I ordered their most popular sandwich, the number one of the menu but to be honest, I think I may have been too hyped up. The sandwich was just okay, not bad, but also not as special as I expected. If I had to rate it, I'd give it about a three out of five. Maybe it was just that day, or maybe I was expecting too much, but I also noticed the price was a bit steep. It's smaller than I imagined for an Italian market. They have a number of items but not some that I'm used to seeing. Their deli counter was also pretty small. They only had one pasta salad and a few other dishes. I will give them some credit on their cannolis. They looked really big and I'm sure they were delicious. I went in and ordered my girlfriend and I a sandwich each. I was more than surprised by how much they actually cost. I figured this would be the one time I would spend this much money for sandwiches because they are using plenty of fresh ingredients and probably make their bread from scratch. After opening up our sandwiches, we noticed that the bread was indeed fresh and quite rustic. It was stacked with all the ingredients necessary for a great sandwich and tasted very good. I was excited to try the Deli near me. With great reviews i had high hopes. Pros: The customer service was ok. The sandwich was good. Cons: I was offered the special and it was $19.99. No chips or drink includes for the price. That does not sound like a special. The reason i give it a low revies is because my receipt had an additional "Admin Fee" 2.5%. The tablet then ask for 15%, 20%, 25% tip. I tip cash because the guy was helpful. Hidden fees is a "NO" for me. I will not return for that reason. read more

I hardly ever get to see some of the businesses around Belmont Shore on 2nd St. because we usually walk around late at night. I scoped it out & looked around. They serve up Italian inspired sandwiches, noted olives & artichokes on the deli case, what looks to be freshly made pastas in the fridge, breads & other merchandise. It's a fairly small deli & it looks promising. I'm not much of a sandwich type of person but am willing to try it sometime. Having had delicious & filling Lebanese food just recently....maybe in the near future. Jackson, (if I got his name correctly) was welcoming & friendly which made this first impression impactful.
