Overall, a solid spot with good sandwiches and friendly service.

I chose the cucumber salad. The pastrami sandwich was huge. It was packed with a lot of high quality, tender pastrami meat. The plate also comes with a side of pickles, so yes, I was full afterwards. My coffee cup was always filled, tasted good, and hot. The two staff that were waiting on all the tables were friendly and efficient. There was never a moment I felt neglected. Located in a tiny strip with a shared parking lot next to KFC, it has only a few tables inside, giving it a cozy feel. The lady behind the counter is incredibly friendly and nice. For a fast-food-style Chinese spot, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the two-entree combo plate with chow mein, BBQ pork, and orange chicken, and the portions were generous. The chow mein had chunks of chicken and fresh veggies, the BBQ pork was tender, juicy, and had nice charred flavor, and the orange chicken was soft on the inside with a flavorful, crispy coating. I have been a loyal customer of Chinese Deli for over 30 years, but after my recent experience, I will not be returning. The customer service was absolutely horrible. The servers were clueless and had no idea how to assist customers. They were unresponsive and seemed completely disinterested in helping. It's disappointing to see how much the service quality has declined over the years. Today was the final straw. I can't continue to support an establishment that treats its customers so poorly. I've been coming here since I was a kid mowing lawns to get enough money to buy a two item plate. The food is phenomenal as the BBQ pork, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, curry chicken and so on are great. I now live in Wilmington, but make the short drive to get Chinese here with my family. I highly recommend eating here. read more

One family was dining in and there is one long table and two other separate tables so I would not plan on dining in (just take out). I was not worried about the food quality cause as they say, hole in the walls have the best food! So I placed my order at 11:29am & it was supposed to be ready by 11:43am; however, it was not ready until 11:55am. I got a lil nervous due to where I parked (at the gas station) so I noticed a couple of open spots in their congested parking lot and immediately moved my car. Magic happened upon my return: my food was ready! I ordered the kung pao chicken with steamed rice (brown or fried is 1.00 more). I also added on the hot and sour soup, egg roll, and fried wonton for 1.99 more. With tax, my order came to 20 bucks and some change. For the portion size, it equated to two meals for just the kung pao chicken (not the rice nor apps). As for flavor, I ordered medium on the heat level and it was not spicy and it was good but lacking a bit on flavor. The owner who served my takeout was very nice but you could tell she was a bit busy manning to go orders. Not opposed to trying this place again, but the parking situation is a major stress fest.

They're generous with the amount of shrimp, and flavor was on point, so I'll give them that. PADSEEW NOODLES: Bestie's pick. I had gotten so full from the other three dishes and had no room for it, but Bestie really liked it. FOOD: 4. Everything was cooked to order. SERVICE: 5. VALUE: 4. PARKING: Huge parking lot shared with others. Not an issue. OVERALL: 4.5. Sent the link to Hubbers who put in his own order for us to take home. He, too, enjoyed his grub. Amazing food! The dishes are very unique…read more The fish soup was yummy. I didnt ordee it so I had no idea what I was eating. For Thai Rama at this location, I had ordered thru door dash I rode my bike or bus for their food. I had not try other location but this one I do recommend whole heartedly.
