Our experience with this Chipotle has been overall pretty good after a few visits. They haven't skimped out on the portion sizes yet which is the biggest thing we look for when going out to Chipotle. I will say that the Veteran's Day service was a bit lacking, though. Of course I'll always be thankful for the free entrée they offer, but it took us almost 45 minutes to get through the line which I thought was a pretty long wait. Terrible. I don't usually go out of my way to leave a bad review but sometimes it needs to be done. I try to avoid this place but when my plan A doesn't work out, this is sometimes plan B (because it's close to my home) and I should really come up with a better one. Between the lack of preparation, the low level of effort in constructing the food, to the insufficient way the burritos are wrapped up- everything is just lacking and subpar. The people that workers there really seem to mean well and they make an effort to be polite but there's just a level of food skill that is lacking. Always a good choice for after the gym. Usually get a good little (not so little) burrito with chicken. Consistently tasty and warm. No problem with the quality. Cost usually runs about 9$ a burrito, which may seem expensive but these things fill you up. Plus it's cheaper than a quarter pounder from McD and just feels healthier. read more

Great portion sizes for my Chipotle bowl! But...the meat (aka my chicken) was not cut well at all! Had half a chicken breast as one piece of meat that I'm supposed to somehow shove in my mouth? Save your money! Yuck! Ordered two bowls and it came out to 49$! I was surprised by the price and when the food arrived.. the steak was ice cold. I've never asked for a refund at a chipotle before. This afternoon at approximately 2:20, I decided to try out the new Chipotle in Bremerton, having been a regular customer at the Chipotle located at The Trails, figured I would give this one a shot. Well, I should have headed for The Trails. Upon entering this Chipotle, I noticed there were three employees standing behind the counter in the kitchen area and one staff member running the front counter by himself. He was taking the food orders, processing the orders, running the register, and packaging the orders. Needless to say, for myself and the other five people in line, the process of ordering and getting our food was exceptionally longer than one would expect. Especially, as there were other employees who were talking amongst themselves in the kitchen and two employee's sweeping the dining room, which I recognize is an important task and I appreciate them doing. Just not sure what the other three employees were doing in the kitchen... Eventually my order was processed and my food handed to me, and on the drive home I decided to open up the bag of chips and sample some. Well, that was mistake too. Turns out the chips in the bag (that I purchased) had the taste and texture of three-day-old Super Bowl chips that were left on the counter in an open bag, next to empty beer cans. Don't get me wrong, they did have a hint of lime flavor and salt to them, but their texture was that of my horse's saddle strap that had been left in the sun for the weekend. I did manage to try five separate chips thinking that perhaps maybe just the first few were bad luck. But as it turns out, the whole bag is bad luck. I feel sorry for the corn stocks that sacrificed themselves, and all the labor along the way, that brought those chips to this restaurant, into a brown bag, placed the bag on a stocking shelf, processed the purchased of said chips by me, only to be rejected so quickly and find their final resting place in my household trash can. There has to be a Confucius moment there, somewhere. Probably something like "even within a full bag of chips, one may find disappointment". Bottom line, I would really like to see this Chipotle be a success, Lord knows I'd love to have one closer to my house. But as they say, happy trails to you. If you want a good Chipotle meal, head to The Trails. For me, I will not be participating in this culinary disaster anymore. Ohh - and don't get me started on the music...I'm not usually one to complain about loud music, but when even the employees are covering their ears, as they're walking through the dining room, that might tell you that the music is a little loud. In retrospect ,perhaps the music is loud to promote the grinding of the teeth that is needed to actually mulch the chips and help with the digestive process, one can only guess. I should also point out, while standing in line, I had the opportunity to witness no fewer than three people walk in, scan the environment, and leave to go find their nutritional needs elsewhere. Hindsight tells me I should've followed their lead and walked up the street to Grocery Outlet, Wendy's, Sherries, or even to the gas station (OK, maybe not that, but you get my point)... I'm actually considering buying lottery tickets again, in the hopes that I might win. If I do, I will take my winnings and show up at this Chipotle location, first thing in the morning, every morning, and I will purchase their entire stock of food, just prevent somebody else from having to go through what I did. Don't get me wrong. I do want this new 'redeveloped' center to succeed. I really like what they're doing there, but if their anchor restaurants follow the lead of Chipotle, I'm afraid we'll see more apartments in a few years. Footnote: I've been asked by a few people how come my reviews on here are generally negative. Well, the way I see it, any organization that's asking for my money for their services or their food items etc., I expect it to be at minimum - good. My leaving my hard earned cash in exchange for a good experience is enough and should be consider my 'review'. But when I run across those situations where my hard earned cash has been wasted on an organization that takes no pride in customer service or how their food items are being managed.... You'll see a review from me here and it won't be very flattering, but it will be honest and that's all I got to say about that. Waited for a few months after grand opening, but it's no better or worse than any other chipotle I've been to. New building so the place looked great and clean. Staff was friendly but not over bearing, I didn't have to wait a long time for them to make my food. Food is as expected, kinda bummed they didn't have steak but that's life. I was first in line at the time but half way through the line filled up fast so it seems like a lot of people like this place. Food was not good, cheese was dry,crunchy, and clumped together. Portion size of rice was less than 1/4 of a cup my group had to ask three times to get a decent amount of rice. The service of the employees was horrible. Employees had attitude, no sense of respect, and made rude comments to me and my groups making my group feel stupid. The ambiance of the building was not good at all. We waited 8 minutes to even be helped because the employees were not organized and did not have all the ingredients made prior. I understand that it is a new opening of chipotle but that is no reason to be rude to paying customers. Do not recommend at all. Didn't enjoy the chicken bowl I had today, cold and not tasty or flavorful to me. Small dining area with tables that don't seem to be movable, only other option is high stool type seating with a longer table. Chairs weren't comfortable to me and decor was very plain. Food wasn't worth the price and zero atmosphere in my opinion. Only thing I did like was they have outdoor seating if the weather is nice, and big windows with nice landscaping outside. read more

I never write bad reviews but I'm disgusted. Ordered a bowl, the meat, beans and rice were ice cold.. I bit into either steak or chicken? The texture felt raw and it tasted like fish or some kind of seafood . On top of this the chips tasted as if they were stale and had been sitting for a week.. My wife and i online ordered two bowls and some chips that came out to $40. What we were upset about wasn't the price it was the fact that the portion sizes were the size of my fist. I asked for a little bit more to the meal but was told that I would have to pay extra.
