Love chipotle will start getting my burrito single wrapped with no rice to lower the carbs and heavy feeling and add pico de gallo. Quality ingredients great taste. The only bad thing is that so girl gave me attitude because I didn't order fast enough. I haven't been here a while. They give you a long list or options all together. I went there at exactly 9:00 on tuesday and there was this girl with like some ratchet burnt hair anyways this woman gave me attitude just because i ordered chips and guacamole she said and i quote "of course they get chips and guacamole" like ok?? let me be a big back if i want to? and also the workers there looked depressed , the station did not look clean at all. Usually chipotle locations are clean, well stocked. This was messy and dirty. No white rice and no corn tortillas so I had to get flour and brown rice. The preparer stared Chipotle will no carry corn tortilla any longer. Not sure why rice was out though. Service here is always terrible. All the workers look miserable. I used to go to the one off Lakewood but that one is the same. They always try to give you the least amount of food possible. When I went a few days ago they ran out of chips and I asked when they would have chips again and the cashier just said, "I don't know." Also my burrito was poorly made. Chipotle needs to hire better people cause everyone that they hire sucks. The two Downey locations are some of the worst chipotles I've been to and I've been to a lot. read more

The food is terrible. It used to be good consistently but the past 4 months it's awful. Rice is undercooked, carnitas is fat, or all dried out. Tortilla chips are stale and so are taco shells. I'm amazed with how horrible my experience was. I walked in today at 09:05pm well before closing . I asked for a salad and a bowl. Once my two got to the meats he said there was no more steak and no more will be made. I was like ok. The. I asked for the chorizo that's being promoted like crazy. They had none. So I finally got chicken for both. When we got to the end they said they have no more guac or queso. I was like what ? Then once I paid I went to get a Dr Pepper , and that was out too. I agree with the person who said this is the worst Chipotle bowl they ever tasted. Mine is so gross...I'm starving right now because I haven't had anything to eat in more than 24 hours, but even I don't want to eat any more of my bowl because it is bad. The food is super cold and tastes like it's been sitting around for a long time. The only thing that has semblance of flavor is the steak, but it's COLD. The beans taste like they came from the can, and the guacamole has no flavor. It tastes like the gross guacamole you get from the grocery store. I am not happy at all, and I know what Chipotle is supposed to taste like because I have been to many other locations. It's like they didn't even try. The portion size here is also WAY smaller than other locations because at the other restaurants a bowl is equal to at least 2 meals for me. This slop is small and barely edible. Do better, please. Last time I come here. I used to really like this location. Last two times I have come here, they have had issues with their system that they can only take online orders and not walk in orders. So you smell the food, get a big craving and can't eat at that time. And they don't even try to compensate for the inconvenience- twice!! Now I came again today and they only three options of meat, not the one I was craving and when I asked for fajitas, I got very little cause there wasn't enough. And again, no compensation for the continued inconvenience. These incidents have only been within a month. They used to be cool and would give you a couple of bucks off or an extra item and that's what kept me coming back cause they were considerate in that way. Dude every time I stop by here the service is always amazing. I am always excited to come to this specific location because the people here have consistently great attitudes. I was here on 1/23/2019 at around 6:15 PM with my sister and my mom, and my mom can't really eat tough meat. So we were in line and we got 3 bowls, and the workers were SUPER HELPFUL. I was explaining to my mom the types of meats they got from the chicken to steak to barbacoa and the workers were readily explaining everything as I went and I felt so relieved -cries- When I had questions about the spiciness levels of the salsa, they were knowledgeable about how spicy it was. I didn't even know that the corn was a little spicy lol and I've been here for like years. I almost made my mom suffer by almost getting the corn Jesus. (My mom also can't eat spicy food.) So I went in and ordered in store, so excited to finally eat my chipotle salad WITH vinaigrette dressing and first they didn't give it to me with my order so I had to go back and ask for it, when the cashier checked, they didn't have any up front so she asked the guy making orders in the back and they simple let me know they had ran out. This has always been my favorite chipotle. They're always attentive to the line and help out fairly quickly. I would say my last three visits have been less than what I expect from them. Steak has always been my favorite but I've had to turn to chicken. Recently every time I order their steak, it's chewy, has fat that wasn't trimmed off, and the cut sizes are all over the place. Also, the portioning is extremely inconsistent. I've had it explained to me that the regular portion is one 4oz scoop. Recently they do a scoop where you shake off half the meat then feel bad it wasn't enough and scoop up a couple of more pieces to throw in there or they do like half a spoonful and another "half" a spoonful. I don't want extra and I don't want to be skimped. Please just train everyone to be consistent and fix whatever is going on with your steak!!!!! read more

I've been ordering from here for about 8 years now. I don't know what it is about this location but they cannot seem to get an order right. About 95% of the time I order for pick up from here, the order is wrong. Either I'm missing a piece of the order (like the taco I was missing both this week And last week, an ingredient is missing or an ingredient I didn't want is included. I am addicted to Chipotle, I can't deny it. This particular location gives slightly larger portions than the other Chipotles I frequent (not that any of the others are stingy). I love how easy it is to place an online order, and by the time I drive there approx 12 mins later, its ready for me to grab and go on the shelf next to the cashier! They have never got my complicated order wrong, and always hot & tasty. I just wish that chipotle in general would stop charging for guac, and would open earlier; which is why I docked a star. read more

Waited in line for over 30 minutes. As could be seen through the photo I posted, they had two line workers and a cashier (that kept disappearing) for over 30 people in line! We get up there and try to order three items of carnitas (due to spices, this is all my kids and mom can eat). "We are out of carnitas." Okay, how long until there is more? "Oh, we don't have it at all." Of course I was upset. I asked if there was a sign I missed somewhere because that is all they can eat. Her response "Well, if you need a moment, please step back so I can help the next person." I go ask for a manager who gives me a song and dance about how it is a regional shortage, etc. I express that that is okay but when you have a 30+ minute line, an announcement needs to be made. Every 15 minutes or so yell out "Just to let you know, we do not have carnitas tonight" and/or post a sign. Her response, "sorry, how about I comp you a kids meal?" WTF????? I declined but she gave me a BOGO (woo hoo... not.) Not that hard, just yell out letting people know. Making people wait that long and you are missing one of your most popular entrees?
