Right on Rt 18 and very close to urban air and other shops : very nice parking facilities .. wasn't too crowded when we went .. service was good because of that :.. nice space inside to sit and eat . There were also tables and chairs outside .. Kids are always big fans of chipotle . We like their rice bowl . quantity of food in this location was great . In some locations they just put very little rice and bean . the quantity was good in this location . Veggie bowl was good . Quantity was a little less rice and bean etc . This is a 0 star. I went in not too long ago and paid 55 dollars for takeout and was rushed through the line that was non existent. I get speed is important in that industry and that's what they're trying to do. However, when there's nobody behind me and they're rushing me and I have an order for four people. I am looking to have a little bit better service than I received. They forgot the guacamole on one order I asked did you put guacamole on that? I was told I didn't tell him guacamole but I did. That's neither here or there instead of fixing it. They put it on the side, which is not exactly what I wanted not the biggest deal. If they weren't rushing with no line I would have forgotten to write this. I've never had a problem at chipotle before, but I will be going out of my way to go to a different one than this ever again. The proprietor should be ashamed. read more

Similar to the review below mine, my mom ordered delivery off the Chipotle app. They didn't put the burrito we ordered in the bag which was over $20. The food got here quickly but the quality was also not good. See pic of the chicken and cheese bowl - this is what it looked like once opened. Practically nothing in it. The cheese quesadilla was two small slices with barely any cheese. We did reach out to the Pepper support. They didn't do anything until they connected us with someone named Wilard who just gave us a free discount on a future order. We had to reason with him to be refunded for the missing burrito. I'd you're going to order from here, I suggest going in person to ensure the employees are providing you with the correct food and quality portions. However there's usually a line and you'll have to wait. So you can decide if it's worth it! read more

I ordered from the East Brunswick Chipotle on Monday, 9/1, and what I found was absolutely disgusting. There were bugs in my food. Yes, actual bugs. I've eaten Chipotle plenty of times before and never expected something this revolting to happen. To make things worse, when I called corporate to report it, they didn't even want to refund me for the entire meal--even though the food was clearly contaminated. Finding bugs in your meal is beyond unacceptable, and the way it was handled made the experience even worse. If you care at all about food safety and cleanliness, avoid this location. Bugs in the food and a lack of accountability from corporate is a complete disgrace. This experience has completely damaged my trust in this location and in the brand as a whole. read more

We kept trying to get someone to help, but they didn't seem to care, so eventually another customer went over and fixed it. Then, when they were done making my order, they set it aside behind the counter instead of putting it on the shelves... so, I had to go ask for it. And, finally... I ordered a quesadilla with Carnitas meat and fajita vegetables on it with the sides, being rice, sour cream, and salsa. They put the condiments in containers, and then put my meat and vegetables on the side! I will be going to a different Chipotle from now on! read more

This was my 2nd time here and I'm not impressed at all. This location is very busy and I don't know if its under staffed or the workers just don't care but portions are very small both the meat and toppings. However they do drown everything in sourcream. People are rushed and the workers don't pay attention. I told the guy 3 times I wanted a LARGE guacamole but he just gave me a small and didn't even hear a word I said. I'm glad I had a buy one get one code because if I had paid full price or had gotten more expensive protein, I would have really been honked off. I've been to other Chipotles and had a much better experience and normal portions on the meat. Maybe its a NJ thing or maybe its just the location. Sad for such a successful business chain ya'll cheap out on your customers. Btw, I was having a difficulty with the QR code and got them mixed up with the rewards code and the guys at the register (one apparently brand new) stood silent and didn't offer what was wrong until the line backed up. Coming to eat at this Chipotle location can feel like you're coming to order your food on opposite day. Ordering a burrito bowl specifically requesting no beans? You'll get a burrito bowl with beans. Want fresh chips? You'll receive stale and oily chips. While I frequent this location cause of convenience, I do not recommend this location because it is far too consistent where orders are inaccurately made. In my most recent visit, I also had to discard most of the bag of chips I got since they were overly greased, salted and soggy to the point they were inedible. Management at this particular location needs an overhaul. The North Brunswick location is slightly better than this one. read more

Where is the store management? That's what I'd like to know because if he/she was monitoring what is going on in the store, I'm sure he/she would have noticed that a lot of what is going on is amiss. One of the staff on the assembly line clearly wasn't into working today. Said no lettuce on my tacos twice and still got lettuce. After saying I said no lettuce, guess what? The lettuce remained on my tacos. From there, I had to say cheese twice and point to the cheese before it registered that I wanted cheese. A tub of guacamole for my chips was really just partially filled with a lot of air at the bottom of the cup and on top. The dining room was incredibly filthy. I needed to wipe down a seat for two in order to sit down and eat. Literally every table needed to be wiped down. The best was the scene of a plain clothes staffer chopping veggies with a mobile phone on their shoulder. Huge props for maintaining the position while chopping veggies for at least 10 mins while I waited on line, waited for an absent minded person to assemble my food and also finish eating. If this staffer doesn't have neck pain from this effort I'd be surprised. The problem with hiring young is that the young need direction and beg for oversight. If this is your target workforce, then a plan for additional oversight must be factored in. There are far too many inexperienced staff on the line here. read more

Chipotle is my go to chain, but this one in East Brunswick really drops the ball.. Food: They grossly under fill your portion compared to other Chipotles. It more or less tastes like any other Chipotles. Service/Environment: Of the multiple times I've been here, they have either under filled my bowl by a very significant amount (picture), ran out of ingredients, had me wait a long time in line, or completely forget to make my online order. At least I never got food poisoning from here.. Price: Same as every other Chipotle in NJ, but with the service/portions, not worth Overall: I'm going to start going to the North Brunswick one instead of this one. I usually don't plan visits to specific fast causal spots; I tend to go to locations that are in proximity of where I am. I've frequented this location a few times now when I've been in the area. My experiences haven't been identical, but they're always average or below. Some employees are friendlier than others, none exceeding expectations. During most visits, there are one or more ingredients that are out of stock. The cafe barely hits the average mark; it's usually dirty with a poorly-stocked condiment station. The quality and portion of my meals here also varies. I was highly satisfied with the amount of food/decent quality during my most recent visit. I've had crunchy rice and missing ingredients in mobile orders during previous experiences. My expectations with fast food/fast casual aren't usually too high. However, I had a terrible experience with packaging of my burrito bowls during my most recent visit was awful. I ordered in-person, and the employee placed both of my bowls in a standard paper handle bag. I placed the bag upright on the seat of my car to prevent any leaking/spillage. After driving 15 minutes to my destination, I picked up my handle bag to take inside. The bag immediately ripped at the bottom from being incredibly wet. A good portion of strong smelling liquid got all over my passenger seat and also seeped into the small holes of the leather where the heat/cool air comes from the cushion of the seat. After looking at both bowls, one of them was incredibly wet at the bottom, with the biodegradable cardboard almost completely ripped. It was the contents of this bowl that caused the bag to be drenched with liquid at the bottom. The bowls were both heavy, so it would've been common sense for the employee packing them to either double bag, double layer the bowl, or both. My most recent experience was beyond disgusting; it's pretty much sealed off any chance of me revisiting this location. I'm sure the strong onion and garlic smell is going to be apparent during the summer heat; fortunately we're not there yet. I really don't anything positive to say about this location besides the fact that they need to put major effort into overall improvements. read more

No brown rice, only chicken option, fajita looked like it was cooked in the morning, no sour cream. Basically nothing left more than hour before closing. So I paid $13 for half portion. Not sure if you're better off going there and ordering, rather than order online for pickup. Got there before order was ready and waited. They were so busy with other orders that my order was done and sitting to the side. Once I finally received it, of course it was cold. I ordered a bowl with extra white rice and barbacoa. Rice was of a very small portion and they threw a huge chunk of barbacoa "fat" on top. It was disgusting to even look at! Barbacoa is a shredded meat, not a lump of fat!
