Eating our chipotle burrito bowls in the car!
Jamie H.

Ever since this Chipotle opened up, I've been frequenting whenever I get a very specific craving for Chipotle burrito bowls. This time was no different, even during a pandemic. This Chipotle location prepares your online orders very quickly (I order thru the Chipotle app) and also gives appropriate portions and has never messed up any of my orders. I gotta say, the limited time carne asada meat is rEALLY GOOD and tender and yummy!! One of my recommends! My usual go to is a burrito bowl with half sofritas and half steak, and then all toppings with an addition of guacamole and no sour cream. I have them stack on all sauces and toppings, and it comes out so good when I mix it together and take a bite. Chipotle is just the best, especially when you have that Mexican burrito bowl craving!

My daughter and I went to this location at 11:45 am Saturday . It wasn't too busy yet and ladies were preparing our bowls. It's clean and delicious. Some locations are dirty and talking to each other when they are working so they are slow... but we were very happy their service and foods. Thank you. We will go back again

Barbacoa Burrito

Great local Chipotle! I had a pleasant experience here and thought the people were very nice and that they provided fast and efficient service! I had a couple minute special requests and everything turned out exactly how I wanted! I tried the Barbacoa Burrito and inhaled it within a shameless matter of moments (or seconds if you count slowly). This Chipotle, as is the norm, is located in a nice shopping plaza (includes Michael's, Best Buy & Good Mojo restaurant, among others). I feel my Mexi-Can badge earned for today's check-in is not warranted, since Chipotle, while a great franchise, is not Mexican food in its own right. It's Tex-Mex (Tejano culture), a fusion of Mexican and American food. But one thing's for certain....it's absolutely crazy delicious!!! It definitely sits higher on the ethics spectrum and its business model is obviously working. It's basically fast food's Principled Cousin, from the ingredients used, to the way it gives back to the community, and its equitable wage standards. Head on over to Chipotle and enjoy!!!

Came into Chipotle with my girlfriend a Iittle after 7:30. It was empty and quiet we stood and waited for maybe 2min before being attended to. We both had a bowl. The rice was hard and cold, and they were out of cheese when it came to toppings, the refrigerator wasn't stocked that much and the fountain drinks were out of service. We wouldn't come to this branch ever again the guy didn't seem too happy working there at all and not that attentive.

This is hands down the worst chipotle you can go to. The employees are disgusted you are there and will openly gesture their disgust about you to other employees right in front of your face. They are usually always low on certain items of food, and when you ask for an item that is out they just look at you like you shouldn't even be asking for it. You then have to direct them to go get more. I gave this 2 stars because the food isn't bad but it's just such a bad experience and the employees basically hate you. If that's how they treat you I don't want to know how they are treating the food. With everything about the place so bad it seems like a severe lack of management and/or ownership.

Irritates customers when chipotle order takes 30 minutes to be made.

Pretty upset. Came to chipotle for a quick meal and had to wait 35 minutes to get my order. No I'm not exaggerating. Turns out this location is online order only. Fine we get there and quickly place our order. 10 minutes go by, no food. I ask the people behind the counter and they say another 10 minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting, they say 5 more minutes. 35 minutes later I get my order. And because I had so much free time to stand there and observe (at a safe distance), I noticed them dripping all the meat juices into the vegetarian options like the beans, sofritas and fajitas!!! This location may be understaffed but they were also the slowest moving bunch I have ever seen at any chipotle. It's not like there were a million orders either. For a restaurant that prides itself on efficiency, this location does not measure up to the standards.

I sure am hungry!!

Overall food was mediocre, asked for hot salsa but was not given. Workers were not the friendliest I've met, but not terrible.

As usual, dinner here was a solid, five-star experience. The associate behind the counter delivered top-notch service. They ensured our order was sent to the kitchen accurately, took the time to explain how to earn and redeem points through the Tacoria app, and even brought our food right out to our sidewalk table when it was ready. As for the food, it completely hit the spot. I had a pair of the Pork Al Pastor Tacos ($5.60 ea.) which were marinated in a perfect blend of spices and topped with finely diced pineapple. The two tacos were just the right portion size to satiate my hunger without feeling stuffed. My dining companion ordered the Burrito Box ($11), a great low-carb, tortilla-less dish that comes loaded with your choice of protein served over rice, black beans, cheese, salsa, and fresh pico de gallo, which she absolutely enjoyed. The outdoor seating and consistently great service remind me why this place is a local favorite. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Snag one of the sidewalk tables if you want to enjoy a beautiful summer evening and people-watch in downtown Morristown. PRO TIP #2: Sign up for the Tacoria app to earn points based on your spending that can be redeemed for free food and beverages. You will even score a free serving of tortilla chips and guacamole just for signing up!

I opted for the online order and it was ready just when it was promised. The entire order was packaged perfectly, and there were no issues when I opened it I ordered the steak quesadilla with onions and it was very good. It had a slight kick, but as someone who doesn't tolerate spiciness very well, it was just enough for me. I didn't know what to expect from the brussels sprouts but they were sweet and not spicy at all. A great side entree! Overall, a great visit to Tacoria. To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back!"

They're knowledgeable about the many items on the menu and kept our waters and chips topped up throughout the meal. The actual food wasn't as great. I tried some barbacoa street tacos and some fried fish tacos. Everything was fresh and well cooked but lacking in flavor - each dish could be seasoned a bit more. I'm hopeful for the restaurant, and I may try it again if they try new recipes or something different to season their food.

I do feel everything would have benefitted from salt, and I wish that as a dine-in customer my burrito had not come wrapped in to-go paper. To give you a sense of the ambiance: the Spanish-speaking cashier/cook was reading a book when I walked in, and the television on the wall was blaring a Spanish-language TV show. I was one of only two customers when I went for a Saturday lunch around 1p. The other customer was also conversing in Spanish with the front of house. I appreciated that a bottled green habanero sauce was at my table, along with Cholula. It helps add to the authenticity. All that said, maybe don't come here for the tex-mex. If I came back I'd try one of the five different kinds of tacos they offered.

While Chipotle takes the high ground with its simple menu and slick, highly-curated marketing campaign that focuses on the quality, freshness, and source of ingredients, Moe's really differentiates itself from its competitors through its more casual, fun experience with emphasis on the flavor and the value proposition -- most entrees range from $10-12 and are accompanied by free tortilla chips and the salsa bar. Moe's offers reasonably-priced burritos, tacos, bowls, salads, quesadillas, nachos, and the Taco Bell-inspired Stack (with protein, beans, shredded cheese, pico de gallo and queso stacked between two crunchy corn shells and wrapped in a freshly-grilled tortilla) served quickly. They've done away with the amusing names once assigned to items on their menu ("Hey, Vinny! What do you mean you ate my Joey Bag of Donuts? Fuhgeddaboudit!") in lieu of a simpler nomenclature featuring the "Homewrecker" or "Build-Your-Own" options -- but with an interactive ordering experience, in which diners build their own entree by selecting a base (burrito, tacos, bowl, or salad), a protein (spicy chicken, adobo chicken, steak, ground beef, or tofu), rice (seasoned rice or cilanto rice), beans (pinto beans or black beans) and, finally, a selection of free toppings (cheese, sour cream, grilled peppers, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, olives, cilantro, jalapenos, etc.) and sauces, the possibilities are infinite. Most entrees are paired with a generous portion of freshly-made tortilla chips and Moe's provides customers with access to the aforementioned salsa bar featuring mild, medium, and hot varieties of salsa and a CocaCola Freestyle fountain machine offering diners unlimited free refills of the full range of CocaCola carbonated and non-carbonated beverages .. including Moe's proprietary (and non-alcoholic) Moe-Rita comprised of limeade, lemonade, and orange flavors.
