If you have no taste due to having covid, then this is the place for you - the food was incredibly bland and had to add my own sauces at home once it arrived. The chicken lo mien was tasteless, no sauce or flavor, incredibly bland, beef and broccoli was tough and had to chew, as for the egg drop wonton soup, I NEVER have had to add anything to the soup before, but again it was incredibly bland and tasted of straight water. The food was great and they had lots of options (all great) and when you order takeout they give a very nice quality takeout bag that is insulated so the food stays hot until you eat it. Very good service the food is ready within ordering 10 minutes. Very big portions and it has the typical Asian restaurant feel but better. Quality has slipped to a new low. Food is bland, tasteless and not remotely authentic. Beef with Broccoli was bland and beef was fatty and very chewy. Pad Thai was way too spicy and cook used flour noodles vice rice noodles. Took that back. Having to put up with the 2 kids by the front door (a permanent fixture it seems) adds a chaotic atmosphere to the place even when just picking up an order. For Florida Chinese takeout food, this really does deserve 5 stars, especially in this area. I've tried maybe 6 or 7 different Chinese restaurants in this area over the years, and I always come back to this place bc it has the tastiest and best quality food. My go-to dishes are egg rolls, spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and pot stickers for apps, wonton/egg drop soup, and sesame chicken, general Tsos chicken, and house special fried rice. ONE OF THE WORST RESTAURANTS I'VE EVER ATE AT. I came to this restaurant because of all of the positive reviews on Yelp. Those reviews must have been from the owners/workers. I ordered an American type Chinese meal. Crab Ragoon - this was the only food that earned the one star. The cream inside was good. Couldn't eat much of the rest. It was hard, crusty, and cold. Beef Fried Rice - the worst. Rice was old and had clumbs of rice sticking together. It didn't appear to be sticky rice. It was hard and old. The beef (dog food) was tough and hard to chew. The onions were diced too large. The peas were not fresh and probably previously frozen as some of them were flat and others were ice cold. They did not have egg or bean sprout in this fried rice. Owners and cooks, you can find this recipe everywhere online. Chinese Biscuits were cold and greasy. Chicken wings-I did not eat any of them because the inside meat was discolored (a sign that they were rotten and spoiled). I didn't want to get sick. In a previous post, the writer stated that nickled and dime you trying to get as much as they possibly could. I was going to get a lunch combo, which consisted of pork fried rice, chicken wings eggroll, and a coke for $12.99. I asked if I could change the pork fried rice to beef fried rice as I don't eat pig. She stated I could, but it would cost more. I asked how much, and she looked stund that I asked that question and finally said it would cost $2.99 more. They are extremely over-priced. My order cost $24.99, and she asked me if I wanted to add a tip. You guys can quess what my answer was. DO not waste your time or money on this horrible over-priced food. The appetizer BBQ ribs order offers 4 huge ribs that will definitely have you licking your fingers. The restaurant is primarily a take out location, but there are four tables in case you want to dine in. There is no table service. You order and wait. Here's the one negative: If you plan on dining there, bring your own utensils or use the chop sticks. The fork and spoon they offer is small and made for children, not adults. Mongolian beef was too sweet, crab Rangoon was oddly sweet as well. Chow mein was just a quart of cabbage, onions, bean sprouts and chicken in slop. We didn't get the noodles and called the restaurant to tell them the noodles were missing. They told us that's what chow mein is--and the crispy noodles are the fried wonton strips-is we wanted a noodles dish, we should have ordered the lo mein. Best Absolute Best Chinese in town. Consistent quality and arrives piping hot since they have their own delivery. I have been ordering from this location of China Taste for years and have never had a bad experience. The bad reviews may be attributed to so many businesses/locations of the same name. They are closed on Mondays and we have made the mistake of trying other places but the taste is not even close to compare. Fresh ingredients not laden with salty sauces.
