It happened to be in Manalapan New Jersey for a basketball tournament, and I saw that 30 burgers were highly rated on yelp. I happened to be staying nearby so I decided to stop by. I walked in on a rainy Friday night shortly after 10pm and it was freezing cold on the inside. Shreya was working the register and was extremely present and nice to speak with. I asked for her recommendations and of course she suggested the burger. I took her up on that option and ordered a bacon cheeseburger. She said the fries were also a must. I was extremely hungry, so I also ordered the Chicken Club Burger, crispy instead of grilled. She asked me if there was anything else I needed and I jokingly said a side of heat. She checked with the other patrons inside to see if they were cold along with Jenn who was working and they concurred as well. Within minutes she was on the phone with the owner who quickly addressed the issue by cutting on the heat. A few moments and I could tell things were warming up. Now onto the food. Everything was hot. The burger was delicious, but nothing was too special. The fries were seasoned well and had a spicy sauce to go with them. The Fried Chicken club was AMAZING! By far the biggest chicken sandwich I had ever eaten. The chicken was juicy. I could taste the cheese and the bacon. The chicken was way bigger than the bun. I wish I had ordered two. Overall I had a fabulous time here. The seating area was clean. Customer service was excellent. They made sure I was taken care of. The food is good. My order was completely wrong, even though the receipt clearly showed what I ordered explained that I ordered NO condiments. The order specifically listed no mayo due to my kids' allergy concerns, yet the food still came with mayo. What was most disappointing was that staff would not even attempt to remake the order and instead told me I had to keep it. Very poor customer service and lack of concern for food allergies. We tried out east brunswick restaurant week at 30 Burgers. The six alarm was one of the most delicious burgers I've had! Tasty patty meat that's slightly crunchy but not burned, delicious toppings (we asked for everything) and nice buns! The caramel milkshake was also delicious though hovering on the pure sugar side. The complementary mozz sticks were delish, passed the cheese stretch test, and they arrived with a spicy tasty salsa sauce. All in all a great meal and the price was good too! read more

The establishment is small with 2 high top tables and a variety of cushioned bench seating and plastic chairs. The decor pays tribute to 80s blockbusters with posters of Ghostbusters and Back to the Future. It's clean inside and well air-conditioned. There's usually a family-friendly movie or tv show playing on the tv with closed captions, and background music is pop hits from the last 20 years. All in all a cheerful, welcoming environment for all ages. I like it. There's a big refrigerator case with an assortment of sodas, Snapples, and bottled water. Staff is friendly and hardworking. The building is alongside Route 18 North and super easy to access, with a parking lot right between the road and the entrance. There are also a bunch of outdoor tables and chairs. The bun was light in texture and was noticeably less flavorful. Fries were mid. They didn't quite have the crispy texture I expected, and the Masala seasoning didn't really stand out in any way. I tried the regular fries later, and I actually preferred those, but not by much. However, the staff was very nice and friendly. We sat outside and they quickly brought our food out to us.
