Good customer service but food was not good. Chicken tasted like metal, chowmein was hard, rice was alright

Orange chicken is delicious reminds me so much of LA Chinese food it's glazed and the beef and broccoli is so tender and yummy rice and chow mein are a plus

Combos are loaded with flavortown food

This place is great. The tradition of kongs hits arvin. The hot table buffet has fried rice, chow mein, with many main dishes. You can also order from the menu too. This is a must visit when in Arvin. The owner Kelly is awesome.

I came here last minute since madam Lu is gone. I loved their crispy fried rice soup. So when I…read moreentered "crispy fried rice soup" in yelp I saw this place Ambiance is casual and the staff is very hospitable and not intimidating- I read what that "elite" reviewer wrote- she may have a case of long haul COVID where her sense of taste is a bit off. Complaining about details of sour? Girl that's just tongue being superior to your smell response lol I ordered a similar plate of the trinity meat dish and I loved it. MSG has been debunked for years now, read more girl so o don't have to read you here on yelp lol this is a persons business, mincing words like the way they did was very irresponsible as a community member Anyways I loved this place. - I ordered the same meat dish in their lunch kung poa special I paid 11.95 I think pre tax? With a meal I wiped clean lol I mean hello "the zucchini was sour" "the shrimp was ugh" that's a lot of audacity - sounds like she is on another planet- I did not notice anything like she described - I tend to eat my plate mixing the items for the story of food to collide. Sounds like she was taste testing each individual piece- lol girl that's a personal thing abiut yiur personality - regular people like me eat our food passionately hungry lol Everything was delicious- comforting and the spice content perfect. I'm going back again and bringing my family The soda comes in a can and glass with ice- just how I like it

Cozy old school interior with friendly staff…read more I ordered the Triple Delight lunch special. The serving size was generous. Very Americanized food with heavy use of MSG. Beef was unfortunately inedible, shrimp was average and chicken was okay but tasted like warmed up chicken so not the best. Veggies were okay though the zucchini tasted a bit sour. Rice side was okay and egg roll was okay. Fried wonton was tasty. Soup was okay. Overall, I have had much better quality lunch specials at Chinese restaurants. Food was a bit below average in taste and quality. The lunch special price was cheaper than average for California. There were Chinese customers dining and I noticed they were not getting the lunch special. I was only given the lunch special menu so I guess they assume that if you are not Chinese you are going to order the lunch special?

We were in Solvang and were craving Asian food. This restaurant was one of the only Asian places in…read morethe area. We decided to take a bet and try it out and was pleasantly surprised by how authentic and great the food tasted. We ordered mapo tofu medium spice and beef stir fry with onions. All entrees came with white rice. Rice was cooked well. Mapo tofu had bit of mala spice and it was so good! It had good salty, spicy flavor that I liked. It also came with pork and you can choose to put meat on it or not. The beef stir fry had really good flavor and matched well with rice. We ended up finishing everything and we were very content with our dinner. The service was great, and the food came very fast. There was actually only one other guest party other than us. We assume it's because it's weekday and not many people are in the area. I hope more people check this place out. The only thing is the price is overpriced for the food but food quality and authenticity is very good!

The food was pretty good for being the only Chinese restaurant in all of Santa Ynez Valley (if you…read moredon't count Panda Express). The PoPo Platter (aka PuPu Platter) had the paper wrapped chicken replaced by beef skewers. The Egg Drop Soup we ordered included seaweed was the small order, and it can feed 5 easily. Water Boiled Fish was one of a few Sichuanese offerings on the menu, and it looked and tasted close to the authentic version. Of course, I had to have my Kung Pao Chicken. And we rounded out the meal with Assorted Pan Fried Noodles. Enjoyed having the meal here as a service was very good as well. Mind stopping here during my next wine tasting trip in the area.
