Stopped by based on the good reviews. It was...OK. The service was good and the food was ready in a very timely fashion. I went around 5PM and the restaurant was empty so I expected the food to come out quickly. Some items are a better value than others. The Chicken Spring Samosas were $3 for 3. They were filled with minced spicy chicken and onions. Rather tasty and a good value. The soups come in various sizes. I tried the Manchow Soup w/ chicken. It was $3 for the small. The cup is about 1/2 the size of a small at typical Chinese restaurants so I felt this was a bit expensive. The entrees are listed as appetizers so don't go crazy ordering a bunch of "appetizers." I got the Mango Matsi w/ Chicken ($7.50). Tastes like sweet & sour chicken w/ mango and a bit of chili peppers. Not very spicy compared to the Manchow Soup. The Mango Matsi was served with a side of steamed white rice. Unfortunately, the rice was old and dry. The curry fried rice ($7.50) was a surprise. It was made with basmati rice which made it a bit more aromatic. The vegetarian option was made with green bell peppers, onions, carrots, and cabbage. If I was in the neighborhood and wanted something like this, I would try it again but I definitely would not go out of my way for this. read more

Once upon a time, at the crossroads of Old Norcross Rd and Breckenridge Blvd, there was a tasty collision between Indian cuisine and Chinese cuisine. As a result Chinese Dhaba was born!!! A fusion of tasty proportions that brings an awesome variation on Chinese food, by making it SPICY!!! Now this is some real deal spicy goodness I am talking about. If you are tired of eating the same old mediocre Indian/Pakistani food served by the surrounding redtaurants like Asmas Cuisine and Naan Curry then give this place a chance. It would get your taste buds burning, and that is a good thing. Feel free to ask for extra spicy sauces if you are feeling adventurous. But you have been WARNED!!! My experience here includes Curry Chicken Fried Rice (7.25$) made extra spicy and extra good and the Spicy 6 peice Chicken Kabab for 3.00$ bucks. To be honest both of the items were great tasting and bought something new to the plate. Serving amounts were good and service was Good and was Fast!! This is the first time I order from this restaurant as I don't live in the area and was just passing by. Everything we ordered was spiced to perfection, simply delicious. The portions are huge, and the 1/2 fried rice that comes with each dish can be shared. One of the items was an appetizer, but it was as much as the entree. I went to Chinese Dhaba for the second time yesterday, wanting to introduce an American friend to the concept of a Indian Chinese. We ordered the Hakka noodles with chicken, Chile chicken (comes with rice), and split a mango lassi. Lassi as always was nice.The issue was that the Chile chicken and Hakka noodles were severely lacking in actual chicken. The flavors were on point, and it's a decent approximation if the real thing back home, but spending around $20 and getting a basically vegetarian dish was sort of a let down. Also, I was assuming the Hakka noodles would be the traditional crispy noodles, but they came out more like spicy lo mein. I can't fault them for that, though. Either way, not bad to get your fix on Indian Chinese, but nothing to write home about. read more

If you love spicy food and chicken you need to come in and get the bullet chicken and chicken sixty five. Bullet chicken is served with finely minced onion and peppers as well as an amazing blend of spices and a side of rice. Can't speak for the other dishes as those are the main ones I get every time and they are always tasty. Sometimes we eat in however all utensils and plates are disposal so usually we will call for carryout. Bullet chicken is my favorite thing here and could eat it for days. I prefer this location to the Norcross one as the Norcross locations veggies were cut different and had a slightly different taste. Still good but prefer this location. read more

Staff was nice but we won't be back. We ordered Szechuan and Garlic Pepper entree dishes. Food was served way too hot; all plates, utensils, etc are disposable and wasteful; and even though both dishes had same spicy level insignia on the menu, the Garlic Pepper was intolerably spicy. We couldn't eat the food and had to take it to go because of the insanely high temperature. They were nice about it and offered a couple free drinks, though. read more

We ordered bullet chicken, curry fried rice, crispy chili shrimp, chicken samosa, man chow soup, hot and sour soup and crispy chili potatoes. Everything was delicious . I particularly liked the soups. The vegetables are fresh and finely chopped and served real hot. Very satisfying to the palate. It's a very casual place so don't expect fancy plates and silverware. Ordered the Indian spiced General Tso's Chicken to go from this place on a weekend. The staff were very nice and answered any questions I had about the menu. It took about 10 minutes to come out so no need to call ahead. Normally GTC is not the dish I go for but chicken is something everyone at the office can sample so that was what I went with. From a flavor perspective this is not your usual GTC. It's got a very fruity and tart front with a good pepper burn on the finish. If you're tired of corner fast food Chinese, this place will help bring your interest back. read more

This place has horrible customer service just as it does food! First, I ordered chicken wings and vegetable fried rice. The chicken wings were soggy and not cooked through along with that you don't get what you pay for. I was missing the cabbage that went with the chicken wings. Second , the fried rice was BLAND Very UNTASTEFUL. I called to inquire about a refund and they told me they didn't do refunds. Which was not listed anywhere in their facility. Ordered Paneer in Manchurian sauce. It comes with steamed white rice. The sauce is very thick and has a lot of onions and cilantro with a kick. I am not a fan of spicy foods but this dish was very good especially eaten over the white rice. We also ordered Fried curry rice. I didn't try it but was told it was very spicy by someone who eats spicy foods all the time. When I go to Indian restaurant, I have to order Mango Lassi. It came in a small cup and a bit pricy for the size ($2.50). However it tasted really good! I was sad to find out that they don't have naan since it's a Chinese fusion Indian restaurant. But I survived :) We were told that they could adjust the level of heat. So make sure to let them know to make the dish mild if you are not into the spicy foods. Overall the foods were very good. My husband and I freaking love Chinese Dhaba. It's delicious as fuck, for real! My favorite go to is the Manchurian Dry Gobi as a starter. If you don't know what that is, you're seriously missing out on life. Then for the meal I love the Chili Sauce with Chicken - yum! As for the service, it's more of a take out place but there is plenty of room to dine in. It's just not fancy or anything. They are always pleasant and they never mess my order up, which hella counts when you don't find out until you're home so that's definitely a plus. We probably order take out from here maybe 2-3 times a month. When we call in the order, they give us a time of about 10-20 mins usually. And guess what, they aren't lying. Your food is waiting for you when you get there. The servings are more than enough and you aren't hungry in like 20 mins like with American Chinese food. This definitely puts a nice spin on Chinese/Indian fusion food. read more

We have been to their other location in Global mall and loved the food there. We (group of 6) came here damn hungry around 8.45 pm after a long day of outdoor activities. The first bad sign was no one in the restaurant. We ignored it and went ahead with ordering. Got sweet corn chicken soup and 10 entrees. Soup was good and we were very excited for the main course. The whole order came in less than 10 minutes. That was the second bad sign. The chilly garlic noodles were half cooked. Garlic fried rice was too salty to eat. Only chilli chicken was good. The white rice had a plastic taste and we didn't eat that. We let owner know about the salty garlic fried rice and he promptly took it back and didn't charge us. Overall, we threw away more than half the food and left there hungry. Never going back. read more

The place looks lacking but once you get inside its clean and quite nice but more importantly they have very tasty food around $8/dish and good quantity. I tried the chicken 65, "bullet chicken" and the chili garlic noodles as I was told they are among the popular items. The bullet chicken I found delicious- tangy and extremely tasty, even though I was full I kept having a few more pieces until I was stuffed. I definitely recommend it. Not the best service. It seemed as though they were bothered by my presence. They decided to clean up once other people came in. When my food came they dropped on the table and keep moving. I got the chicken 65 and it was great. The curry rice with chicken was okay. It was a little dry but had potential. The chicken balls were grossly over done. But my dogs will enjoy. Oh so many vegan delights!!! We were in the area and pleasantly surprised to find so many options here. The Gobi Manchurian was one of the standouts and the cilantro soup was amazing. The prices and portions are good as well. My only complaint is their menu. I had soooo much trouble looking at it online. I love this place. As a vegetarian/borderline vegan, its hard to find a place that offers a tasty variety of vegetarian/vegan options that's aren't just salads or some bland veggies. This place offers a wonderful menu full of dishes for everyone and any diet.
