One of my favorite Asian dishes is the Singapore Noodles (Chow Mei Fun). I've been looking in the area for some. On a particular foodie facebook page for Wilmington, someone suggested this place, so I decided to try it out. There are only 6 tables and based on the looks of the place, most people do take out. While I enjoyed the dish, it was nothing close to what I've had before, which typically includes char siu, sesame oil, curry powder to give it that beautiful golden color and a hint of heat/flavor, and large shrimp. The shrimp in my dish were very small. There wasn't much cabbage. The woman at the counter was very friendly and I thought the prices were very reasonable for the portion. Will I return again? Sure. What I had was good, just not a true Singapore noodle dish. read more

If you live on the island or are visiting, hands down this place has the best egg rolls, so it is always a big hit with us. My goto items everytime include sesame chicken or general tsos, pork lo mein, and usually a beef dish (we usually switch it up). Last time we also got the chicken wings and they were sooo good and the hot and sour soup which was also yummy! The staff is great. You can order easily online for delivery or pickup. read more

First and last time. My son ordered 4 meals by accident. We arrived 2 mins after ordering. Asked we only wanted 3 because we ordered wrong. Lady said for was already ready and had a bad attitude rolled her eyes which was so disrespectful. I ordered online for delivery. I will not make this mistake again. Seafood lomein was nasty and had several shrimp all dried as if cooked several times. Shrimp rolls had 1 tiny pieces of shrimp in. Boneless ribs were so dried out. nothing redeeming about the food. I would even give a 1 star rating. read more

We ordered takeout. It was excellent. The wonton soup was great and the 3 dinners we ordered were better than most Chinese take out dinners I've ever had (and I've had a lot!). Prices were reasonable and staff who took our order was friendly. I recommend the pepper steak and onions; Bourbon chicken; and pork lomein. This restaurant is a new go to for my entire family! They never fail to get everything in our order right, which is a feat in itself considering there's 11 family members and lots of add-ons and changes each time! This has to be the best Chinese food we have ever had - which is amazing considering we have lived in 6 different states, including the large cities of Boston, Chicago, and NYC, and have had tons of different Chinese restaurants in each. When ever they have any questions, since we order online, they call us immediately to make sure they have the order right. They never fail to deliver an amazing meal! I just ordered tonight. Crab rangoons were way over salted. The red dipping sauce was strange. The hot and sour soup was slightly below average but did not come with the crispy soup noodles. I ordered the chicken with garlic sauce. It wasn't spicy at all, somewhat salty and a little sweet. It's the first time I've had sweet garlic sauce. Long story short, I will not be ordering from here again. I've lived in Wilmington since 1997 and this is one ranks as one of the worst Chinese food places I've experienced. They always have the BEST food, hands down. It's always fresh and hot made to order!! Delivery says they will be long each time I call, but it is never long as they say. They say give or take 45 minutes, but normally I get it within 15 minutes. And it's so hot I have to let it cool down before evening being able to take out of bag!! Love this place and the drivers I have had. A female normally delivers and she's always the sweetest. Great customer service on her end..But hands down great food!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered to go chicken lomein and instead I got shrimp lomein. I called back later when I went to eat it and explained I was extremely allergic to shellfish. I was told by the mgr to bring it back in and she would fix it. I explained that I couldn't even touch the bag again, on chance of contamination. I offered to take a picture of it. She yelled ...you make it sound like it's life or death!!!! Ordered several dinners and asked for brown rice. Received the dinners all with fried rice. As a vegetarian, I cannot eat the pork fried rice that they gave. I called to ask about the brown rice, and she said "we don't have brown rice. We give pork fried rice instead". I told her I needed them exchanged. Actually really good Chinese!! I did make the mistake of stopping in though. The place was very busy and there were 12-15 slips from people who ordered prior to. Even though I was physically there, my slip did not get put before the others who weren't but I had to respect that although I did wait for an hour which I've never waited that long for Chinese take out. This is the 1st time I ordered from them tonight, and the man on the phone taking my order was VERY VERY irritable and inpatient, getting annoyed every time I asked a question to him. Then I tried to give him a pre-paid Visa card that expires in 2015, and he said he couldn't take it because "his computer doesn't let him go to that year"...
