Orange chicken is delicious reminds me so much of LA Chinese food it's glazed and the beef and broccoli is so tender and yummy rice and chow mein are a plus

This place is great. The tradition of kongs hits arvin. The hot table buffet has fried rice, chow mein, with many main dishes. You can also order from the menu too. This is a must visit when in Arvin. The owner Kelly is awesome.

China Panda absolutely exceeded our expectations! The General Tso's Chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sweetness and spice, and my kids loved it so much they couldn't stop eating it! The Beef Chow Fun had amazing flavor with tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles. The Wonton Soup was fresh, comforting, and packed with flavor, while the Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables was cooked perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh. I honestly wish this place was in the Bay Area because I'd be eating here all the time. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. Highly recommend--can't wait to come back!

We were in Solvang and were craving Asian food. This restaurant was one of the only Asian places in…read morethe area. We decided to take a bet and try it out and was pleasantly surprised by how authentic and great the food tasted. We ordered mapo tofu medium spice and beef stir fry with onions. All entrees came with white rice. Rice was cooked well. Mapo tofu had bit of mala spice and it was so good! It had good salty, spicy flavor that I liked. It also came with pork and you can choose to put meat on it or not. The beef stir fry had really good flavor and matched well with rice. We ended up finishing everything and we were very content with our dinner. The service was great, and the food came very fast. There was actually only one other guest party other than us. We assume it's because it's weekday and not many people are in the area. I hope more people check this place out. The only thing is the price is overpriced for the food but food quality and authenticity is very good!

I've lost track of how many Thai restaurants I've eaten at during my work travels, and it still…read moreamazes me that one of my favorites is tucked away in little Tehachapi. Whether it's the rich, creamy curries, the incredible soups, perfectly balanced Pad Thai, or just about anything else on the menu, I've yet to have a meal that disappointed. Every dish tastes like someone actually cares about what's coming out of the kitchen--which, unfortunately, isn't something you can say about every restaurant these days. The flavors are bold without being overwhelming, the ingredients are fresh, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. It's the kind of place where you tell yourself you'll try something new... and then end up ordering your favorite because it's just that good. Thai Hachapi is proof that you don't have to drive to Los Angeles to find outstanding Thai food. Sometimes the best meals are hiding in plain sight. If you're in Tehachapi and craving Thai, don't overthink it. Just go. Your taste buds will be doing the wai while you're still asking for a to-go box.

The restaurant was overwhelmed by a very large party and the service of other parties severely suffered. There was barely any checking in with other tables as the larger party was served by all the staff. I couldn't even get a refill on water the entire time of my very long stay due to patiently waiting for my order to come out. The Mongolian beef was underwhelming and I won't return to this place on my next visit to Tehachapi.
