Chipotle never ceases to lower my standards of customer service. My most recent adventure had one of the staff members and myself in a debacle: I ordered guacamole on my bowl but she didn't hear me. Granted, the long list of cheese, lettuce, and guacamole can sometimes be a struggle to both remember and fashion in one dish; however, once discussed I assumed it would be introduced onto my bowl. No, staring at me with dead eyes seemed to be the preferred method. After asking if they would kindly put it into a side container, the guacamole and my bowl were united at last. When you walk in, the first thing you see is a line. DON'T LEAVE.... the line moves quite quickly since there are always several people working to serve the food! The food is delicious and affordable. The only bad thing about this location is the tiny parking lot. But there is plenty of parking in the back (At least until Buffalo Wild Wings opens) and next door at Kroger. read more

I love this place. So, it's basically the expected Chipotle food and quality (awesome). It gets pretty busy during lunch time, so make sure you get there early enough to get a parking spot and a place to sit. What makes this one really awesome is the service! This IS THE BEST CHIPOTLE in my area! The rice ALWAYS has the right amount of lime, the barbacoa with the right amount of kick and the other ingredients are always fresh. The place stays so busy, the parking lot is always packed....but don't let that stop you. The have a pleasant team - work a the right speed - unlike the crews in other stores who are rude and don't listen to what you're ordering while they rush you thru the line. Probably a waste of time to review Chipotle, but I hadn't eaten at one in several years and was pretty impressed with the flavorful, melty quality of the barbacoa, freshness of the guac and other ingredients, and efficiency of the line at suppertime yesterday. Yes, the parking lot is way too tiny and hazardous to exit, given that the driveway is right on the entrance ramp to the Reagan Hwy. Not sure how they even got it past the zoning regulations. PSA: avoid the Chipotle on Winton rd and cross county. In the last 4 visits they have been out of at least one ingredient. Tonight: no lettuce, black beans, or chicken. They have inefficient service. When I walked in it was about a 20 minute wait before I could sit down to eat. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem. The catch was, that there were only like two people in the store with me. They are also playing vulgar music in the background such as a song that goes "Booty me down". Not to mention that it was loud enough that while holding my drink I could feel the vibrations in the cup. The trash can is overflowing and the employees are less than pleasant. Consistently rude employees that rush you along and say "Next!" Or "what else" before you get done with previous answer. They don't keep up with cooking the ingredients, and clearly don't care. They are more worried about their own drama than customers. The Chips are ALWAYS stale so don't get them. Nobody smiles. They might as well be flippin' widgets on an assembly line. I order ahead online and they have repeatedly messed up my order. As an example tonight I ordered 2 burritos and a burrito bowl. None of our burritos had guacamole, or fajita veggies. The rice was crunchy. The burrito bowl didn't have lettuce and even though I specifically said to go light on the sour cream and cheese they used like three times the normal amount of both. Chipotle has been good about providing us with coupons for free burritos whenever we have complained about this but it just keeps happening. This Chipotle restaurant is really just subpar. They provide basic customer service and they are extremely skimpy on the ingredients at this location except for the rice (of course). I asked for cheese and the person proceeded to put cheese on my bowl like she was giving me dashes of salt. She said she had to do it that way for "portion control"...it took forever for her to finish my bowl. It's the closest one to my house but I always go to the one on Colerain now. I am paying $7+ for this food and I get 95% rice and 5% of the rest of ingredients. They have a lot of work to do at this location. I would like to leave feedback about the Finneytown, Ohio Chipotle location and the unacceptable service we have encountered on more occasions than I can count. My family and I are at the point where instead of traveling 1 mile to the nearest Chipotle, we travel more than 10 miles and 20 minutes out of the way to eat at the Colerain location (which does an exceptional job- more about that later). For perspective, I am a director of food and nutrition for a very large healthcare system in Cincinnati. I am trying to present this email in a manner that I myself, knowing the challenges of managing multiple food operations as well as entry level frontline employees, would want to receive feedback. This email is lengthy but I thought it important to capture the customer perspective in an attempt to promote change rather than just sending a complaint about a poor experience. I will recap my most recent visit, give examples of past experiences, and describe observations about the Finneytown unit as well as the Colerain unit as one is vastly different than the other. I think you will notice some key drivers that may explain the apparent long term deficiencies that are likely reflected in financial and operational standards. To recap my most recent visit. As I mentioned, despite the drive we usually go to the Colerain location however, my husband and I were tired so we decided to compromise. We arrived at 7:30pm. Upon entering the Finneytown location there were approximately 12 people in line in front of me and I thought, "good, this shouldn't take too long". However, as the time passed and the line didn't move I realized I was wrong. By the time I got to the tortilla station I had been standing in line for 21 minutes. The first employee began my order (I was ordering for 3 people). While telling to her my selections another employee further down the line began yelling at a cook to hurry up with the white rice and chicken. It wasn't what she said but the way she said it that caught my attention, it was disrespectful and filled with a negative attitude. I had to repeat my order because the first girl couldn't hear me over the yelling. As my food moved down the line, one station was moving slower than the others so I had to wait to finish telling the first person about my last selection but while doing so the same girl that was yelling, yelled over to me (while I was mid-sentence) and said 'hey, I said what salsas on this?" (Apparently I hadn't heard her the first time). I quickly told her then resumed my order at the first station. She again yelled down while I was talking and said "what else!" I asked her to wait a moment to which she rolled her eyes, huffed, and whispered something to the girl next to her. By the time I got to her station she asked if there anything else needed for my quesadilla and I asked for salsas on the side. She realized she didn't have any soufflé cups so she called for some, all the while her demeanor was as if I was an inconvenience. The line stopped again because checkout was slow so I stayed where I was for several minutes. As I moved down, an employee at the end of the line asked if I needed any chips or salsa and I said no chips but we would like our salsas on the side. Again, the employee that was yelling earlier looked over to me and said "you didn't have to tell her too, I heard you the first time. We waiting on cups still". She then rolled her eyes again and yelled for the cups again. By then I had had enough and I asked her what her name was. She looked and me, laughed and then completely ignored me and began talking to the next customer. I asked her again and she and the girl next to her whispered to each other and again did not answer my question. I finally asked to see a manager (all while still waiting to check out). It took a few more minutes as the line was not moving but they said they needed to get him from the office. A tall bewildered young man that I have seen on other occasions came out said "what?". I asked him the name of the employee in question. He said "her name is Aniah" and then he walked back into the office. He didn't ask if everything was okay, he didn't ask if I needed help, and he obviously didn't notice the line had stopped by the register or the 25 plus people waiting behind me, he just walked back to the office. In the end I asked the cashier his name and left. By the time I walked out of Chipotle it was 8:05pm, some 35 minutes after I got there. Needless, to say I was pretty ticked off by the time I got home. To make matters worse, my husband's burrito was a mess. It was soupy and the tortilla was busted, and they forgot the guacamole. I was so distracted while in line that I didn't notice. To top it off there was a long blonde hair in his last bite. He ended up only eating a few bites before throwing it away. Now, here's the deal. Extremely disappointed with the service you get when they're busy. I made an online order and they failed miserably at it. I asked for sour cream and then in the special instructions box, as I always do, I put extra sour cream. There was not a single scoop of sour cream in my bowl. The whole thing also was made terribly. It looked like it was rushed. There needs to be a station set up behind the front station specifically for online orders. I will not be returning to this Chipotle again.
