Quick and friendly service. There was a large amount of food that was average to above average in taste.

The man is a 30 year experienced chef. I asked the waitress to make my Kung Pao Chicken the way I liked it and it was perfect. The Chef came out and introduced himself and asked if it was how I wanted it. It was and we exchanged in pleasantries and he went back to what he does very well at. Couldn't finish it all so yes I will have a chance to eat it tomorrow and the next time I feel like a good fresh Chinese meal. Thank you. read more

Place looks clean ect. The lady was was pleasant but its just weird to have someone shove your bill out of a little slot in a cardboard divider, and take tour payment the same way ( think the worst of covid behavior) just weird. I payed and she literally ran out se my food on a table and ran back behind a closed door as I ran my card. $64 plus tip went straight in the trash when I got home. Lots of food, but all of it was absolutely horrible. Did combos since I had never been there , and a order of pan fried lo mein. The general tso and almond chicken im 99% sure were chicken nuggets from Costco. The Kirkland chicken chunks have a very distinct flavor i recognized through the general tso sauce from a bottle litteraly still in the shape of the spoon and dumped on top of the nuggets.. not even stirred. The almond chicken is chicken nuggets too, so that flavor along with whatever that gravy was.. it looks like Dijon mustard and had the texture of loose cheesecake. Horrible taste and texture. Mongolian beef was barely edible but you could tell just how poor quality the beef was , and it overall was a sloppy brown mess. Chicken subgum was ok no real flavor good or bad. Just something to fill your stomach. The pan fried noodles were a sloppy mushy mess. No flavor, almost no smell except from the way overcooked shrimp that the one bike I took tasted like what a dirty fish tank smells like. The noodles had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Nightmare texture to try to eat. I would have had to eat them with a spoon if I ate them at all. I wish I could have gotten my money back. Worst meal ive paid for in a long time. Im glad I got it to go, because I would have refused it and left had we dined in. read more

This is the weirdest Chinese food I've ever gotten. I got the Mapo tofu and the sauce tastes like what I would imagine those la Choy sauces at the grocery store taste like. And there are VEGETABLES in it. Mapo tofu is basically spicy comfort food that has way more sodium than you know what's good for you. It seems like it's for poor people because it's flavored with fermented beans (where soy sauce gets it's taste), has tofu (which coming from an Asian country, it's for when you can't afford meat) and is numbing spicy where you might not be able to eat as much of it and the salt acts as a preservative so you can save food. It was also sweet, like they used sweet and sour sauce in this, or the same base. Not into that. I wanted to eat salty comfort food without having to chew, or really digest for that matter. It al just melts/dissolves. However I expected veggies in the egg foo young. It looks like there's nothing in the patties except egg, onion, and flour. If a restaurant is skimping, they'll at least have bean sprouts in it. But there is nothing. Its like some species of egg foo young that developed on an isolated island without any interaction with anything else so it evolved into something unusual. I guess you could say that the main drag of downtown Selah is like that? This species might have had to adapt to its surroundings where we have this weird albino evolution of egg foo young. Like I don't believe the owners made Chinese food like this originally. It's an adaptation, and it seems very specific to this area. Never had anything like it. It is also the type of place where the fried rice is has no mixins with it. Big portions, but not helpful if you don't like it. The service was good and the place seems clean. If you've been called a picky eater and like very Americanized, very plain Chinese food, you probably will love it on the same level that I don't like it. read more

Usually very pleased with food and service until yesterday evening. The person who took our order was rude! (Take Out) Ordered the usual Super Duper. In addition, we ordered the 4 entree plate from the chalkboard menu but received only 3! Missing sweet and sour prawns. Also, we discovered no hot mustard, sesame seeds, soy sauce or fortune cookies. Oh, it came with egg drop soup, too. That was good. But there were no napkins, silverware of any kind included. We had to drive somewhere else to pick those things up when we were planning to eat at a nearby park. It wasn't horrible (except for the very disappointing fried rice). We have ordered here a few times. It is always prompt, hot and HUGE portions. We prefer the sweet and sour chicken, cashew chicken (add a little spice) and beef lo mein for the kids. Just had dinner here. This is the only Chinese restaurant in the Yakima area that really has good food. We had hot and sour soup that was very flavorful and had a nice balance. Most places add way too much salt. My wife had Moo Shi Pork and I ordered Combination Lo Mein. We both enjoyed the flavors and presentation. We will return here for sure. I don't get here too often but this place is always hopping. Never had to wait for a seat. What I like is if you are s small eater or not very hungry. Or just plain don't have a lot to spend. They have a few dishes you can get a small portion. So the two of us were able to have a three course dinner for less than $18. Soup entree no veggies unfortunately and fried rice which was plain.
