I only go here for the seafood. Shrimp, crab, mussel, clams octopus etc. I'm always eating like there's no tomorrow. I came with an Asian tour bus group on route to Vegas and this was one of the lunch spots to and back from the trip. We came on 12/26 Sunday and again on 1/1. Seems like they made a deal with the tour company since the guide wanted to come each time we passed through. Service - 1/5 It's a family owned business and they were pretty short-staffed for a large restaurant - they had a kid handle the front desk for payment. I don't think they knew how to handle a large amount of people (~30) coming at once even though they seem to be getting tour bus business regularly. Waiter and Waitresses seem to purposely ignore the bus patrons even though we pay the same and eat in regular family group sizes (2-4). I had to fetch my own eating utensils and soda. Food - 2/5 Your typical chinese buffet with an assortment of different chinese hot food. They have a sushi bar which serve questionable shredded and off-colored fish. They do offer decent seafood for lunch menu: crab legs, cold mussles, crawfish, and sometimes oysters if you are lucky that they refill it. Verdict Unless you are kinda forced to eat here with a tour bus group, I'd prefer to better spend my $13, maybe even at the Taco Bell across the street. read more

Me and my family love going here. There's a lot of different food. I like seafood the most, so I go for that. It's a buffet..cheap, like $10. Crab legs, shrimp, oyster, prawns, muscles, scallops! I have been here a half dozen times in a couple of years with groups of people from my job. We come in there with ten to twelve people. It is a good buffet with a good selection. The problem with this place is that it is much too small. It wall be crazy crowded and then in rolls two tour busses, with another 60 to 80 customers. Everyone is milling about in each other's way. And it SUCKS! You can't even get around without bumping into and going thru people who do not have a clue what you are saying when "excuse me" is said. Seriously, I bet the fire marshal would freak out if he was here between 11:30 and 1:00. There would be no way to safely get everyone out in an emergency. I will not be back with my group, last Friday was IT FOR ME! We were seated outside and it was 95 degrees outside, and it took a long time to get drinks. The management here needs to expand which is probably not going to happen, or turn the busses away, and that won't happen either. In all fairness, management knocked 10% off the bill, we did not complain, but the management knew our experience was not what we had in mind when we headed over. Its not bad. typical buffet...My family and I have been coming here for years, its my chidrens' preferred buffet, mainly because of the sushi. In fact when I bring my 2 year old nephew the sushi is the main thing he eats. Pros-- Busy so the food is almost always fresh Good selection of seafood choices Paper-wrapped chicken Sushi (especially when they have the rolls with the seaweed salad in them which is inconsistent) The service- always good even when busy- some friendlier than others but generally very good. Cons- Inconsistent--sometimes certain food are extremely spicy and other times the same dish is not and its rarely labelled as spicy. Example- the potsticker sauce sometimes its the perfect sauce and other times its been so spicy it cleared my sinuses and made my eyes water....same for the mushroom chicken, and the stuffed crab. Again inconsistent- They have some of the best salt and pepper shrimp-if you get it when it has been cooked right, if the restaurant is really busy and they are trying to rush it out (which happens often) its sort of gummy/soggy and tasteless. Again Inconsistent- the crab is usually good but sometimes the cook adds salt when they boil it and its so salty is nearly inedible...also sometimes has an eggy flavor which is downright strange.. The sushi chef ---if she is not busy she will stare and glare at you the whole time your choosing and if you pick one out of sequence (like if its misshapen or such) she gets downright huffy... read more

First off let me describe when we first walked in. I want to tell you this place is clean!... I mean even the stainless shone in there. The wait staff is pleasant and very attentive. Price was reasonable to boot..Now the bad part.. I wasnt really to impressed with the food. Lots of it was bought and heated up. My family and I were craving Chinese food and sushi for Sunday dinner last night, so we decided to give this place another try. Let's just say, we will never go back! The food was not fresh. I was in town with my family last night. We had a long drive we were all hungry and decided to stop by. There weren't a lot of people except for like six plus the employees. The food looked good but unfortunately there was a LIFE FLY on an oyster my husbands was eating. We called one of the workers there and told them that we had found a fly and they said was sorry. How could you just possibly say sorry for find a fly on food. That is really disgusting. On top of that they wanted us to pay full price for what he had eaten. After what we just had experience I was not going to pay full price. I DO NOT recommend this place. It makes me wonder now if they do have a clean atmosphere. It's adequate. There is nothing special about the buffet. Standard Americanized Chinese buffet. Mostly chicken dishes and lots of fried things. The pork and beef dishes were heavy on the vegetable components which was fine by me. The spicy dishes were actually spicy, so that was nice. Sushi was atrocious. Don't bother with that part. I also skipped the deserts since there was nothing new. Service was attentive enough and quick to respond to requests. Overall it was fine and conveniently in the parking lot of the hotel. If you want Chinese buffet, head a few blocks down the road and go to China Palace, much higher quality food and better variety as far as Chinese goes. If your family is feuding and can't decide between American cuisine and Chinese and both sides are willing to forgo quality, China Town Buffet is your place. Personally, I'd rather hit up China Palace or Hometown Buffet/Golden Coral, because China Town Buffet is a very mediocre middle ground. read more

Went there for dinner tonight with a few people from work having a nice time until a bug came out of the foil wrapped chicken on my friend's plate notified the manager and he told us that we wouldn't get a discount that we had to all pay full price for are meal we told him that we were going to report this so he gave my friend his meal for free and told us we had to pay for the rest of are meals and not to come back like we where trying to run a scam or something then they couldn't work the credit card machine properly so we ended up paying with cash they where rude and unprofessional I thought they where gonna charge us extra for the bug being in are food first time at this one and my last and yes they where reported to the kernel county health department for a health violation read more

Well I really come here for the food, I like the variety of food they have. The cream cheese won tons are my favorite. Of course the service is not that great, but I'm just ther for the food. I go at down times from 2 to 5, so I can get attention if I need it. Overall it's one of my favorite buffets here in town. If I could give negative stars I would! Not only is the food mediocre but the service is the worst I have ever had!!! It's not even that busy and I'm at the crab area getting just a couple pieces and I don't see a cracker. I ask a server who was walking on the way to the kitchen for a cracker and she just tells me to ask a server and keeps walking. Frustrated, I sit down and wait for a server to come by. 15 minutes and no one. I finally catch on walking by and ask her for a cracker. This all you can eat buffet is the cleanest place in town. The food is good, but the number one thing its employees are told to do is clean, clean , clean! It's my second time here and I highly recommend this place! The chicken on a stick is great and their spicy chicken is great. The have a very good shrimp and crab bar. read more

We were basically kicked out because they were closing. it was 9:00 and the waitress kept reaching over the table while we were eating just to restock so they can leave. That's not the worst part one of the workers kept looking at us while we were eating and then she told us they close at 10, we asked what time is it and she lied and told us it was 9:45 but when we got in to our car it as barely 9:37.
