Constantly runs out of important items like guacamole poor customer service and overall operations of the store are just a joke

This Chipotle is the closest one to my house, so it's the one I use for my family's Chipotle fix most often, but it's also the worst Chipotle, unfortunately. They have literally messed up my order every. Single. Time. And that's no easy feat, because we eat here at least 3 times a month. Fuck this chipotle, I told my entire family to stop going here. They overload quesadillas with dry gross cuts of meat; I'm talking tendons and bones in any meat you get. I hate biting into something getting dry giant cuts of gnarly meat. Learn how to dice the meat up smaller and cook it fucking right. I am a Chipotle lover in a house of Qdoba fans. I have to lobby hard for Chipotle. I have probably been five times since April...only once did it go smoothly. I stopped doing online orders because they were never done on time (once almost an hour past it's expected time; without the ability for a refund). The workers here are disrespectful. I came in at 9 and the attitude was "now we're going to be here all night." After I got stared down I decided this place wasn't worth my business. On my way out this kid yells "thank you!" Children. This specific location sucks but honestly chipotle in general has just sucked. Smaller portions. Overworked employees. I used to passionately love these restaurants but they are no longer worth going to, when I left I got beans and rice from a grocery store and made my own concoction. I live down the street from this chipotle and I usually do not ever write bad reviews, I work in the service industry myself but every time I come here I have a horrible experience. All the staff are young and extremely rude. Once I was given raw chicken when I bit into my burrito I brought my order back and the staff was mad at ME for asking for a refund! I try to give this place a chance time after time and at this point I think they need to train their staff to be more pleasant and not give attitude anytime you ask for extra protein or ask for your food to be fresh. I really have always liked this location since it was put in my Senior Year of high school. I think the staff is friendly and the food is the typical Chipotle food. However, there are two reasons why I really like this location: 1.) This location cares about the community. They are continually doing fundraisers where 20%-50% of sales go to whatever organization is running the fundraiser. They typically, however, allow the local schools extra-curricular activities do the fundraisers like cheer, football, volleyball, choir, etc... from the local school. Back with the horrible events and passing of Jessica Ridgeway, this location did a 4 day fundraiser for the family and gave them money to help with any expenses. I thought that was amazing! I don't really see any other business in the location (aside from Bliss Yogurt) that opens their doors and sacrifices their profits to benefit kids of the community. 2.) They may get flack for expensive guacamole, but have you read anything surrounding the controversy of flack Chipotle is going through from big food corporation? They don't serve MSG products, and with many of their fresh ingredience they try to get local non-pesticide treated products. They are going for healthy and even are trying to break away from the big corporations that care for quantity over quality. With the new health movement, Chipotle is trying to stand strong. Honestly if I could give this store a 0 star I would. Lemme just start by saying I was an employee at this store and it's horrible. I was never trained just thrown in and then was treated very poorly when something was done the wrong way. If I wasn't fast enough I was told that other people are faster and I need to be at there standers. She has the title of "General manager" but never shows her face in the store. She gets paid to treat her employees like trash while she sits there on vacation. Everytime chicken was placed out on the hot line the meat was WAY undercooked. The store was always trashed with several health code violations. I was yelled at and treated very poorly by Evanna Ortiz. I was exposed to Covid and had Covid symptoms and was told I still needed to show up I just needed to wear a mask and still prep and cut food. Then to top it all off when I left she had the audacity to delete my work hours and sent a text that said "I'm deleting your hours thanks for nothing". I reached out to her about my Tax forms and was blocked so I called the store they left a sticky note and she threw it away..Evanna Ortiz is just about the worse boss you could ever imagin. She is very unprofessional. I'd save you the time and money and visit a different store. The 64th and ward store is trash. Finally, this Chipotle has turned the corner. After previous sub-optimal experiences, I've had a couple of months of consistent excellence. I honestly think it's in large part to the leadership of Alfredo, the manager who I spoke with the other day. He's definitely shifted the culture of the store in a positive direction. read more

Worse chipotle location!! Just moved to the area and was happy to see chipotle was 8 min away from my home. What ever you do go else where you're better off at another location because the food sucks here!!! 64th & Ward Road Restaurant sucks!! Cold food, Black guacamole, forgot my Queso and 3 dime size chicken pieces. Apparently the food is only fresh during a certain time because that guacamole was sitting around for a while disgusting!! I've gone to this location since Chipotle first began and it was so great for the first 10 some years! Me and my family would eat there 2-3 times a week. The people were friendly and happy and the food was amazing!! Now, however, it's just no good. The people are rude, the food has no taste, and the guacamole literally never has salt. It's so sad that this location is not trying to fix the widespread reputation that the listeria epidemic left behind. Corporate needs to do something about it. Not what it used to be! The amazing new "cheese quesadilla" option at chipotle... not cool at all. First off they are not that great. The tortilla is doubled and there's half the cheese. Second, even though you can order them online now, you cannot order them in the store... This is the second time they've messed my order up because you can't stand there and watch them make it. They gave me kids quesadillas instead of the new ones. Even if you get the new quesadillas, They put your quesadilla in the little slot in the kids meal container. And then put the sauces and sour cream in the other little slots. It's a mess by the time you get home... I would've expected more from chipotle. At least they could've put them in the little plastic containers? Or maybe come up with a new container? Something that's actually appealing? Tonight we left without ordering because the computers were down, I understand not their fault, but they were taking orders and then telling people they couldn't pay AFTER they made the food, then forcing them to create an online order to pay for the food already made. They have a exit door that won't open as its a one way exit it is connected to the biggest part of the parking lot which raises a lot of questions. Been eating here since it opened but tonight was awful. Smooth move heading out to California, fools. And what have you done with your food? Chicken had no flavor -had to have been boiled and cut into pieces no bigger than your pinky. No flavor in fajita bowl. Skimpy fajita veggies sliced like toothpicks. Ordered my usual chicken burrito bowl, their computer system was down. As I approached the register, the cashier was taking a hand written tally of everyone's order as they were checking out. This Chipotle leaves alot to be desired. My advice is to order ahead to avoid the line, but double check your order before you leave the parking lot. The last three times we've ordered from this location they've screwed it up. I actually like the serving sizes here too, the burritos are big but not so ridiculous to the point of them falling apart. This is the second time I've ordered cauliflower rice for a 2 dollar upcharge and the second time I have been shafted. Should've read the reviews, but we come here mainly because it's close to where we live and offers one of the rare, reasonably healthy food choices on a budget. Ordered online - waited for 40min. and would've been longer had I not said something. Line of people irritated. People behind the counter frazzled and over it, too. Kid at the register finally took my name, found my order on the portal, printed it out and walked it over to the start of the production line where two women promptly ignored it in favor of people in line who had just walked in the door. You had enough people tonight, you just haven't trained anyone and your system - if there is one - isn't efficient. Everyone working here is disinterested and disheartened - by what I could tell from your guests standing around waiting for unlabeled food that could be for anyone that came out every once in a while, your guests weren't feeling great about it, either. As you can't give a refund for online orders - we're trapped. We're not coming back. Pretty sure you don't care about that and I guess the feeling is mutual. read more

I went in this Saturday night for a burrito at 9:30pm. Understanding they closed at 10:00pm I figured I would get in and get out. I ordered a burrito but could not get any white rice because they were out. I understand it's a Saturday night and they were ready to close but I really didn't think they would be out of white rice especially with a line behind me. I settled for the brown rice. I ordered double steak which I paid dearly for only to get home and have a burrito full of old dry woody steak. The burrito and two bottles drinks I got was $20. I figured for $20 and a half hour before closing I could get something I would enjoy... I thought wrong.
