Really awful experience. We ordered for pickup, was said to be ready at 12:10. Got there right on time but didn't get our food till 12:30. They handed us the bag and the bottom was completely soaked with vinaigrette we got. The container was on its side and completely empty, causing it to spill everywhere. The newly opened Chipotle 905 workman way Davenport,Florida is absolutely horrible. I arrived about an hour after they opened hoping they finished making all new fresh cooked food. When I got up to the counter I hesitated to order as everything looked very old & dried out. I took a chance because I did not have time to stop anywhere else as I was running late. BIG MISTAKE I will never go back there. All the food trays had very little food in them so when the girl made my bowl she was putting very little child size portions. When I started eating everything was Luke warm and completely tasteless like they forgot to put spices. I'm sure they were using yesterday's left overs because certainly was not fresh made food. Disappointing! Service was extremely slow and my food sit there waiting for the next person for 8 minutes. By the time I got it home my food was cold. I recently visited the Chipotle in Posner Park and had an absolutely terrible experience. The dining room was filthy, and the staff seemed completely incompetent. They moved extremely slow and did not work as a team. It was clear that management was nonexistent, and the restaurant was being run by unprofessional and untrained employees. To make matters worse, I waited over 40 minutes for just two bowls. When the girl finally made them, she wrote on the top of the lid with a sharpie and then wiped it off with her glove hand that was slimy with guacamole and sour cream. She then tried to write on the lid again, but the marker did not leave any ink because of all the grease on the lid, so she wiped it off again. This was disgusting to watch, and then she went right back to serving food with the same glove. The other girl handled food and also the register, handling cash money and food at the same time. They were talking and laughing directly over the trays, and I could see the spit spray coming out of their mouths onto all of the food. I have never seen such a poorly run operation in my entire life. This experience was extremely frustrating and unsanitary. I hope that Chipotle takes immediate action to address these issues and improve their restaurant. I will not be returning to this location, and I would caution others to do the same. I wish I can give it negative stars it does not even deserve the one star that the site forces you to at least leave. read more

I used to love Chipotle, but this location has really soured me on the restaurant chain. I was so excited to finally have a location within 15 minutes of my home when this one opened a couple years ago. I was also excited because this one has a "Chipotlane" where you don't have to get out of the car to get your burrito. Anyone else who has a child in a car seat can totally understand the importance and convenience of being able to order in advance and pick up your food without having to take your child out of the car seat, go inside, wait in line, etc. However, I have yet to have a positive experience at this location. The first time I went, we ate inside and they just seemed really short staffed and the dining room was dirty and in disarray. The second time I went, they were out of chicken and so I had to get something else, which wasn't the end of the world, but frustrating nonetheless. The next time I went I ordered to pick up through the "Chipotlane" and I waited over 30 minutes in line. The line was wrapped around the building and was blocking people who were parked and trying to exit the restaurant. I sat in 1 spot for 15 minutes. Why didn't they have that person pull forward or come in because clearly there was an issue with their order. This week I once again waited an exorbitant amount of time in the Chipotlane and upon arrival home found there to be hardly any meat in my burrito. I was over 1/2 way through the burrito before I found any barbacoa. Not only that, but the rice had so much cilantro is was ridiculous. It just didn't taste good. Finally, like all things the prices have really increased and at almost $10 for a burrito or bowl it should have substantial protein and taste good. I'm just disappointed. read more

This location has BIG problems. Other reviews indicate poor service and food quality issues too. Once again I had to argue with a manager to walk over to the online order/drive up line so I could have rice, or something else the walk in line didn't have. Last time it was queso. They always prioritize the drive up/online order line, even though you're physically standing there. You could literally order online and come pick it up and they'd have it, but because you're actually there, you can't have it. All they had to do was walk over and get a scoop of rice. Instead the manager wanted to argue with me, going as far as trying to make me feel bad because his employee was pregnant. Giving the customer a simple request has nothing to do with that. It was literally the easiest request. Other customers were leaving, probably because of the fact that there was no rice (and other things ) on the line, and probably because he was trying to argue and embarrass me. As if it was ok that a giant amount of people didn't get food that was available in the store, just not in the right line. People were leaving because when they come to chipotle, they want what they want. All I wanted after an extremely long day was for the same efforts to be made that I have to make. It was literally as simple as getting a scoop of rice. In the end after 5 minutes of back and forth, he got some rice for me. Literally could have just prevented that by providing a decent customer experience. The manager in the end wanted to comp it, which I refused. I'm not after free stuff. Lesson 1: If it's the beginning of a dinner rush, don't put trainees who have never worked a line before on a serving line. They belong in pots and pans or prep cooks. Lesson 2: Train your teams and lead by example. Don't just be a Manager. Be a leader that they can aspire to become someday. Work the line during a rush. Lesson 3: RICE. If you are a Tex-Mex joint and you run out of rice during a dinner rush, I've waited 35 mins in a line to get to the front before you say there's no white rice and there will be a TWENTY minute wait...I just don't have the words for the Management at this place. This was our first visit to this newer location and we have not been to one of their restaurants in a very long time. Since there are now 2 locations fairly close to us I wanted to try them again as a couple of the places we do go have been slipping in service and or quality and are a greater distance. For a quick service place they perform fairly well. To be fair I mention that they are still fairly new with clearly ongoing training going on and they are extremely busy. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon and there was a line that only got longer once we were there and never slowed while we ate inside. My first impression was that I hated the parking lot which may not be their fault but it was hard to get into and is one way around. They do have dedicated spaces for people that order in the app. Once inside the line was moving a bit slow but they had several employees who all looked busy. When it was our turn they switched the person taking orders to someone faster and clearly more experienced. My companion got a burrito, which is their usual from this type of establishment. They got chicken with black beans, brown rice and the works except salsa. They loved it. I went a new way for me as I have never been truly happy with their burritos. So I got a bowl which was way more food it seemed than an ordinary burrito, plus less carbs for me. I got the brown rice, black beans and I decided to try the barbacoa, with hot salsa, pico, cheese and lettuce. We also used the mild Tabasco for a bit more flavor. I was apprehensive at first but I really enjoyed all the flavors. So they will get my repeat business. On the down side was the parking lot, and we had trouble finding a semi clean place to sit and eat once we had our food. To their credit while we were sitting and eating and the line was to the door they had someone out sweeping and cleaning tables. My only other trouble was that the cashier was talking to another employee and had to be told 3 times what our order was. On the board they show a regular or large drink but the cashier and the receipt said we got a small each. A bit confusing. Also there are no clearly marked prices anywhere that I noticed. I felt that our food was a bit expensive compared to similar places that also give you chips with your meal while here you pay extra if you want them, Since the food was really good I will not begrudge them the higher price, especially when my choices are limited. This was a big improvement over past experiences and I hope as things get better they will get another star from me. The food was worth 5 but not the rest. Also they have no WiFi. read more

I guess there was an employee convention or something because I counted at least 14 people behind the counter. I was standing along with other customers waiting for them to take my order as they were all laughing and talking to one another. The guy that starts the order was facing us and ignoring us. We waited for a few minutes (the employees saw the customers enter) No apology for leaving the customers waiting, when it was time to add the toppings the skinny blonde girl working was still conversing with all her coworkers. This is the worst location I have ever visit. I've had too many issues with them until I refuse to ever visit again. I've ordered online to get empty treys because they're always out of something. And instead of asking if we'd like to replace with something else, they will literally just leave empty. My youngest love chipotle rice and it's literally all she likes, almost every Friday I would always get her a side of rice and this is literally the only location that overcharges for wanting to add more rice to that already tiny scoop of rice they put. I'm giving this location 3 stars only because the manager I spoke with was very kind, his customer service was on point. Now as for the other employees that I have interacted with, twice they picked the phone up and hung it up before even saying hello. I was calling regarding a delivery that was completely wrong. So that was very much icing on the irritating cake. I totally understand orders can be slightly off, I realize we are all human, but I ordered a vegetarian burrito and I got a chicken one. So imagine the surprise when I bit into that! We (customers) order delivery when we are feeling lazy lol. Did I want to leave my house to go there to get the correct order? No. Did I have to? Yes. This is regarding the Manager that was working during my visit (12/12/22 @ 7:31pm). This individual was not helping his team out whatsoever. The line inside was 10 people deep and the mobile pick up window was very busy too. There was only one person serving food and she was also cashing people out. The manager was just walking around pretending to be busy when his team is working very hard. He even chatted with one of his friends that came in for a while. He was even snapping at his team members telling them to step it up. This was all in front of everyone in the restaurant. My husband and i went to Chipotle on 8/18 around 700pm. The person in front of us ordered the pollo Asiago, as we did as well and the guy behind us. I saw the worker put a full spoonful of meat on the persons bowl in front of me, then a half spoonful on mine and my husbands bowl. I asked the guy in front of me if he asked for double meat and he said no. He said he saw she didn't give us the same BUT gave a full spoonful to the guy behind us as well!! I asked for extra meat for both me and my husband, but not without a look of disgust from the server who was not very friendly to start with. They lady was very sweet and they packed my bowl with a lot; which isn't uncommon when you order a veggie bowl. You will wait easily an hour for a takeout order that you ordered ahead of time and no one will even make eye contact with you to ask what your waiting for.
