Well, I haven't been to Chipotle in two months. I ordered a chicken burrito. I arrived 5 minutes early and my burrito was already cold. The chicken? Every piece was overcooked gristle-like jerky from the bottom of the grill. I think it was what they were supposed to toss what they cleaned but they used it instead. I have some bad burritos. It's always busy whenever we come here and we've never had a problem, but there wasn't very much meat in the chicken burrito this time!

As one of the more "healthier" fast food restaurants I'm very disappointed in our Chipotle in town. With the bigger portions you would think they would have a good amount of protein in their bowls but there was maybe 7 pieces of carne asada. We bought enough where we got a free quesadilla and there was over twice the amount of meat on that than my bowl. This isn't the first or second time either. The only reason we went this last time was because we were supporting the Mingus Volleyball team. read more

If you run out of everything put a sign on the door or close the restaurant... Stopped by for the first time on 10/8 around 7pm for dinner. After waiting for 5 minutes we ordered a bowl and tacos. They started making our bowl when we realized they were out of fajita mix which happens and wouldn't have been a big deal but they were out of everything. They didn't have fajitas, lettuce, guacamole, corn, pico, medium, or sour cream. Unless you order meat, beans and rice you were out of luck. The worst part was that they didn't mention anything to people as they entered the restaurant. They just let you stand in line for 5-10 minutes before finding out they had nothing and weren't offering a discount. Worst Chipotle Ever! read more

Eaten here a couple times, food is good but small portions compared to all the other chipotles I've been too. Employees have always been nice but none of them know how to rolls burrito ends up being a small ball, I just reroll it when I get home. A couple of times they have run out of some ingredients but that hadn't happen the last couple times I've been there. read more

Food is great but the meat serving size was very small compared to what I've experienced in the Los Angeles area. Seems like they are skimping on that. Also, I ordered a salad and only found out as I was getting ready to pay that they had run out of salad dressing. Only because I asked did they say I could wait 5 minutes while they made more. They should warn customers they are out of something key like that beforehand. I will try them again and hope it's better next time. read more

I walked in to pick up an order made gor me by a friend wgile i was still at work. After getting off work, we arrived late for the scheduled pick up. After waiting 20 mins, we spoke to a manager regarding our order, since our friend ordered it, we weren't sure what name he put the order under and he wasn't reachable. We were at that point disregardeð, excused, and told that unless we knew the EXACT name the order was made under, we wouldn't be getting an order. There was no solution, they weren't even eilling to look under the 3 names it could have been under. No resolution. read more

We have made four attempts to go there now and every time there is literally one person taking your order and making it then ringing you up and every time I ask if they're shorthanded or something, they just give me this like shrugged look Last time went took over a half hour to get our food. I believe in second chances, but the his WAS the second chance. Placed a digital order and arrived at the drive through lane to pick it up as the app instructed. Waited 5 min at the window without see any sign of human life. Gave up, went inside. Terrible service, no communication about whether my order had even been started. The staff worked on in-person orders even though my order had been placed before these folks even set foot in the store. After waiting 20 minutes in the store watching others be served while they had already taken my money, I went and asked for a refund. I was told by the cashier that she'd love to help me but she doesn't know how to refund in the app and she is working the line and needs to help those people. I asked her to locate an employee who would help me. I hen she went to the back and returned with my food which as obviously been sitting in his whole time. Done even bother ordering here. read more

Chipotle has just opened up in Cottonwood, Arizona. It is worth the visit because it is a reputable chain with quality ingredients, but it is still a new establishment with much room to grow. The Cottonwood location still has a lot of room for improvement. In particular, it needs to work on cleanliness and efficiency. Besides a specific Chipotle location in Phoenix on a hectic night, the Cottonwood Chipotle is the slowest and least clean Chipotle I've been to. Since they opened, I have habitually visited Cottonwood Chipotle once or twice a month. I had to wait a minute for every visit, but the employees were polite but not outstanding. I was waiting in line once when a customer accidentally knocked over a glass. It was a big mess, but none of the employees came to help. The food has been good, but not the mind-blowing flavors I'm used to. Reviews complain about many ingredients being out of stock and online orders taking a long time to prepare. Management should pay attention to the facts behind these negative reviews and do everything they can to address the concerns to improve their reviews. Chipotle remains one of my favorite restaurant chains due to its quality and safety, but the Cottonwood location still needs time and effort to improve. As a chain, Chipotle has very high standards that many have come to trust, but this location must work hard to attain or perhaps regain that trust. read more

This place is a hot mess- they'll let you stand in their huge lines just to find out that they're out of everything when it's your turn to order. I hate to say this but they need to hit a reset button on expectations for their employees and let them go if they don't want be there. This community was excited for this new addition only to be a huge disappointment. The one in Sedona is slightly better, at least their employees don't seem to hate their jobs. Chipotle used to be in regular rotation, definitely not anymore. Someone please fix this place! read more

Pass this restaurant by. It is a typical Northern Arizona Chipotle location with dirty dining, dirty food service area, dirty restroom, out of ingredients, and checkout that would not bag our to go order - we did that ourselves. We waited over fifteen minute in a short line to find out they were out of cheese and tortilla chips. Why not tell customers in line? Why not post a sign on your door or close the place. Does this hurt your business? YES! Customers who heard you were out of ingredients left immediately. Here a a few suggestions for Chipotle corporate leadership: 1) Replace the responsible management for your Northern Arizona locations - Cottonwood, Sedona, and Prescott Valley, etc. 2) Before a location runs out of an ingredient, send someone out to pick it/them up from the grocery store - other fast food restaurants do this 3) Manage your locations to be customer first, clean, properly supplied, and show that you appreciate our store team members - you did this in the beginning. You need your startup mentality back. read more

Well the thrill is gone ;( went there today for lunch around 1:45pm on friday they were not that busy. We were the second couple closest to the window where you start to order the kitchen was a disarray people touching their faces with their gloves, and then touching the food, tables dirty , the beverage area scattered with lids and trash it was just a mess, as we were ordering, there was about a tablespoon of the corn, relish/corn salsa in the metal tin on the table. I asked if I could have more and the gentleman Young Boy said " no we don't have anymore, This is all we have" my reply to him was are you kidding me? This is chipotle you're supposed to be fully stocked where are the standards? Where is the manager to uphold the standards? I went to the store Tueday Oct.08 to get food for our family.I sttod at counter waiting while Three employees stood around talking but would come to the counter to take my order.Another employee walked by and went to a prep table and started wiping it off while I still waited.There were 9 employees in the back but not one came to take my order.I finally left and went to a real Mexican restaurant where I was greeted and served immediately.If I could give the store a 0 rating I would.The Manager should be terminated.I will never go back again. read more

I was excited to see the new Chipotle restaurant open in Cottonwood. I love their burritos and have frequented their restaurants in many locations in the past. Since this is a chain restaurant, wouldn't they be held to strict corporate business practices? Unfortunately, they proved to be like many other businesses in Cottonwood, AZ where customer service is almost nonexistent. I placed my order in the App to save time and picked up my order at the drive-thru. I was the 5th car in line and waited 40 MINUTES to get my food. 40 MINUTES! The burrito was good but rolled up loosely and fell apart about halfway through eating it. A minor inconvenience. There was no ordering menu or station typical of a drive-thru. Your order is taken at the one window where you would normally pick up and pay for your food, which meant each car in line took 8 to 10 minutes (or longer depending on the size of their order) unless they previously ordered online or in the App. This experience was extremely frustrating, and they should seriously reconsider their drive-thru process. read more

I ate at chipotle in many states and locations from CA to AZ for many years. this was the worst experience. we waited in a long line 2 days ago and i was excited to try this new location as the closest is in Sedona which is 25 mins from me. They were OUT of 5 items on the maneu! 5 ! and the chick that was serving said oh we are just out.. Like really? you increase your price to $9.50 for a chicken burrito and you are out of Chicken, Fajitas, gaucamole, pico de gallo and cheese. and the rest of the meats look dry and unappetizing and not fresh. I have never seen anything like that! AND THEY ARE NOT IN A HURRY to make these items or replace them with something else. I literally just walked out in frustration after starting a bowl... because it would have been just rice, beans and lettuce... pathetic. please get your act together asap and get better employees who care and prepare the items well in advance... read more
