    Peking chicken

Not even a full day of travel and an empty stomach could make this food taste good. I'm sorry. Seriously some of the worst Chinese food I've ever had. We ordered Peking chicken and beef in garlic sauce. Peking chicken was not flavorful at all. The chicken was hard! It was a big chunk of dry overcooked meat in super red sweet sour sauce. The beef dish was marginally better. Again not too flavorful and barely any garlic. The veggies were over cooked and mushy and the broccoli had a strange vinegary taste. This meal gave me a stomachache! Overall very disappointing experience.

See, I don't think it should matter when I made the review, it should matter that your place has roaches crawling around and the food literally gave my family food poisoning from the meat you guys served. I was too young to even make a review when this happened, till I remembered about this incident about 9 months ago. Hopefully you guys improved since the last time we've been there because that was honestly disgusting. Do better. :/

Chicken Noodle Soup - This was very delicious! I added soy sauce, Chili oil, and lime juice, and it was *Chefs kiss.*

Great place with friendly staff. I didn't have to wait long for my food. I ordered the Chicken Noodle Soup and it was very delicious! I added soy sauce, Chili oil, and lime juice, and it was *Chefs kiss.* Perfect for this cold November weather

Found this place en route to our Airbnb on day one at Yosemite. We were tired after a long car ride and brief first day at the park. As always, we looked up the yelp reviews and decided to give this place a shot based on the reviews from the past 3-4 months. The gentleman who took my order was helpful and the order was ready in about 20 minutes. The food was okay. It wasn't terrible but it was not outstanding either. A little pricey for what they offered and there is room for improvement. Adding more spices and seasonings would give the food more of a wow factor. My daughter and husband independently rated this meal a solid 3 out of 5 and I completely concur.

We had a hard time finding good vegan options in the area. Out of desperation we tried China Station. We got the veggie fried rice, the steamed Napa in garlic sauce, the veggie chow mein, and the curry fresh vegetables. After a long day of hiking in Yosemite, the food was so adequately delicious that I inhaled a lot of it that night. The downside was, stepping back... the fried rice did not have that wok hei taste, the chow mein had very little vegetables or flavor, and the curry had chicken. :( Even though the curry was listed in the vegetables section and i double checked my receipt. Unfortunately we only found out after we got home and past 8:30 closing time. Finally, they didn't serve us a side of white rice, as is supposed to be standard at every Chinese restaurant. What the heck! The only "good" things were the servings were larger than I've usually seen compared to other Chinese takeouts; but "good" is in quotes since the quality wasn't great. I would've rather had smaller sizes that were easier to get through. The interior of the restaurant seemed clean, spacious, and comfortable. The people were nice. Oh well.

UGHHHHHH Spent $60. for 4 items and it was all disgusting! Everything was so over cooked! Got shrimp with snow peas in black bean sauce. Couldn't see the sauce was black bean since it was GREEN and it didn't taste like it. Shrimp was so over cooked it was dry and the veggies also were so over cooked they were all mushy!. The noodles from the Chicken Chow Mein were also over cooked and was like a big lump of fat over cooked noodles with extremely dried out chicken. Not many veggies and there were very few of what was in there. Pot Stickers were also over cooked on one side and not cooked on the other side & did not taste good! Then there was the Orange Chicken Sauce was... OK but the chicken was so dried out it was like eating wood! Bottom line the food wasn't very edible at all and it was a waste of $60! It was all like it had been cooked more than once! We got it too go so the service was decent but if the food isn't edible then you're throwing away your hard earned money!

@locals: I know we've had a rough time with China Station in the past -- I'd not eaten here in over 5 years. But I heard a recent rumor that something changed dramatically for the better (unsure if it was new owners, new staff, new cooks, or what) and that I should give them another chance. I ordered 4 takeout dishes, and I was seriously IMPRESSED! Not only was the gentleman who took my order very sweet and attentive, but the food came out quickly. The flavor was balanced and tasty in every dish (no longer over-greasy and over-salted), it was all still steaming by the time I got home, and all of the vegetables were cooked perfectly! Not to mention the meat was incredibly tender. I will definitely be going back -- release the old negative reviews and give this restaurant another chance!

Easy pick up option. Food is always hot, tasty, and big portions plenty for left overs.

Came in and was told that it was not ready but it was! I sat there for 15 minutes with another gent who also was having issues. To think that my food was ready for pick up when I walked in, just infuriates me. Tables messy, expensive for what you get for a dinner, no steamed rice, soup. $18.95 for six pieces of shrimp, a few walnuts and pineapple chunks on a bed of lettuce. Sonora has several that are 100% better. I truly felt bad for the young lady working up front. She was overwhelmed and needing help.
