I visited this chipotle late one night on my drive home from the river. Before I ordered my food I checked the soda machine, I don't drink soda and I wanted to make sure that they had lemonade. They did so once I ordered my food, got my drink went to get lemonade and they were out of lemonade!! Since that is the only soft drink that I drink I went back to the counter to return my cup and just ask for my money back. The employee went above and beyond realizing that I didn't drink carbonated beverages and let me swap for a more expensive juice bottled beverage. It's Chipotle in an area frequented by Angelenos going to and from Vegas so it's not like I expect this place to blow my mind. Service is good - friendly, helpful and what-not. Restaurant is clean with decent bathrooms. And the food is the same as it is at any other Chipotle location. Lines are long-ish but you get through it pretty quick. Stopped on the way home from Vegas and I will never stop at this Chipotle location again! Service was terrible! When I buy a bowl at Chipotle it is always a Mountain by the time my order is complete. Here, my Bowl was half full but when I saw an employee eating a bowl it was a overflowing. The cashier couldn't count my change which was only 37 cents. She said "I'm really bad at math". You don't put someone who is bad at math working as a cashier! The dining room was DIRTY! I saw an employee wipe off a table by pushing all the trash and crumbs to the floor and leaving it there; didn't even get a broom to sweep it up. The trash cans were missing in the dinning room so there was no where to even throw my own trash away upon leaving. The bathroom was an even bigger disaster! There was paper towels all over the floor because the trash can was overflowing. The toilet paper dispensers were empty but there were rolls of TP sitting on the floor. The ingredients were all very good. It is cool how they can slap them all in the burrito in 2 second. But when the first 5 bites are tortilla and lettuce and the next 5 bites are beans and hot sauce then the next 5 bites are all the meat and the next bites are all rice. This place is very clean and well kept up - when I was there, the manager himself was going around greeting the diners and even wiping and bussing the tables. And when taking and assembling my order, the staff was really jumping. If you haven't been to a Chipotle before, they assemble your item in front of you to your specs. I had a chicken fajita burrito with no cheese (very healthy after overdoing it in Las Vegas). I like to add lettuce and both medium salsas - the corn is especially good. I received good service here. However I would like to make a recommendation that employees start wearing name badges. I was trying to get the attention of the person in charge of toppings behind the counter so that I could add chips and guacamole to my order. The person had very long false eyelashes and large breasts. Apparently I made the incorrect assumption that this person identified as female and I used the gendered salutation "ma'am." The person seemed extremely put out that I used the gendered term "ma'am". The person repeated the term in a sarcastic and upset manner to a colleague. Stopped in on our way home from Lake Havasu . We showed up at 5:30 pm the line was about 25 people deep, a few people left and we should have too. It took 35 minutes to order . The steak in my burrito was cold , the steak in my wife's taco was cold and under cooked , and my daughters quesadilla was way over cooked so the edges were hard . To top it all of the service sucked . Not friendly or even a smile, thank you, or have a nice day . We have been to the chipotle in Brea , Huntington Beach, and Buena Park . This Chipotle is probably one of the slower serving chains. We came in maybe fourth in line and nobody was getting their order taken. They also are pretty limited on their options. For instance, they didn't have orange juice that was listed on the kids menu. The line was out the door at one point and everyone looked hangry. One coworker called out out the staff in the front for the line being out the door in front of all of the customers. The staff laughed but didn't speed up her process for serving customers. I've ordered Chipotle many times and in many places. Typically my complaint about Chipotle is that no matter where you go it always tastes exactly the same, and I guess this could noted as a mark of consistency - however, this location is the only exception to that and by far the worst Chipotle I have been to. This is by far the most "hit or miss" location, whereas sometimes the guacamole is good but there have been too many times where the guacamole is either bad, tasteless or even spoiled. This location's inconsistency shows that it is not meant to serve locals but rather to take advantage of unsuspecting passerbys along the highway who don't know how terrible of a location this is. After the amount of times that I had been duped by the place and due to the severity of the food spoilage I had dealt with in my previous order I finally took it upon myself to contact Chipotle's customer service department. When I told them that'd I'd prefer contact by email I was told by the customer support agent that works for the company in Ohio that I would have to call them, furthering the negative customer experience by forcing me to jump through hoops when I had clearly stated and reiterated my communication preference. Anyway, now that I've typed this I've wasted enough time on this place. I will no longer go back to this location due to the repeated inconsistency and if I were anywhere else I will just make use of other options in the area beside Chipotle due to the customer service experience in which I was told to call despite my preferences and even in doing so multiple times during reasonable business hours customer service agent Je**my refuses to answer the phone read more
