Ok, so I tried again. This time I used DoorDash to get food. I have some allergen issues so I actually called the restaurant BEFORE I pushed the order button on DoorDash. I spoke to the young man, I told him I'm allergic to shrimp, please no shrimp in the house special lo mein. Extra chicken or pork instead is fine, but no shrimp. I told him that at least three times and each time he acknowledged No Shrimp. I said ok I'm gonna place the order with DoorDash and I also included No shrimp please in the "special instructions ". still to my surprise when the food is delivered there are shrimp. Shrimp in both orders. So I call to complain. Granted I could have got in my car and drove there to complain in person, but I used DoorDash so I could stay home and relax after a very tiring day. Anyway on the phone they tell me they would give me a free meal next time I come in. And as nice as that is, that doesn't help me tonight with no dinner to eat. I can't simply take out the shrimp and eat it, unless Im planning on spending a few nights in the emergency room with an anaphylactic reaction. I'm sooooo disappointed in China Sky. I've been going there 10 years and although it was never "amazing", they were at least competent. Uber Eats delivered me somebody else's order. I came back up there with their order instead of calling customer support. The lady refused to give me back my order. UPDATE 7/8/2024: I picked up another order. When I approached the door, that same mean woman turned her back to me as if she wasn't going to assist me. The other workers even laughed at that. She truly has demons living alive and well inside of her. She is very mean and ugly. Her humbling will soon come. But when "other" customers (including myself) walked up to the counter, she spoke to them cold and rude. The people who work here and own this restaurant are racist like hell. I've been here twice and both times I was ready for a let down but it was consistently good! I've only had the General Tsos but I'm a fan! The sauce is great and it's crunchy with good sized chicken pieces. The fried rice has nice sized pieces of pork in it. Is it the best I've ever had? No. Is it the cheapest? No again but is it pretty darn good and affordable? Yes! There is efficient service and it's a take out place so ambiance follows suit. I wish they would upload more pics as I've asked them to so I can see the other meals as I'm a visual person. It's really close to my house so it's my new Chinese go to! read more

I have lived in my Loxahatchee home since I built it in 1995. Ever since China Sky opened, over 20 years I believe, I have been ordering from them. The food is large portions, fairly priced and ALWAYS CORRECT. I have never picked up an order there and get home to find something amiss. I can honestly say, of all the restraints in our area, all of them accept China Sky and messed up and order on more than one occasion for me. The staff is always friendly, I have watched their children grow up since the days there were doing their elementary school homework at one of the tables. This is a great place with great variety and they are always willing to make you something special if you want. read more

This place is great I have been ordering takeout from them in Loxahatchee for many years. The food is always steaming hot, the portions are large and ready in "10 minute" Unfortunately like most things these days the prices have gone way up! It was never cheap to order dinner from China Sky in the first place To feed my family of 3 was close to $40 but the quantity and quality of the food made the price tolerable. Recently though we ordered our usual 3 combination dinners and 1 shared appetizer and it cost over $60. I can't justify paying that much for Chinese takeout even if the food is good. Rudest woman ever at this location. Seems she is an owner and is very very rude to some customers, and especially delivery drivers picking up food orders. Other reviews saying about her rudeness are true as I was treated the same with rude tone, pointing at me, turning her back and completely ignoring me while taking other peoples orders who came later. Giving a 5 star review because I feel like the food quality has improved since my husband and I last ate here. We only ordered 1 dish to share to go but it was pretty much perfect. Sweet n sour chicken with pork fried rice and an eggroll. We devoured the dish. A good amount of chicken to breading ratio, generous portion of sauce, flavorful rice with big chunks of pork, bigger than I see at most chinese places, not huge but not tiny. Everything was nice and crispy. Eggroll was crispy as well. Quick service, less than 10 min after we ordered on the phone it was ready. I've eaten here a few times over the years as we live close by and I have not had a bad experience so far. If you are craving chinese food it's a good quick spot to pick up from. Really not a bad Chinese takeout place. We've ordered food here quite a few times and like all Chinese take out sometimes it's better than others. it's fairly consistent on what you get. I think we always order the same things, Usually general Taos chicken and chop Suey. The general Taos chicken is a little bit spicy which is the way we like it. And the chop Suey is very bland. Our chop Suey away always comes with chicken and we like to put soy sauce all over it. We also get egg rolls every time we go, and if I have one complaint it's that I forget to get Chinese hot mustard. I always order it, and tell them to put a side order of hot mustard but they forget to put it in the bag all the time. I think I would recommend this one for everybody read more

I used to come here a lot after school (6-7 years ago) when I was a senior with my best friend at the time so I might be a tad bit biased. Every time I come, they're always busy and a week ago, I had some really terrible sesame chicken from some asian restaurant that made me craaave a good one. From my memory, this place was always reliable on taste. No matter what I used to get here it was always so good. Probably the best chinese takeout I've ever tasted. So yesterday, I decided to come back after YEARS of not coming here. I ordered crab rangoons which I remember used to be heavenly from here. I also ordered the dinner sesame chicken. The crab rangoons were exactly what I remembered it to be. So delicious and perfect. The flavor is on point, the crunchiness of the wrapper is so amazingly cooked that it bites the right way. It made me feel all happy and secure. Exaggerating, I know. But it's just that good to me. The sesame chicken meal came with pork fried rice and some some pieces of broccoli, I assume for color. It also came with a veggie springroll. The sesame chicken was so good. It was what I was craving for this whole week. It was crunchy and saucy but not too over powering. The rice was a bit dry but with the chicken, it was perfect. No chewy bits either. Even though it was made of dark meat, there were no tendons that I bit into or anything. I loved it so much even though I was full, I kept eating it. Then I saved the rest which I just had for dinner today. The whole meal didn't even set me back far. Less than 20 dollars for 10 large crab rangoons and a large micro of deliciousness. So I bet at this point, you're wondering where the 3 stars came from. I love this place so much I should give it 5 right? Well, I'm a firm believer of good customer service, just because your food is good and everyone orders all the time doesnt give a right to be rude. I remember even back then when I was a young and shy, anxiety ridden teenager, the front desk lady's attitude made me feel put off. I always felt a bit terrible about myself after she serviced me. Even yesterday, she didn't say much to me but it felt so off putting and even as I sat there waiting for my food, people would call in an order and the way she talked to them was so rude. The chicken was not cooked in any sauce and looked like mini corn dogs that came out of a frozen 50lb bag. The sweet & sour sauce was on the side and seemed like a mixture of ketchup, high fructose corn syrup and neon gelatin with a fake piece of pineapple. In my opinion, the prices are a little high for takeout but I live down the road, and this place is good in a pinch, but only for the basics. I get vegetables in brown sauce and thats about it. I like the brown sauce a lot, and the dumplings are very good, but everything else is just meh...My stepdad got the shrimp in lobster sauce and did not like it. So we will go there for lo-mein, and veggies in brown sauce and dumplings but thats about it. Overall, not that great, but the things I like, I really like. read more

Most of the staff is decently friendly, but there's one lady who works the front counter during the week days that is the rudest woman I've ever met. Regardless of the taste of the food, it's not worth having to deal with her terrible customer service. Normally I'd chuck it up to her having a bad day, but I've dealt with her on multiple occasions and she is just plain rude every single time.
