I placed an online order that said it would be ready for pickup at 6:10 pm. I was waiting inside for almost an hour with 20 other people having the same issue. Just picked up my food at 7:00. I'm going to start with I placed an order online and when my daughter went to pick it up, it was missing the chips she ordered. When she asked about them the employee was very rude and snippy and just said oh yeah we're out of them and turned around and walked off leaving her standing there. She is not a confrontational person so when she got home and told me, it's horrendous trying to reach anyone to talk to. You call to talk to someone and they want you to chat with a bot to fix your issues and instead of being able to tell the manager they have a crappy employee and that you just want a refund because you had to go somewhere else to buy the chips you already paid for the dumb bot just wants to put in your rewards for a free chips but then warns you that it will expire if you don't use it in time. Dumbest thing ever- my suggestion just go somewhere else with better service and that actually has food!!! read more

I love chipotle but this one is really the worst. I was really happy there's a chipotle in town now but I can't stop ignoring the horrible service and staff. The dude in charge is extremely rude and condescending to the employees and if there's more than one person in line, everything goes to chaos. This visit was the same. Just watched the whole staff argue about who was going to replace the queso while I stood there, someone ended up just scooping queso from the other line in a paper cup and walking it back over and dumping it on top of my burrito. The staff were all really short and dismissive to me and I was doing my very best to be calm and polite. I'll come back if the place is under new management. read more

This location needs a lot of work from costumers service to cooking rice they had very poor team working skills from why I could see their brown rice was so hard every bite was like a raw rice. After eating at another restaurant down the street and having a bad experience we decided not to order my dads to go food there and chose Chipotle instead. The food line was dirty which almost turned me around but I decided to give it a try, the employees threw the burrito together making the area even worse, had to wrap an extra tortilla around his burrito and then didn't completely wrap the burrito in foil correctly. HORRIBLE!!!! Ordered a bowl (I was starving) as I start eating about two bites in I notice a bug in my bowl. I moved the fork around and noticed a second one. Go to complain & im guessing it was a manager that asked to re make it but at that point I was grossed out & said no thank you. I have eaten chipotle all across this great nation and been disappointed just twice... both times eating at this location. If you're used to having too much food in front of you, this is not your chipotle. If you're used to fresh tasting, hot, well-prepared ingredients, this is not your chipotle either. Tonight my burrito bowl came with a bouncy curl of black hair nestled delicately on the summit of my sour cream blob. When I pointed out that I had not requested the human hair be added to my self-deprecating slop trough they merely remade it in a smaller portion than before. Hardly an apology... I made two DoorDash orders in a row and both times my orders came in missing different items. I asked the dasher to ask them to make sure the right items are in. He said they double checked and when it came it was still missing items. How do you mess up two times in a row so bad?? SMH highly don't recommend. First, KUDOS to the very pleasant staff. My son and I ordered steak and chicken burritos with large chips and queso. The chips and queso cost $5.25 and that was the most disgusting cheese sauce I have ever eaten, HANDS DOWN. It tasted like it had ground up chalk in it, and it tasted like it was burned. It didn't really taste like a cheese sauce at all. The chips were stale. Second, the steak in the steak burrito was so pink it looked raw on the inside, even though the outside was browned. I almost threw up when I saw how rare it looked. My son and I have eaten at a Chipotle's before [near Fort Worth] and the food was wonderful there. I will NEVER eat at this restaurant again. That was the most expensive dog food I have purchased in quite a while, but I will say both dogs LOVED the steak. read more

Walked in Saturday about 11:45, hot and stuffy inside. Got to the line, kid behind the counter just looks at us, doesn't crack a smile, when asked why the difference in rice & he says they're the same. I looked puzzled & as why the color difference & he finally says "it's long grain wheat rice" which was not the case. Ordered the burrito, got to the end and asked if we wanted chips and salsa. The tomatoes and onions were passed as mild while the hatch green chili was passed as medium. Chips are stale every time we go. It was so yummy omg so happy to eat Mexican food . The workers were all so kind to us and gave us so many honey lime vinaigrettes. Look how happy it made us!!!! I can't wait to come back to Abilene to go to this chipotle. Unfortunately the outside chairs were uncomfortable and left imprints on my bum. read more

Quick, fresh and your choice of healthier alternatives. Burritos are king size. Make sure you have an appetite. Clean inside with friendly staff. Patio area is nice when it's not too windy. We do live in west Texas, so needless to say, it's often windy. Still a fan of bueno, but it's nice to have this five as an option. read more

I have been a loyal Chipotle customer for years. Never have I been as disappointed as this location. A new store that's not even a year old and already very disappointing. I've been to other locations and they are wonderful. This one not so much. Chips were stale. The hot salsa was so salty it was almost inedible. Overall it just didn't taste the same and wasn't as good as other locations. I hope they improve because I do like this place. read more

Portion sizes have been inconsistent every time I have visited, usually on the smaller side. Usually you are lucky to get enough to fill a burrito. Make sure you ask for extra if they try to short you. read more

Also they've ran out of flour tortillas twice already since opening which is understandable I guess since it just started & people have been going like crazy. Hopefully it gets better as time passes.
