their lunch menu since their restaurant is closed when I'm usually there in the afternoon. I like their handrolls, which have been pretty fresh everytime I've ordered them. I've also ventured out and had their beef skewers and their lobster rolls which are also pretty tasty. The lunch menu is pretty limited and they can customize sushi rolls depending on what's available so it doesn't hurt to ask. Overall, its one of my favorite restuarants in the casino and i'll always stop by if I'm there. OOOO 4 out of 5 Adros

**Review is for bar only** One the best cocktails I've ever had! The lychee zen garden...was so good!! My friends ordered the coco noir and a lemon drop and all drinks made so artfully, delicately and masterfully by bartender Andrew. He was outstanding.

Stopped in for lunch with family. I didn't realize they served lunch because every time I tried to make a reservation online it would only allow for dinner. They have a really small lunch menu. We ended up ordering most of the items on it. The portions are pretty small but we ended up sharing a little bit of everything with the group. The food was pretty good overall. Want to come back for the dinner menu, they had way more to choose from. Our server was great today as well.

Delicious tuna nigiri. Great quality and well prepared rice.

My family had a wonderful Father's Day experience. Rafael made it a point to introduce himself as one of the newest managers and greeted us ensuring our dining experience was beyond reproach. Sabrina is tremendous and her service has always been exceptional above and beyond Pechanga's standards. We are grateful for the staff and looking forward to returning soon. Thanks again.

The atmosphere was lively although a little loud for my taste. It IS in the middle of a casino though so the noise is more than forgivable. Especially when the product is this good. Delicious sashimi, especially the blue fin and salmon. Try the calamari, very fresh and served piping hot, crispy and well seasoned and paired with hot saki it made for a delicious treat. The service was good, I never had to look for the server. She was present without being overbearing. I can't justify 5 stars but 4 is definitely fair and worth the visit if you want decent sushi at a very non traditional location.

Amazing experience, as always! The food was perfect. Came here for a birthday, and Dylan was so attentive. Sean made sure our water was never empty. Thank you Umi! We will be back!

First off Bryce was absolutely amazing. He was personable and knowledgeable. I also appreciated the manager visiting the tables to make sure all guest were pleased. I haven't eaten here in a while and it was nice to know the quality was the same. I ordered an unagi roll and a Temecula Fire roll. I enjoyed the fire roll more than the unagi. The unagi was a bit one notes and was missing a contrasting flavor and texture. My gin and tonic was yummy but it didn't have extra like requested. I tried the shrimp cocktail and it was really good. I prefer my cocktail sauce a little more spicy but that's just a preference. The ambiance is tranquil and soothing. I like the dimmed lighting. It can be very romantic for some. Also, Dylan who took over for Bryce was also fabulous!

Lobster Roll was actually made with REAL LOBSTER meat and the entire roll was fried

This was the ONLY restaurant left that we have not tried at PECHANGA and to be honest we were not too THRILLED to try it bc we had very LOW expectations for a SUSHI RESTAURANT inside a CASINO. I mean, how good could it possibly be? SERVICE: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ From the moment you were greeted & welcomed with a BIG SMILE by the lovely hostess to the moment the extremely welcoming and friendly waiter BRUCE took your order. I was blown away at the EXCELLENT SERVICE. It felt the most sincere it of all the other restaurants. There was no slight expression of moodiness or tiredness. VERY PROFESSIONAL. LOBSTER ROLL: 10/10 STAR OF THE SHOW It's actually made with REAL LOBSTER and not Crawfish or worst imitation crab meat. This is one of the only sushi places that actually makes it with LOBSTER and the best part is they also fry it!!! YES YES & YES!!! YAKI TORI COMBO: 9/10 Tastes Great! We loved the Beef & asparagus but, the shrimp or prawn was a bit tricky to get off the skewer! MISO SOUP: 9/10 Was it worth $10 My husband says HELL NO but, for me it was the perfect balance of sodium level. Most places either make it too salty or bland. 1 point off because it could have used more umami flavors from more miso and bonito flakes... AMBIANCE: It was quite beautiful inside with Cool Vivid theme colors. Almost like you were eating under the ocean kind of vibe. Great place for a date night or group gathering. They also have a full bar!! I shouldn't have underestimated this place. It was great! ROCK ON UMI SUSHI & OYSTER BAR!

I came here for a quick dinner in Pechanga resort while staying there. The ambiance was very nice and seating was comfortable. Dylan provide phenomenal service. He was very attentive and provided excellent service. I ordered spicy edamame, tuna carpaccio, and California rolls. The food was fresh and had good flavor. The disappointment was with the price and portion size was definitely bad. Thw tuna carpaccio was $28 for a small portion of it. The California rolls cost $12 and the rolls has a significant amount of rice. I guess you are paying for the convenience of the restaurant being inside of a casino. I would only consider this place if you are forced to eat I side the hotel, but don't go out your way to eat here.

Your choice -a seat at the bar, at the booth or dining table. Regardless of where you are sitting, you still greeted with a friendly smile and the waiters are very attentive. At the bar, there are lots of varieties of alcohol you can choose from. We have visited this restaurant on many occasions. 10/10 times it is serves great food and it is very consistent. Customer service is excellent and so is the food there. My favorites are the sea bass, poke tacos, fries, fried shishito peppers and UNI!

    Hamachi Carpaccio
    Ivee M.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The only thing worth noting is that the Chilean seabass came out overcooked and a bit rubbery. We mentioned it to our server, who immediately offered to remake it. The manager also explained that the belly cut can sometimes be tougher, and kindly offered to remake it or exchange it for a different entrée. Although the seabass texture wasn't ideal this time, the flavors were wonderful, especially the broccolini and mushrooms. I've ordered this same dish before, back in October 2024, and it was absolutely outstanding. The poke tacos were great, and the Hamachi Carpaccio was exceptional...definitely a must-order!

It is not a fried Kung Pao chicken and it's not very spicy. The Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings were a pleasant surprise. They were Crispy, not greasy, and they were packed with flavor. I highly recommend these. They come with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The house made kimchi was pungent, not too spicy, and gave a nice freshness to everything else because it was heavy. If getting your food to go, make sure you ask for all the table side condiments. They offer chili oil, pickled jalapeños, hot sauce, soy sauce, etc to complement and enhance the flavors of your food. The ambiance of this place is casual. It can get a little crowded inside, so walking through can be a little tricky if handicap or walking with crutches which is why we got the food to go. It could use a little more variation of vegetable but when I make it at home I like lots of veggies. The Thai Fried Rice was good, spicy, and I am not sure if it was on purpose but the great variation of bell peppers (red, orange, yellow, grean) allowed each bite to be distinctive based on what the pepper added. There were not too many but I thought they added to the dish. My only question was the interior design. It is aged, and just pedestrian. Because of this I've never been able to share the gloriousness that is a full seafood boil, especially a good one like Pier 88. The headless peel n' eat shrimp and crawfish, the true backbone of any decent boil, were plump and delicious. I felt kind of giddy every time I would finish one and saw how many were left. The lobster tail was a good change-of-pace and the king crab legs, admittedly not my favorite item, still managed to satisfy. I also like how they threw in so much potatoes and sausage into the mix. It was definitely super generous at what other places consider an afterthought. I thought the service was alright. They seemed to have forgotten one of my party's margaritas but that could have been more a slow bartender than an inept server. I also never got a prompt to refill my soda, which is a little more concerning. The ambiance was pretty good. There were plenty of tables and booths, and everything was spaced appropriately. You definitely don't feel like you're on top of the tables around you. They also had plenty of TV's as the World Cup was easy to watch along with. I could be happy here any time I get the craving for some shrimp and crawfish. And as long as the servers were more diligent about refills. One time I'll figure out how to get Miss Scotch herself to one of these things, dirty hands be damned. I'd say getting your hands in the muck and mire of delicious foods is half the fun. And with places like Pier 88 out there, you could be having a fun time and a full belly every day of the week.
