Bad Experience at Chipotle I had a very unpleasant experience at your Chipotle location. While I was at the restaurant, the manager a woman with red hair was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She was standing with a girl working the register and they both laughed at me and saying that I was wrong about my orden being cold.The manager said something in Spanish to the other girl, and they both started laughing. I order from this place a lot. They have never made a mistake and the food is always good. I paid $16 for my bowl with double chicken and there was barely any portion of anything in it at all. I went back and kindly explained the situation and asked for either a refund or a new bowl. The manager of the place accused me of eating it and bringing it back when it was less than a fourth of the way empty. I thought it was crazy that the lady thought I went to go get my food on my lunch break, bring it back, eat almost the whole thing and bring it back in a span of less than 10 minutes. The manager was very rude and unprofessional but told the staff to make me a new bowl anyway. The lady that remade my bowl was very sweet and caring and helped me out no problem. She deserves a raise for even showing that she cares and trying to fix the bowl as best as she could've. Something needs to be done about the management there. read more

Ever since this Chipotle opened up, I've been frequenting whenever I get a very specific craving for Chipotle burrito bowls. This time was no different, even during a pandemic. This Chipotle location prepares your online orders very quickly (I order thru the Chipotle app) and also gives appropriate portions and has never messed up any of my orders. I gotta say, the limited time carne asada meat is rEALLY GOOD and tender and yummy!! One of my recommends! My usual go to is a burrito bowl with half sofritas and half steak, and then all toppings with an addition of guacamole and no sour cream. I have them stack on all sauces and toppings, and it comes out so good when I mix it together and take a bite. Great local Chipotle! I had a pleasant experience here and thought the people were very nice and that they provided fast and efficient service! I had a couple minute special requests and everything turned out exactly how I wanted! I tried the Barbacoa Burrito and inhaled it within a shameless matter of moments (or seconds if you count slowly). This Chipotle, as is the norm, is located in a nice shopping plaza (includes Michael's, Best Buy & Good Mojo restaurant, among others). I feel my Mexi-Can badge earned for today's check-in is not warranted, since Chipotle, while a great franchise, is not Mexican food in its own right. It's Tex-Mex (Tejano culture), a fusion of Mexican and American food. But one thing's for certain....it's absolutely crazy delicious!!! It definitely sits higher on the ethics spectrum and its business model is obviously working. Came into Chipotle with my girlfriend a Iittle after 7:30. It was empty and quiet we stood and waited for maybe 2min before being attended to. We both had a bowl. The rice was hard and cold, and they were out of cheese when it came to toppings, the refrigerator wasn't stocked that much and the fountain drinks were out of service. And because I had so much free time to stand there and observe (at a safe distance), I noticed them dripping all the meat juices into the vegetarian options like the beans, sofritas and fajitas!!! The only time it seems to get really crowded here is during lunch hour -which I imagine it would be pretty crowded anywhere. However, I've never really had any problems with waiting on line for a long time or with my food not being prepared correctly. My sister and I went to pick up a meal for her daughter as she loves chipotle bowls although when ordering they had "run out" of basics such as salsa and corn, etc. When asked when more would be made I was told none would be available for the rest of the day. Then as I proceeded to question further about why I was told the morning team hadn't prepared it. This is as I saw multiple employees standing around doing nothing. As a former employee of Chipotle, I discussed with the manager that I didn't want to pay full price for half the ingredients missing and criticized her poor management. As I questioned her poor management somehow another "manager" came up and said that as a male customer she didn't like me talking to her female employee questioning her management. I am unsure what sex/gender had to do with the conversation, but felt it was a way to dismiss the true complaint. Needless to say my sister was also part of the conversation. Frustrated I felt it important to voice this on this platform. According to other reviews I see this type of poor service is not an anomaly. I'd appreciate it if Chipotle sold items they had on their menu or at least empathized with me when they couldn't live up to their standard. Poor judgment on chipotles East Hanover location. I did not realize prior to ordering at this location that it has become a virtual only location. This concept in the long run will be the demise of this location. I refuse to have to download an app or log into an account to place an order at a glorified fast food chain. This is probably one of the best Chipotles food-wise. Their pico de gallo is always fresh and has a heavy lemon taste which is fantastic. Their portions are also huge, my burrito bowls tend to be bursting without me even selecting extra of anything. The staff is a mix of friendly and not so friendly. So service is dependent on who you get. But overall it's pretty good and they usually have the orders ready rather quickly except for busy lunch rushes so expect to wait at least 30 for pickup orders. read more

I've been here twice and have had pleasant experiences both of those times. The service is not the fastest, but that's ok. The line can quickly get out of hand, but I've gotten lucky enough to get there before the line grows. I have always loved Chipotle, but try to eat it sparingly as the calories in the burritos and burrito bowls are up the wall. Not many people know this, but you can also order Quesadillas, which are not on the menu. I love a chicken and cheese quesadilla from Chipotle. So very delicious. Hits the spot. The staff here is great. They do their work and are not too talkative. I have no complaints. The store itself is nice as well. It's a bit on the smaller side, but you can def find a place to sit. I have taken my food to go both times I have come here. This location is clean and I have not seen any flying creatures here. Also plenty of parking outside just like most places in jersey. It's funny...I've been a fan of Chipotle since I first tried it, but the places are wildly inconsistent-and they shouldn't be. Came here today for a quick bite with my son and knew right away that it wasn't gonna be the best visit...the woman on the burrito shell station tried to give me a torn burrito (last one from the package). Good sized burritos as always (in THAT they are consistent), but the ingredients were under seasoned and bland. I basically get the same thing every time I come here, but in getting tired of inconsistent service and food quality (taste).
