Hot & sour soup--warm, *very* hot (temperature), not too spicy, but nice & vinegary; loaded with tofu, bamboo, etc. Nice portioned. Chinese fried rice: flavorful, generous portions with lots of add-in's (e.g., red pork, peas, etc.). Fried shrimp were large, cripsy yet tender. Bathrooms were clean and requires key. Restaurant is about a 5' walk from the new Tesla charging station. Outside appearance need some cleaning up, but the food is excellent. We got the Mu Shu Pork and Sweat and Sour Chicken. The Chicken was fresh and perfect seasoned with lots of pineapple and vegetables. Mu Shu Pork was my favorite. So tasty , it comes with the "tortillas" and plum sauce. The food and service here were great once we figured out what to do. It was rather confusing at first whether it was counter-service or not. There were a bunch of pamphlet-style menus on tables that looked like carry-out menus, which in the end I guess they were, but also served as the table service menus, too. We got seated and ordered. The number of tofu/veggie dishes was impressive. The server/person running all of the front-of-house was really efficient. The food was outstanding and the portions were huge. I think everyone took food away. My only complaint food-wise is that everything came in to-go containers (even for dine-in) and styrofoam plates and plastic utensils were given. Stopped on our way to Antelope Valley and all I can think was why don't we have good Chinese food like this closer to town? I mean, we do have good Chinese food but the price difference is huge. My daughter and I shared the fried rice and shrimps and we had enough to take home for two more meals. Food was cooked to order so you are ensured that it is fresh. It was a little bit confusing how to order with a couple of big screens where you could place your order and pay but the person by the counter is friendly and approachable. Walking in, I noticed the restaurant is clean and cold. If you want ambiance, this isn't the place. Plenty of tables and the food smelled good. You walk up to the counter and place your order on a touch screen. Click the item you want, add to your order, then click the next item and so on. When done, swipe your card and wait to pick up your order at the counter. Chicken fried rice and orange chicken to go for me. The order came out fast and I was on my way in no time. The orange chicken was well cooked and a large portion. I just wish there was more orange flavor and more sauce to mix with the included steamed rice. The fried rice was also bland. Nothing was bad but nothing was good either. We had orange chicken (taste like they used fish sauce), chow mein, egg rolls and pot stickers.

The food was good. I would give a 4, but even though the food and service are very good unfortunately they serve the food (even if you are eating there inside the restaurant)in Styrofoam to go boxes. And the plates are Styrofoam. I get it, easy cleanup, but soooo bad for the environment. read more

Stopped at the gas station on the way back from Disneyland and saw a sign for egg rolls, which sounded really good. Chinese food is always nice in cold weather so I decided to check it out. Customer service fantastic, food was so hot and delicious. I wish I could have tried more than the egg rolls and the beef buns but we're driving so needed easy hand foods. The food is always ready fast, whether preordered on the phone or ordering on arrival. Service can be so-so depending on who is helping you out. It can look closed from the outside but it was our saving grace on Labor Day. After unsuccessfully attempting to eat at *8* separate spots that had their hours online incorrect- we figured we'd give it a shot or Jack in the Box it was- and they were not only open, but the lady at the front was very accommodating and working hard! She even gave us a side of steamed rice on the side - no charge! Occasionally there can be a wait- it really just depends on how many Truck drivers stopped in. You can always call ahead and pick up. They're looking to get their delivery service back up and running and I will be very happy about that if/when it happens! Order from the menu and wait a few extra minutes compared to ordering premade items at the counter. My opinion is there isn't enough walk in customers to have items freshly made. Plenty of parking. Lots of room inside. Can get busy which will add to your wait but I think it's worth it. Seafood items are very nicely priced. Portions are definitely larger than expected for the price. Wide range of items to choose from but warning.... If the cook isn't in, some items are not available. Potential to be great business with all the fwy traffic especially from weekend travelers.
