Daily Special with Chicken Chow Mein and Fried Rice!
    Matt R.

Chinnie's Kitchen had good reviews and I'm glad to say they're right. I had the Daily Special with Chicken Chow Mein and Fried Rice. It's still not quite what you can get in Seattle, but it's solid Chinese. I was seated immediately and the service was friendly and attentive. I will be back!

Listen if you haven't had gluten free Chinese food in a while, this is THE PLACE!!! they have their food better dialed in than Chan's even. IYKYK!! Goooo!!! Absolutely delicious. Everything we have tried tastes like REAL Chinese food. I just wish it wasn't on 128th haha! I recommend dine in your first time but take out after that is good. The ambiance isn't great but the food is absolutely phenomenal. The waitstaff has ALWAYS been top notch! These guys hustle! Tip them for take out, because they are doing everything for the front of the house. They will answer any questions you have and it makes dining GF much more enjoyable.

Went to Chinnie's Kitchen in Everett yesterday and they are amazing. The food and service was super good -- some of the best Chinese food I've had in years. I loved the egg foo yong and the spicy basil chicken. They also have a lot of gluten free options. I found it using the find me gluten free app. It's just up the hill from McDonald's and definitely worth the 16-minute drive from North Seattle. I'm already looking forward to going back.

Amazing meal and delicious food! We had phad Thai with prawns, fried rice, prawns with vegetables, BBQ pork, hot and sour soup and egg rolls! This is the best Chinese food in Everett and we've been to all of them! Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned with delicious sauces and fresh vegetables! The smell, taste, texture and love that goes into their cooking is the very best! Thank you for a delightful dining experience!

We've ordered takeout a few times from here and always enjoyed it. The food is usually ready pretty quickly and is always piping hot even after the drive back home. The portions are also really big which is appreciated. We always get the bbq pork fried rice which is super delicious and packed with little chunks of bbq pork. It tastes even better the next day as leftovers when the flavors have had a chance to really meld together. The portion is massive so we always have some left over. I highly recommend ordering this. We've also ordered a few of the chicken dishes, with my favorites being the sesame chicken and general Tsos chicken. The sesame chicken is sweet and has a good flavor to it. The general Tsos has a sweet and spicy sauce to it and is really tasty. We've also tried the orange chicken which was good but nothing special. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the chow fun. It kind of lacked flavor and was a bit greasy. We will definitely be ordering takeout from here again.

We were excited to try. After getting home, the food was not correctly described when we had placed our order over the phone. Very bland, like everything was frozen and then reheated in a microwave. It was as if you ordered gas station Chinese food. Not a single item was worth consuming. Normally I would just take the loss, but when we called and asked why a certain dish was not as described, and to hopefully get it corrected, Cody M was very sarcastic and rude. He called us a name not worth repeating and hung up on us. For $90, we are very dissatisfied and will never be returning.

Ask the Community - Chinnie's Kitchen

Is there a gluten free menu that we can view online before ordering? Don't see gluten free marked on all the items that should have gf options on the website?

I don't have a separate menu for the gluten free. If the item is not breaded, you can ask about Gluten Free such as Chow Fun, Crispy chicken in sweet chili sauce, Mongolian Beef...

Are any of your gluten free options egg free as well?

Yes. If you don't want egg in your Fried Rice, for example, we can leave it out. You just let us know at the time of order.

Wondering if the food was a fluke on our first visit we returned and oh boy, did these guys drop…read morethe ball. The food here is good and worth the drive if you are in the county, but I am dropping my review to 3 stars based on all the issues between both visits. On this visit, we came for dinner. Dinner specials are about 20% more than lunch. You certainly expect a larger portion and, in most cases, the dinners include an egg roll or BBQ pork or something to round out the meal. That was not the case here. Nope, this was just soup entrée and rice and the portion was not larger than the lunch portion. That was the first issue. The second was not having out water refilled, AGAIN. When we asked for water, the woman had an attitude and the customer waiting for his take out said, You, can grab a carafe from the cooler. I had seen them, but not only was one never offered to us, it should have been placed on the table for dine in. A reviewer called the Almond chicken weird. It's not weird, they just use the same process as the sweet and sour chicken instead or pounding out a breast. I've had it this way a few times and actually like it. Each piece is about the size of a Starbursts, but once battered, it puffs up to a fun size Snickers bar. The advantage is a fully coated, crisp piece of chicken. The downside is it's an illusion. It makes a small portion of chicken look like a full-size portion. That said, the chicken was good, well seasoned, battered and cooked perfectly. That same take out customer asked for hot oil, the same thing I asked for on my first trip, the lady reached down and grabbed him a tiny cup. Yes, the same thing we were told they don't have on our first trip. WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON HERE! The final issue was the soup. As mentioned in my initial review, the hot and sour was really good, but when I asked about another cup, I was told I had to buy another lunch. So this time, based on reviews, I tried the wonton soup. It was about $7 and it was in the same size cup as the lunch soup, so maybe 10 oz or even 8. It was packed with 4 wontons, it also had bamboo and carrots and another vegetable that may have been zucchini It was good, but not as good as the hot and sour and not worth the price. This is a $3 cup of soup, not a bowl, either lower the price or increase the portion. The food is an A, but the service is an F. They are inconsistent and since we have been the only dine in customer's on both trips, I guess all your take out people have a different experience. If this place was in our neighborhood, we would get take out, not dine in and we would be selective about what we order. I think the food is 5 star, but everything else is an issue. When you can't trust the people serving you, it's hard to fall in love with a place.

I recommend that you call them directly or walk in for takeout because those prices are much better than DoorDash or Uber eats will give you. This is a small family run establishment with excellent quality, food and customer service. Everyone I interacted with yesterday was extremely helpful and friendly. I was surprised that in this day and age their prices were still very good. I was just there to order takeout lunch for my husband and myself. I ordered the Seattle Roll, a spicy tuna roll, chicken and tempura combo, and an extra salad since the chicken entree came with a salad. I was not prepared for how much food I would receive! When I brought it home, my husband and I both laughed because we had so much food that there was no way we could eat it all. Not complaining! It was great! The tempura was easily the best I've had in the area. Perfectly done. The chicken teriyaki was perfect as well. The spicy tuna roll was excellent. The Seattle roll was really good, but did come with smoked salmon as advertised so patrons should be aware of that - you do taste the smoke. The salad was shredded cabbage with a delicious light dressing. This is hands down the best overall sushi/teriyaki place for take out in the Town Center in my opinion. For about $50, we got a TON of food that was really fresh and delicious. On top of that, this restaurant is impeccably clean and the staff pay attention to detail and care about their patrons. Our to go order was packaged up carefully and thoughtfully. I wholeheartedly recommend supporting this family and their amazing restaurant.

The thing that was lacking for me was flavor, which is crucial for any memorable restaurant. My wife and I were greeted profusely when we came in, and we instantly felt welcomed into the small but mighty establishment. I ordered the creamy curry udon noodles while my wife got the beef donburi. The creamy curry udon noodles was good - but in my opinion, I thought it lacked substance. I was looking for a beautiful blend of salty and sweet in each bite, but the curry flavor was so overpowering that I didn't taste the cream at all. The teriyaki had a great crunch, but it desperately needed some sort of sweetness to be paired with it. Not a bad dish, but it just felt a bit empty. The donburi was HUGE and busy, which was a delight. Great portions for sure! A mixture of kimchi, beef, and rice can never go wrong. The only fault to this dish was that the beef was rather tough - either it was overcooked or it was old meat, which I view as a cardinal sin. Overall, the mixture of Korean and Japanese cuisine was a nice flair and definitely unique. The amount of food is great too, with each plate being stacked to the brim. But when it comes to quality, I think there are better out there. Rounding up to a 4-star review though - bonus points to the friendly staff!

I ordered the cabbage and pork potstickers, the Dandan noodles, a beef pancake roll, the veggie, egg and shrimp potstickers, and finally the lamb with onion potstickers and one coca-cola (yes, all of this was for me, don't judge). First, the beef pancake roll was AMAZING!!! It's a super simple item, the pancake was crispy and soft, wrapped around some lettuce and flavourful beef. This is a must order. The potstickers were all fantastic. Warm, pillowy pockets full of veggies and protein. The cabbage and pork were my favourites. Finally, the Dandan noodles.
