Too much grease too much bread little pieces of chicken disappointment.

I ordered food for me and my family. The fried rice was good but the sweet & sour chicken is way too greasy and it has too much bread and little pieces of chicken. I felt like it was eating grease and bread.

Delivery and pick up always available... love this place

Always amazing food. I order from here 2/3x a month. Great specials and great service. The young kid who who answers the phone is so polite and very fast. The entire staff always does an amazing job...Definitely a great authentic spot. Support the locals

    "vegetable lo mein" with meat

I would give zero stars if I could. I vomited after eating some of the food. Despite requesting "veggie everything" due to not eating meat, there were small chunks of meat in my order. I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, but the only resolution offered was to return the food. This was very inconvenient as I had paid for delivery and did not drive there for the food. This poor customer service experience was limited to just one item. The issue could have been resolved but instead, poor Customer service was given.

The chicken tastes weird. Everyone needs a few locals last minute meal options for those days you neither want to go out to eat or cook. This place was near Publix. Of course after grocery shopping, I'm to tired to cook. I order from frozen food section and go in to pick up my order. Place looks neat and clean but customer service needs improvement. Although the kid (I'd be surprise if he was over 10) was super adorable, he noticeably was overwhelmed by the many customers waiting on heir food and those on the phone. A patron was actually inside trying to get food corrected that a delivery guy dropped off that completely wrong. Because of this it took a while for me to get to the kid. I was told it would be 15 minutes to get my food. Almost 30 minutes later and my food still isn't ready. I ordered honey garlic wings - wings - wings. The person on the phone (which truthfully didn't sound like a child) asked for clarification. I said I wanted wings with the same sauce as the honey garlic. I want a bone! I'm given the rubbery ish that's in the pic. That was already a star off. The portion sizes are a little smaller than other places in the area as well. But I was hungry and tried of being around people. I take it home and the chicken tastes weird. I mean it's chicken I hope. But it could have easily been plastic. This place won't be a repeat.

Beef and egg - completely dry.

This was the absolute worst Beef Egg Foo Young I have ever had. The meat looked as if it has been sitting out for hours. The meat did not taste like beef at all. I am so disappointed. This is by far the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever experienced. No stars is appropriate. Not freshly cooked and the meat tasted (the one piece I could chew) similar to Liver (and I like Liver) but worst! I am not sure what was delivered to me. I am highly disappointed.

Absolute obscene amount of salt and the egg rolls and the potstickers I'm sure it was just a bad day tell them late on the salt

China Wok is a great spot to pick up chinese take out on those lazy afternoons. Located on Sheridan inside the plaza by Publix, it is easy to find parking to this spot. The restaurant is clean, not sure about the restrooms since I have never used them, but judging by the looks they must be pretty decent. The staff is very helpful, they are happy to take your order and get cooking right away. Depending on how busy the place is, it usually takes between 10 and 20 minutes for your order to be made and packed. The food is delicious, China Wok has the best cream cheese wontons you can find in the area. I also recommend the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. These two dishes never disappoint, they are properly cooked, and the sauces used have great taste. When it comes to rice they are honestly the best I've ever had. I'm not sure what ingredients they use but it's nothing short from spectacular. Perfect for rainy Sunday watching netflix and putting on a pound or two. My recommendation is that you order the Youg Fried Rice, it has a bit of everything, cooked with white rice. Portions are very generous, the Jumbo can feed 7-8 people easily, large can feed 3-6. The only thing I think they can do better is with the delivery. If you live in a building, they won't go up to your apartment, you must come down to the lobby.

    Steamed Dumplings

The food is the typical Chinese takeout I have come to expect in South Florida-bad. Heavy sauces deluge the meat and veggies. Makes you wonder what the sauce is supposed to be covering up. Items we ordered: Steamed Dumplings Beef & Broccoli Bourbon Chicken Stir Fried Eggplant Special Fried Rice The beef was thin as paper (like "steak-um") The Dumplings were big and greasy. The rice was actually acceptable. Worst issue, however, was the time it took for delivery. We ordered at 5pm. They said it would take 45 minutes. It took 2 hours. We called twice to see where the food was. They said there was traffic. We could see right up A1A from my Mom's apartment....no traffic. I know it was a holiday (New Year's Day) and a football Sunday but there is no excuse for lying about the delivery time and making customers wait two hours.

Excellent dumplings! Definitely a must try. This place is great for a weekly stop-off and has various other dishes for a family style meal.

The Asian hand painted folding paper fans along the walls and the red Chinese New Year lanterns hanging from the ceiling added a nice touch to the subtle decor. We were sat immediately at a booth of our choice. The dining room was empty of customers with an eerie silence. The server greeted us with the standard duck sauce and golden crispy crackers and the traditional metal tea kettle and cups. I slurped down my wanton soup that had plump wanton and not salty thin broth. The General Tso Chicken with fried rice was a huge portion and tasty. The fried eggroll had a crisp outer shell and was dense with veggies, although it seemed more like an oversized spring roll than a traditional Chinese egg roll, but the superb taste overshadowed the petite size. As were eating, I still could not stop noticing that we were the only customers at lunchtime 12pm during the work week. I will take great food and attentive service any day over a loud packed dining room but could this be the end of a strong fifty-six year run to end the China Lane legacy? I sure hope not. As the bill arrived, I noticed a portion at the bottom with suggested tip percentages to merely place a checkmark in a box - not bad, just unique. The gender assigned bathroom was clean with a dominant red door and gray marble-like tile. The toilet rules written on the front of the tank made me chuckle and added some unexpected humor to a traditional Chinese restaurant (see pic and read).

I've been coming here for years! This restaurant is one of my favorite casual Chinese restaurants…read morein Hollywood. It's usually empty and many people order delivery or to go, but I always dine in the restaurant. Today our server was nice and very attentive, but one of the managers/owners was a bit rude. I asked if we could be seated near an outlet as I needed to keep my laptop on, and she said there were none. I found an outlet against a wall that was visible from our table and I went over to charge it. She went over and nearly unplugged it, but after realizing that there was no reason for me not to charge my device she let it go. Our food was made to order so it was delicious and nice and hot. We ordered the cream cheese rangoons to share and each ordered a combination platter which comes with with an egg roll, choice of soup, entree, white or pork fried rice and ice cream. We both opted for Wonton soup and pork fried rice but for the entrees, my friend ordered the chicken and broccoli which she did not enjoy much (we have had it in the past and it was good, but I guess they are inconsistent with their recipe), and I ordered the Szechuan chicken for the first time which I thought was delicious. In the end, we were both too full for ice cream and at first our server said we could switch it for an egg roll, but then after a while 5 minutes she came back and told us that the manager said no substitutions. I think it was because she was annoyed with me for charging my laptop against her wishes.. Overall I would give this visit 2.5 stars, but normally I would rate this place 3.5 or 4 stars because usually the food is great and the staff is nice... Today was an exception but I will still be back.

Heard about this place and wanted to try it's BBQ and roasted meats…read more We stopped by on a Thursday evening around 5. The eatery seats about 40 and is clean and simply decorated. It was empty. But it slowly got more diners, with about 5 tables filled before we left. Service was fine but the waitress who took our order barely spoke English and it was difficult getting answers about items on the menu. Nevertheless, we ordered pan-fried dumplings, the three meat combo plate with roast duck, BBQ roast pork, and crispy pork. We also got a seafood platter with salt and pepper shrimp, squid, and scallops. The latter didn't have much taste. We couldn't even taste any salt and pepper. The dish came on a bed of shredded raw cabbage. There was no rice. When I asked, the server (a different one from the woman who took our order) brought us a small bowl. They had forgotten to put the rice on the plate. (The dish is advertised as being served on a bed of rice.) The meat platter was decent. Although the duck skin needed to be crispier, the pork skin was very crispy. The BBQ roast pork was tasty, boasting a nice char siu flavor. The few strands of Chinese broccoli that was served with the dish was cold, as if it was added from the refrigerator. We enjoyed the pan-fried dumplings. They seemed to be homemade. One appetizer, two entrees, tax, and tip was $66.
