I was so disappointed in this eating experience. Firstly, the cashier was not even trying to be polite. It was as though she was being held against her will. Ok, weird but maybe an off day. Proceed to place and order without toasted bread and Mac and cheese as a side. Food comes rather quickly and my bread was toasted. I checked the ticket...it said not toasted. Alright, I'm in a hurry so I've gotta shove food down my gullet and move it. Bite into the Mac and cheese and it was COLD. This concluded my dining experience. The food was pretty good. The name says it all... Chicken salad but you can have it in many different flavors. I had the "Kickin" and the "Jalapeño" and both were delicious. I also had a side of soup but it was pretty tiny. Rachel waited on us and she was very welcoming and informative. Great job Rachel. I even watched as she went to an elderly woman's table and offered to take her walker while she ate if the customer would like. The woman seemed very glad that Rachel did that and it was extremely thoughtful and kind. All-in-all, the food was tasty, the restaurant clean, and Rachel knocked it out of the park with her customer service skills and smile. I visited Chicken Salad Chick on opening day, but around 7pm. Therefore, I was able to walk right up to the counter and order right away. I was not familiar with the menu, but was able to easily narrow down my choices. I decided on the Kickin Kay Lynne, which featured sriracha and bacon, which I missed when reading the description. That was a welcoming surprise when I opened up my sandwich. I found the croissant to be very flavorful and the portion of the chicken salad to be great. I did not think it was spicy at all and the lettuce and tomatoes provided an excellent balance. I went with the tomato basil soup and found that to be very savory & tasty as well. I had purchased a "Giving Card" to give money to charity, but didn't realize I had to enter the promo code before 12/31 even though the rewards started in January. Sweet Sonya at the register had me talk to the Asst Mgr (Andrew I believe was his name - I should've looked closer but I was in shock he was so kind!!) who honored the rewards. Aside from the fact that the staff doesn't double check tickets when they run food out (bringing food with missing items, utensils, not prepared correctly, all of which happened today and frequently) the main problem I've encountered multiple times is a woman named Stacey. She has a major attitude and acts like working with the public is literally going to kill her... I get it and if that's the way she feels, maybe BOH would suit her better OR even another job where she doesn't deal with people all day. I digress.. she brought my food out today without a fork so I asked her for one and she stood behind me and said and I quote "driving me f**king crazy." This is not the first time she has acted this way, today I was hoping she wouldn't be the one taking my order because of previous experiences. Please do not offer delivery as an option if you will not deliver it. I ordered food and its now 50 minutes past the original delivery time. This is ridiculous considering that the total for my order was already debited from my account. I placed the order through the app and have received no notification that my food has even been picked up. I also called the store several times and my calls were never answered, which is incredibly unprofessional. At this point you all are playing around with my wallet and my stomach.
