Beware ... went in last night to pick up order that should've been made by the time I arrived. Thank goodness it wasn't. No one was wearing a face mask properly, all down below nose, person on grill mask around neck. The young lady preparing food wiped her nose, adjusted hat and scratched forehead. Never removed gloves , she continued to prepare food as customer with "mask off" leaned on plexi- glass with her hands over the top instructing her prep. Attempted to call management today ... no answer. Will try again tomorrow. This by no means is a reflection on all locations. Even before COVID-19 this location was cringe worthy. Poplar location no better went in 2days later. Overcrowded restaurant and manager with mask off behind counter. read more

Sour white rice. Tasted bad. Liquid fire ghost pepper sauce was put on our bowls/ burrito. Demon came out of my stomach afterwards. Kept me up all night with headaches as well. Stood at the counter in a pretty much empty restaurant while the girl at the register looked at her phone, and two guys behind the counter looked placidly up at me between wandering around in the back. Had a spot of hope when one of them walked up to the counter, but then realized he was looking at something else. Turned around and walked back out. In total, about 2.5 - 3 minutes, all in total silence. Still not convinced any of them knew I was there. The burger I had at Freddy's down the street was delicious though. This was last month (August); I put the same review on Google, and still have not heard back from them. Will not be wasting my time with this place again. I ordered delivery through their app. They forgot my chips so I couldn't eat the queso or guac I had ordered. And they forgot the sofritas in my sofritas bowl!! So glad I finally made it over to this new location. The service was friendly and the food did not disappoint. Love their larger than life made to order burritos. Reasonable price for clean, fresh ingredients. Perfect for a late night stop to keep you full for the rest of the night. This will definitely be a regular stop for good, filling food. read more

I'm very very upset! I drive across country for a living and spend about $15-$20 on Chipotle every single day. I depend on Chipotle to get as close to a clean diet as I can. I placed a online order for 9:40pm at around 6pm today because I've been driving all day to conclude my day with a good workout and then depending on Chipotle to provide the protein and carbs I need to maintain muscle. When I got here, they proceeded to tell me that I need to get a refund on the app because they don't have any meat at all to make my food with. This is so disappointing being that this is what I've been looking forward to all day and now I'm stuck having to find food that goes against the Chipotle ONLY diet I've been on for the last few weeks. I've been a huge supporter of Chipotle for years but this is so disappointing that I truly feel like I now need to carry my business over to Moe's going forward. This is unacceptable especially being that there should always be enough meat made for the entire day and they could have cooked more to make sure all customers are taken care of. With this said.... this will be my first and last time visiting this Chipotle and returning to a Chipotle might not be in my future. For a hungry kid this is a great place! Came in for a burrito and it was loaded! The steak was tender and juicy and they loaded up on the toppings. They also had queso which was great! Burrito was a little hard to keep track of but no complaints - it was good. Only problem was a hunk of avocado in the guacamole that was hard. Simply removed it and kept on eating. The service is pretty consistently bad and if you get an order to go make sure you check to see that everything is what you ordered and all your items are included in your order because you can bet your sweet butt that if you don't do that you will have to return and get your order corrected. This is the worst location I have ever been to in my life when it comes to chipotle. I placed an online order I came to the restaurant and after almost an hour and a half of waiting my order was still not done yet. Every time I checked on it the employees and the management got an attitude with me and that's very unprofessional. There were so many people standing around waiting for their order and the employees were going very slow. The only reason they got 2 starts is because our bowls had the correct ingredients in them, but then again that's on the screen so they should at least get that right. They should only get one star. I ordered online bc I'm required to. I get in to pick up my order their are 9 people working. 3 people preparing orders, the rest just walking around talking loud, on cell phones..... and then they disappear. As I go to grab my order I check the bag, my chips and cheese aren't there, when I ask for them the associate looks me in my eye and says "we ain't got none" like I didn't pay for 2 orders of it! It wasn't even worth asking for a refund bc she didn't seem to care one way or the other and the manager on duty was out back doing whatever the hell they were all doing back there. Then I go to get my drink and the flavor lemonade that I ordered was empty. So 9 people on the schedule and the food is cooking itself, the chips and cheese are out, the lemonade is empty! everyone says that this place is terrible but i think it's great. now, take into account that i'm a 14 year old girl, oldest of four, so i've had to deal with a lot of annoying people and messy areas, but honestly i think it is just as good as any other chipotle. maybe their cheese dip isn't good, but i just don't get cheese dip and i'm fine. i don't put veggies or steak or beans on my burrito, but i think that this is still one of the best restaurants out there. their service is average, not anything spectacular but it's not absolutely terrible. it can be expensive, but i don't have to pay for it so it's not my problem . anyways, highly recommend, just dont complain if you don't like the cheese dip, you asked for it in the first place! read more

I was extremely DISAPPOINTED last night. I made an online order for a bowl and a burrito on 7/10/20. I picked up my order at 9:30pm. I haven't had Chipotle in a while and was excited to try the foods again (plus, I was hungry). The first bite into the burrito was full of DISAPPOINTMENT. The RICE was UNCOOKED. I didn't ask for CRUNCHY RICE. I would be happy to wait for the rice to be fully cooked if Chipotle employees, nicely, inform me of the situation. I suggest Chipotle to communicate more closely with the customer. I rather wait to be happy with the foods I paid for then to be disappointed with high expectations. Most important, Chipotle employees must test/try the foods that they serve to the customers. Use judgments and common senses to determine whether the foods are ready or not to be served. read more

Worst Chipotle experience I've ever had. Ordered delivery and it arrived with the bag dripping sauce. My salad was placed sideways in the bag and the guacamole lid was off and came in a cracked container. Opened my salad and it was COVERED in sour cream, which I specifically did not order; when I say covered I mean all you could taste was sour cream. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD! Went there tonight around 8:45pm and ordered a steak bowl and chicken salad to-go. When I arrived home and began to eat, I bit down on something hard. Assuming it was a hard bean, I spit it out and to my surprise it was a BEETLE!!!!! A f****ing BEETLE! I rushed back to the store and demanded a refund. Xavier, who I assume is a shift leader because he had no type of manager-like manners, refused to give me a refunded because I didn't have the card I paid for the food with. I suggested a cash refund since I was inconvenienced, he said "No I can't do that, I would lose my job." But he had time to make me fill out some bullshit incident report. He didn't seem to care that I found A BEETLE in my food! Shortly after leaving with no resolution, he called me about 5-7 mins later saying he could now give me a cash refund. It's funny that I was here twice in one week and both times were equally as bad. Bad service, shitty attitudes by employees and the managers on duty at the time. Both times out of product and when you say you'll wait you get straight up shit attitude. If I'm paying for extra meat then keep your damn attitude in check. If I ask for cheese then I expect cheese not a sprinkle. If I ask for queso and I'm paying for it, it should not look like they dug it out of the trash last week all clumped and chunky together. Nasty looking shit for sure. I absolutely love how we stood and waited to be helped for like 5 minutes and never got a greeting or a we'll be right with you. No just got shit and big F you attitude. I always love chipotle, one of my favorite places to eat as a picky vegetarian! this location and the East Memphis location are the two closest to me, I went to this one tonight, and ordered my usual; a cheese quesadilla with rice, simple right? The girl who went down the line kept giving me looks when i said i didn't want meat and i just wanted rice and cheese, she mumbled all of her words, didn't welcome me just a "what can i get you" and when i asked for both rice she gave me a rude look, when I asked for a small cup of guacamole she only filled it up halfway, so I had to ask another worker to finish it off, this wasn't a rush either, it was just me and my dad on the line; I wasn't happy with this experience. Even though this location is more convenient, I would much rather go to the East Memphis location. Food is good as usual though! read more

It's sad when you visit the same location twice and get bad service...twice. The first visit was a month or so ago. I ordered a salad bowl with lettuce on the bottom...guess what...."we're out of lettuce"....at 7PM? I turn to my wife and say let's go somewhere else. The staff was surprised that I wanted lettuce that badly...it is called a "Salad Bowl"..obviously I want lettuce. The worst came this evening..our second and last visit to this location. Wife and I [w/ our 2 year old] ordered burrito bowls and we requested double rice, double fajitas, double corn, and double mild salsa...the staff was only putting in 1 1/8 of the spoon instead of double. Than he had the nerve to say that "it's piling up and going to spill"...I said "let it spill"...been ordering the same thing for years. Once we sat down and my wife began digging into her bowl while feeding our 2 year old, in her 3rd spoon she found a curly hair buried into her chicken...that spoon was headed to our 2 year old's mouth before she caught it. My wife has straight hair...I have no hair :(. I immediately informed the cashier who informed the manager. The manager was very apologetic and polite and offered to rebuild us new bowls from a new batch of chicken they made. She remade the bowls using the new batch while disposing of the old batch. That was all......now is it just me or is the standard restaurant protocol is to offer credit for the order. I wasn't even looking for a credit for mine, but considering the chicken in my bowl was from the same batch as my wife's both should have been credited. I did not ask because it should be automatically understood which is the reason I've complained to corporate and posting my review. Any negative feedback posted by other yelp users are 100% accurate. Wished I read them before visiting this location. We will no longer visit this location again...it's dead to me under any circumstances. read more

Oh my! I usually love Chipolte. Is it this location? Is the owner absent? I've been 4 times, the last 3 times the chips were stale. Like cardboard stale. I even asked the cashier if the chips were fresh, of course she said yes. Got home with my takeout order, guess what? Stale chips. I also asked them several times to go light on the sour cream, they dumped an entire giant spoon full all over my order. This franchise needs review and new training. The crew there is young and dumb, they need a little passion, pride in their food. They also are very bad about putting enough meat on my order. 5 little chicken chunks? Come on guys, for your prices I want a fair amount of chicken on my order. And one last thing, the lettuce is wimpy and brown. It tastes like the decoration lettuce they use at Kroger to display fruit. Can you use more of the heart of the lettuce instead of the scraps that most chefs throw away? There, I'm done.
