Staff is slow, they're clearly understaffed, and the food quality just isn't the best. I'm not sure if it's because they don't get enough customers at this particular location but it's definitely not the best Chipotle you can go to in South Austin. We've tried this location multiple times and consistently there are issues. I ordered the carnitas salad and received almost NO meat - maybe 2 ounces when you take out the large piece of fat and stringy dried piece of carnitas. The fajita veggies are undercooked and crunchy - so not fajita style at all but lightly cooked. The portions are consistently light at this location. The chips are overcooked and not the usually delicious Chipotle style chips. Go to Sunset Valley for your fix, this location will leave you disappointed and hungry. read more

Cilantro was spoiled, old and made the whole dish taste weird, guacamole tasted like it had been left out, when we asked for the chicken to be on the side in a bowl the lady rolled her eyes at us because she had to grab another bowl for us. We have tried time and time again to give this chipotle a try but after this experience and waiting an hour for our takeout a year ago the service has not gotten better. Very surprised by the low reviews here! I've noticed many of the reviews are for pick-up/chipotlane issues and that could be. I only eat inside or walk to this chipotle to order pickup and walk home I've been coming here almost weekly for a year+ and the food and service has been consistently good and actually has improved over the last 2 or 3 months. The current deal for double meat + guac gets a free large drink is pretty neat. Over the last few months, the music has been toned down and eating inside is more pleasant. Listen, if someone orders a salad then the staff should include the dressing unless the customer asks to exclude it. Why is it my responsibility to make sure my order is correct. It is so frustrating to get home having ordered a salad and not have the dressing. I'd add that my quesadilla had a single clump of cheese right in the center. That was it. I do appreciate the cashier grabbing my chipotlane order as I had to go in and order more food. Lastly, every time I've been in this location it is disgustingly filthy. One of my better Chipotle experiences because the parking lot had good parking, the restaurant was very clean, there were plenty of people working so the line went quickly and all the workers were very polite (seemed to be a bunch of teens but I was super impressed). I've never tried ordering online or the pickup window so I could see how some previous reviews mentioning getting orders wrong. They can't get them wrong if you watch them do it from the inside. :) I almost always get the chicken burrito bowl because I'm a creature of habit. I love the variety of options, from carnitas to steak and chicken. The service is always quick and efficient. The ingredients are usually always flavorful and fresh. There may be a long line to place an order, but it is always worth it when I take my first bite. Chipotle offers kids' menu options which are very convenient if you have children. The drink menu has a variety of beers and fountain drinks. The bathrooms are usually decent and open to the public. Twice now, I've ordered online for pick up in the "chipotlane" and it's been the same girl and guy working the drive thru. They are never on time. The first time I went, I waited 10mins at the window and watched her make a bunch of other bowls instead of mine, even though it was the designated time for me to pick up. Good location and plenty of parking. Its like most other Chipotles except they consistently give you about half the portion other locations give you. Great place to come to if you are on a diet and want to loss weight. But sometimes you are hungry and it really doesn't hit the spot. So if you want a super small portion of chipotle then this is the place for you. I call it Mini Chipotle. read more

Orders are often incorrect. They seem to run out of key ingredients (like rice, or the protein choice) and just skip it without telling the customer. I've got home to find: 1) No protein or vegetables in quesadilla - several times 2) Missing quesadilla in the quesadilla box (just rice, sauce, wrong protein and an empty taco). Sometimes food is estimated at being ready in under 10 minutes but is closer to 30 - a problem on a short lunch break. Unfortunately the customer service feature in the app insists on only a coupon for a free entree but still charging for the chips if only the entree was missing. This is infuriating because without the entree I don't really have lunch to eat and don't have the time to go back for a second attempt to get lunch. I rarely ever use Yelp, but my experiences with this Chipotle have compelled me to go full Karen-mode & leave a negative review. I frequent Chipotle on a regular basis, and have eaten hundreds of times at various locations. I've been to this specific location about 5 times now, and every visit has been disappointing. I went on Sunday evening, 8/28/22, and it was an anxiety inducing experience. They had probably 8-12 employees working, yet they had no beans, no veggies, no lids, no chips, and apparently someone who "didn't know how to cut chicken". They counter where they prepare the meals was a total mess, and given the circumstance of all the proper ingredients / materials, the workers were flustered. I really felt bad for the people working there, because of all the commotion, and all the slightly irritated guests in line. My visit before that, they had an employee that didn't know how to make rice.... How do you not know how to cook rice??? Everytime I've gone here, it has felt like this place is managed extremely poorly. Whoever is the GM of this Chipotle has got to step it up. read more
