I live less than 5 minutes from here. I go out of my way to travel or order from any other location. I've seen one or two decent workers here in years. I avoid going in because the workers are so unbelievably rude. However the only way to ensure your order is not completely botched is to suck it up and go in. Food is usually cooked fine. Every time we order on the mobile Chipotle app for this location we get royally screwed over. I'm done with this location! We always order double meat; legit never get it. Our order is constantly missing multiple things like guac, cheese, and sour cream or is straight up wrong. In addition to missing things, this time there was something spicy in our carnitas bowl as well. 9 1/2 months pregnant, I can do without the heartburn NO thank you very much!!! My child got the wrong items in their meal and also missing their milk entirely. 50$ spent and 2/3rd of the order is completely wrong. Nope. Whoever is working their to-go ..... huge thumbs down. Was reimbursed for a free meal and a free kids meal via the app--- but still, this ruined our evening of convenience and any edible food for the night. I Can't help but be salty about it. I've been here about 4 or 5 times now since they opened in January 2018 (or February 2018 ?). I love this new Chipotle on Clifton Blvd. because it brings another option to the area (note, there is a Chipotle on Detroit Blvd. inside the shopping center in Lakewood). Anyway, this location has ample space to gather with friends or family and it is very clean as well. Since coming here, I've ordered the 3 soft tacos twice (once with chicken and once with steak) and I've also gotten the chicken rice bowl during 2 separate occasions. All the dishes I got were tasty and delicious. If you like rice, beans, meat, tofu, and vegetables then I'm sure you'll love Chipotle. Pick your choice of burritos, tacos, or rice bowl and don't forget your choice of salsa (mild, medium, or spicy). You can even eat healthy by getting brown rice instead of cilantro white rice. Don't forget your guacamole. YUM! The staff I've encountered here have been really friendly and I've even had pleasant conversations with them. My order is always done correctly with honestly no issues. So stop on in, dine in or takeout, and enjoy your meal. Overall, this is a quality Chipotle branch in Lakewood although sometimes the lines are long but I think lines are long at almost every Chipotle I've gone too. Am I right?!?! Went here on the 14th of this month. I ordered online for pick up. This was my second time doing this. The first time was smooth sailing, no issues whatsoever. This time, the place was beyond packed. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or just everyone in the area decided on the same thing for dinner that night, but it was crazy crowded. My order was over a half hour late for pick up. The staff apologized profusely for the wait and was super friendly. My order was delicious as Chipotle always is. My only complaint about the wait, is that due to COVID, they really should find a way to notify online orders if there is a delay. My email confirmation stated my order would be ready at 7:08pm. I got there at 7:10pm and was told there'd be a twenty minute wait. I didn't leave until almost 7:40pm. There were entirely too many people in that small restaurant. Social distancing just wasn't an option and not all customers wear masks properly. I will say the staff did however, which was comforting. But honestly, if I hadn't already paid for my order online, I would've turned around and gone somewhere else for dinner that night. read more

This chipotle is so close to me and I keep trying so hard to give them another chance but at this point I'm a clown. I have ordered here online several times and they never ever give me the guac I order and a few times they also forgot the chips. This time, there was steak in my (vegetarian) sofritas quesadilla and no guac. Not a huge deal for me, but that's a huge food safety thing like what if someone has an allergy. The portions are teeny tiny too. Typically wouldn't care like whatever maybe it's an off day for them, but I tip online and they do me so dirty every single time. I have yet to receive a single order that is correct. I can't even go in and watch them make it for me because I get the sofritas quesadilla, so I guess I can just not get chips and guac at all--or pay for them and still not get them. The amount of times and the extent to which these people are capable of messing up orders is honestly impressive. It is extremely rare that I get what I order from here - it's as if they legitimately can't read. I wouldn't suggest correcting them though, they will give you a nasty look and act as if putting salsa into a container is the most grueling task they've ever encountered. When we arrived at the store around 4:00pm, we were told that the store was only accepting online orders. We placed our orders online and immediately after we placed them, they began taking walk-in guest. We voiced our confusion about why we required to order online when they were serving guests and we were told that they were short staffed at the time. Between the time that we placed our order and they started serving guests that walked in, the same amount of people were on the line. When we arrived, there were at least 4 employees standing around on their phones and talking and laughing amongst themselves, so again, we were confused about not being served. All of the tables were a mess and there was no sense of urgency for them to be so "short staffed". We waited a few minutes then I approached the counter and asked if our online order was prepared because if not, it can be cancelled and we can get in line so it'll be quicker. The employee proceeded to go back and forth with me and insisted that our food would be up shortly and there was no point in getting in line. The employee didn't even try to listen and understand my request of cancelling the online order. It's almost as if she was just waiting to respond or talk over me. We waited 25 minutes for our online order to be prepared while we watched other guests being served. When we finally got our food, it was cold and poorly prepared and looked like it was just thrown together. Definitely not worth the 25 minute wait when we could've been in and out like the other guest that was able to walk in and place their order, as we requested. After seeing the poor quality of my order, I waited in line and asked if my order can be remade. When the same argumentative employee asked why, I responded that it looked like crap and the employee responded "I just watched you sit there and eat the food" when all I did was check it.  I'm assuming the manager interjected and remade the order. I ordered 2 burrito Bowls and Called the restaurant to let them know to add 4 vingretts to the order due to no option to ask or select them on the app. I asked the lady to please don't forget because the last time I ordered I called and they forgot to add them, she said she would put them In the bag. I received my order and when I opened the bag the vinaigrette's were not in there. Also when we opened he bowls the sour cream was super runny like milk, couldn't even pick it up with a fork.. I called the location and asked to speak to a manager and sat on hold for 15 min, so I called back and finally spoke to the manager (Jessica) and she said that's how the sour cream was received by the shipper like that and said what do you want me to do about it and when I let her know we didn't get the vinaigrette's she said well you are more than welcome to come come to pick them up. I let her know I didn't have a way to get them that's why I ordered delivery. She then said very rudely, well it's human error and I don't to know what you want me to do about it. I then said we'll if you can't help me then maybe corporate can. She giggled and responded back I highly doubt that but okay. I'm going to try to keep this very brief since this is a fast food franchise. As far as the the actual food goes, this Chipotle is just as good as any other depending on how much you like Chipotle at base level. The problem I have with this specific location (Clifton Blvd in Cleveland) is that on numerous occasions they do this thing where they get behind and another worker will jump into the serving line and essentially take over like they're the LeBron James of chipotle workers or someone who is already in the serving line will go into take over mode. When this happens they have no regard for how your food is made and only care about making it as quickly and haphazardly as possible which obviously results in a poor quality product. There's also a certain rudeness that is given off when this happens. My recommendation is to avoid this location at busy times/near closing times. read more

1 star. One of the workers kept correcting me when I said "burrito bowl". "It's just a bowl if you don't get a tortilla"' is what he kept telling me. Been going to Chipotle for 20 years. Never in my life have I ever seen anyone put the burrito, complete with a tortilla, in a bowl or dispute with a customer the name of the product. (Yes, it does say "bowl", but I cannot remember the last time I heard someone refer to it simply as such). That defeats the purpose of it even being a burrito bowl. It's the contents of a burrito in a bowl. And he acted like I put a hex on him. And apparently, asking for and receiving cilantro is a sin. "Because it isn't on the menu, we aren't allowed to give it out. And the line worker who put it on your bowl knows better. So don't expect it next time", is what I was told by the woman who cashed me out. Just plain rude for no reason at all. The restaurant is clean, but their service is an affront to any customer who spends their hard earned money there. I have been to this location on multiple occasions. Every time they are out of a protein item and out of the vinaigrette dressing. It's frustrating spending at least 50.00 for bowls to be at the register then finally to be told we are out of certain items. The store doesn't close for a few more hours. The manager then stated, well no one here knows how to make the dressing and we are no going to prepare any more garlic steak for the evening.
