I get delivery from this place at least every other week. Actually, I have never set foot in the actual restaurant. I always order from here because the phone ordering process (with the funny lady who answers the phone) is simple and the food always gets to me very quickly (often under 30 minutes). Food-wise, it's standard fare from a Chinese Restaurant. Not amazing, not bad. One little thing: I wish they would put the cut up pieces of green/red pepper, pineapple chunks, etc. in the Sweet and Sour sauce. I'm not a fan of Americanized "Chinese" food but I was hungry and had a lot of time to kill. Interior was the typical Chinese restaurant, dark and lined with booths. I chose the buffet, $10.99. I feared excess salt and oil, none of the items met that fear. I tried a few items, searching the heavy salt and didn't find it. That's why this gets a three. I tried the green beans, General Tsao's chicken, fried rice, lo mein, chicken with veg and the wonton soup. Again-no indication of oiliness on my plate. We just ordered orange chicken meal, the rice is beyond overcook it taste old. The orange chicken was beyond dry and chewy, it just tastes awful. I also ordered the Chicken lo mein,there was barely any chicken in the meal. I have been purchasing food from this restaurant for the last four years and today was the first time we had an issue. I spoke to the owner, she refuses to give me a refund because she wants proof that we are not lying, she rather give me a store credit which I refused. After this experience who wants to go back.? Customer since 2001. I will never ever order from there again.. I order white rice... for $2 and some change... I left her $5. She had to audacity to call me back into the store, and accuse me of giving her a fake $5 because it felt different! I love Chinese Food, I eat Chinese food almost every week but I have never taste food like this before, their wonton soup tasted really good until I ate the wonton, it tasted like it came from a can, same goes for the pork, the shrimp was ok, but I had never had this experience on the past you can taste that is was taken from a bag or from a can I actually visualized the can while eating their food not good feeling at all. I did not get sick or anything the food was not bad but you can tell that they open a couple of cans to prepare your food. Not fresh at all. Every time I've ordered here, the food has always been fresh and delicious! Seriously though. I've dined at many different Chinese restaurants and Peking House has become one of my favorites easily with their Crab Rangoon. They are very quick for delivery and I'm very thankfull that during Covid they have been following all safety precautions when delivering or while inside the restaurant. It is close to just another regular chinese take out place except for a few key points. The portions are rather large and they stay large even with the specials. They have the driest rice. Expect your fried rice to only consist of rice and whatever meat you chose, no onions, bean sprouts, carrots, peas or anything. And they pile that crap onto your plate. They are by far one of the worst in Homestead. read more

I found hair in the food. Not only that but they made me wait another 20 mins for 2 egg rolls that they got hair on. They served me the wrong food that I ordered. When I spoke to the manager about this she offered to charge me the correct order. Every time I come here there's a problem. This is the third time I come and every time I get served the wrong food. Since I moved down to Homestead in 2010, this has been my go to spot. Up until recently though. They used to be great but lately delivery is taking forever, when I order something and want extra added they never seem to do so, their rice is hard at times and their ham in the friend rice is not all that pleasant. Their pricing is reasonable, I usually ordered a bucket for the family which is about $17 and maybe some wonton soup every now and then. This establishment is absolutely disgusting. I decided to go eat lunch because I heard they had a buffet. What I got was nothing but cold food and when I told the staff members i was assured they would replace the cold meats with hot meat.i mean really if i wanted food food i would have gotten sushi. One of the staff members was completely vile and rude needless to say he had replaced the hot food and he placed it under the cold food waiting for the cold food to run out so then other people who are paying can eat the cold meat first.
