Horrible Experience and Scary!!!  Walked in and the guy took a good minute before he put his gloves and stared at me. No welcome No how can i help just stared. Anyhow I said may I have 4 bowls please all white rice and pinto beans except 1 with out beans.  He threw the food in the bowl splashing everywhere. He said what protein each meal? I said I rather give you my order 1 by 1 because I have had bad experience in the past and my orders have been wrong. OMG I must of said something wrong because he rolled his eyes and put his hands in his waist MAD shaking his head.  I asked "Are you ok" he said yes why I responded because your being very rude and throwing my food in the bowl.   We continued with the order and he was still rolling his eyes and he almost got my 4 orders wrong ‍At this point I just wanted to get out of there I felt ABUSED and missed treated I paid for my order and asked to speak to the manager. As soon as he heard me say that he was mumbling something refused to give me his name nor did he had a name badge or anything so I took a picture. He was fuming came across the cashier desk to confront me almost snached my phone. I was SCARED for my life NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO OR RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION  As soon as the manager came out the guy continued to help others, still giving attitude to others who were at no fault ‍ It was apparent that the worker is a bully even the manager didn't know how to react all she said was ill have a talk with him. Poor Staff for Management hope they train their workers to provide Excellent Customer Service because at the end of the Day I'm paying for my food is not Free.  After many years coming here is unfortunate but it will be my last from a person who was there almost weekly and spend $60 - 80 each time not to mentioned the catering for my businesses no more from this location you don't have my business nor money. Went in at night around 845pm and that was a mistake. I wanted to try their brisket. Long story short, very small portions along with having burnt small pieces. Maybe it was like that because, they ran out or it was going to close in a couple of hours. Everything else was cold too and stale (Rice, Tortillas). Don't go to Downey location after 8pm. Im not one to complain but inflation along with bad food is not ok. I would of rather of them cancelled my order saying food is running out and not fresh. read more

My boyfriend and i should have turned back around the moment we saw dust all over the walls. While waiting 30 minutes in line (only 4 people ahead of us) the employees were joking around and too busy chit chatting as if they were in highschool. We are finally next and there was no chicken. Mind you the chicken was in the back getting literally burnt (no employee over the grill btw)! they were out of rice and we had to wait longer until our order could be taken. Place overall was messy and seriously unprofessional, there were plenty of employees but all too immature to handle work. I would understand if they were short staffed but given these conditions, thats not the case we are certainly not coming back here again. I just came from this restaurant. There was one clerk working, and I had three orders of food. I received absolutely no protein, sofritas on my salad, maybe a spoonful. My chicken bowl also lacked meaningful protein. She was all by herself until 2 guys peak out from the back. I paid almost $40 just to still be starving. This service was a JOKE. This place has always been my go to spot near my home. No complaints on the food BUT we went on Saturday around 9:30pm and the young guy helping us (couldn't see his name) was RUDE. Horrible body language and demeanor was very unprofessional. As we ordered our bowls his responses were blunt and rude with an annoyed face, as if we were an inconvenience coming in. Our orders were not complicated at all mind you. Young guy, ear piercings, and full low beard. Def ruined the mood of getting good food. read more

This review is 100% for Sam's service! Came in today 7/31 around 7pm and Sam greeted us with a smile (so rare these days). Even with a long line, he was friendly & engaging while still managing to get the orders out as quickly as possible. I know the job isn't easy having to deal with so many customers, but he delivered above & beyond service today. I hope Chipotle takes care of this guy because he is a GEM of an employee! read more

What is going on with this location? I've been a customer for 5+ years and the past few months everything has changed. The line is always long after 5 pm. Be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes to order. Food is hit and miss and they may be out of what you want. No rice or no protein. Soda machine may not be working. Employees seem over worked and stressed. They will rush you and pile on tiny portions. If you ask for more it's only a tiny scoop. The whole place is dirty and restrooms are horrible! This last time I went I was given no receipt. Don't order through the app because portions s will be small and you may get someone else's food. The rice is sometimes crunchy and inedible. The last order I purchased I had to throw away. The carnitas was all fat and the meat was crispy like it had been there for many hours. Steve was amazing. I have never had a 10/10 chipotle experience until I came to this place. At other chipotles, the workers give me dirty looks but at this chipotle, they actually gave me smiles. The most disgusting bathroom I have ever been in.... Literal sh*t smeared on the toilet seat. The other stall was completely clogged. The smaller stall, you have no room, like at all. I'm thin too, 5'5 at 120 pounds... so if you're bigger than I am, good luck. Stall was also out of toilet paper. Really like how they are assisting customers during the pandemic, it is very organized and clean. If they charge you, as soon as they're done, they wash their hands and put on a new pair of gloves. I love Chipotle but find myself disappointed nearly every time I visit this location. I usually order a veggies burrito and the size of my burrito is always about 1/3 smaller than any other Chipotle I go to. Not sure if it's because I don't choose the meat option, but it's not great. I'd give a higher score if the employees were nice or heloful. They make fun of ppl who r different, walk differently, etc. That's disability discrimination. Everytime I've been there they've made fun of me. I tend to walk different and need a small cart to maintain my balance and they always make degrading comments including thinking I'm homeless bc of my walker(cart). I've said something to corporate but obviously they didn't do anything bc it keeps happening. It's unprofessional and ilegal but they don't stop there. They make degrading comments about overweight ppl too. I've heard them. The foid is great most of the time but it doesn't make up for staff's treatment. There isn't a place for disabled to sit. The chairs r hard wo much support and assistance devices block the walkway bc they have narrow walkways. Whoever owns it doesn't care about meeting the disabled accessible standard at all. I checked the term and conditions and it says that u can use it at any participating store. When the "manager" and tried it, she said i have to at least buy $5 worth of food.. which is weird cuz we just bought 4x worth of food and made sure to scan it before we pay. Love chipotle will start getting my burrito single wrapped with no rice to lower the carbs and heavy feeling and add pico de gallo. Quality ingredients great taste.
