Jalapeño chicken and shrimp lunch special. Fresh and flavorful.

This is the best Chinese food I've eaten since moving to SATX. I enjoyed my meal; service was quick and my food was fresh. I will return to try other dishes.

China Town Stir fry with beef, chicken, shrimp, mixed Asian vegetables and a brown sauce.

New place near Fort Sam Houston and Terrell Hills. Nice environment, friendly staff, an extensive menu (including low calorie and vegetarian). The Kung Pow chicken was also great with just the right spice.

THIS PLACE IS REALLY GOOD! GREAT SERVICE AS WELL!…read more Food: 4/5 The food has a great taste! I really loved the galbi, it was a little sweet but very good. The Banchan aren't what I'm used to, I guess I wish there was more variety. No rice paper, no radish, no mac salad, no potato salad...we did order the fried dumplings- they were good. Service: 5/5 They're very kind and attentive! The small group of women who run this place are doing a phenomenal job. All around:4/5. The plates are a bit small (I am a light eater and still found them not very big for the price) not ridiculously small, but on the smaller side. I am also used to Koreatown - Los Angeles Korean food which I feel is a league of its own (lol) so it's definitely hard for me to like just any Korean food. All in all It's a little far and out of our way, but we will definitely come back. :)

There were 7 different banchan options, and some were great while others were just okay. The fish cake and kimchi cucumbers were good, but others like the kimchi and the bean sprouts could have used more flavor. As an entree, I ordered the spicy tofu soup, but I wish it was a little spicier! The soup also had a stronger seafood/fish taste compared to other tofu soups I've had, which I didn't expect. The service was just okay, not rude but also not excessively nice. I liked how cozy the inside felt with the dim lighting!

It was a jungle style curry (no coconut milk) and was definitely one of the best jungle style curries I have had. It had a very interesting and complex flavor. It was a bit pricey and the waitresses forgot we asked for vegetables and not just tofu but it was really delicious. We also got the sticky rice with taro wrapped in banana leaf dessert: Sticky rice soaked in coconut milk and sugar with taro wrapped in banana leaves, then steamed. It was so really delicious. The restaurant is located right near the excellent McNay Art Museum- fun outing together. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! I'm glad they had room for us but, it's still safe to make reservations. We did not know they are a tapas style restaurant, but that didn't deter us. Dumplings - 9/10 Gulf Shrimp & Noodles - 10/10 Blistered Green Beans - 10/10 Ramen - 9/10 Service was great. It's a casual atmosphere, but perfect for an intimate date night.

A bit messy to eat but I would get this again. Udon noodle with pork belly: noodles were kind of irregular in lengths. I really liked the sauce with it but it felt like it was missing something. Light dish. Tc double cheese burger: very strong flavors, somewhat sweet. Dense/heavy dish . Our waiter was quick and friendly. The restaurant lighting was dimmed and gave a more intimate /bar environment. I think the ac was broken here because it was very warm and they had fans going on around the room. I think this place would be good for someone who is prefers an American fusion cuisine that leans heavily on the western style dishes. The fusion elements were cute but I still left unsatisfied but still full. We did not park. We walked here right from the river walk. Not a bad place to go if you arrive in town after 9 pm.

Had lunch there today with co-workers and you can't beat their $11.99 lunch specials that include soup, entree, veggie spring roll, and steamed or fried rice. The lunch portions are still quite large, so I typically have leftovers. The interior has nice Thai decorations. It isn't a large restaurant and gets quite busy during lunch, so I recommend arriving before noon, especially if you have a larger group. My co-workers had the pork spring rolls as an appetizer, which they really enjoyed. We were served chicken and rice soup before our meals arrived. I had the green curry, which had generous portions of eggplant, veggies, and tofu in the creamy flavorful coconut sauce. My friends both had chicken pad Thai. As usual, everything was delicious. I have never eaten a dish here that I didn't like. The staff is always personable and quick to make sure you have what you need.
