The General Tso's meal that I ordered here was totally underwhelming and lacked in both quality and quantity of ingredients. Some of the Chicken that I was served actually had inedible grizzle pieces throughout and left me wondering if they can't even prepare a simple General Tso's order right than imagine how they'd handle a slightly more complicated meal? Panda Express has been on my food bucket list for a while. When I found one was only 5 minutes from where I was staying, I made sure I stopped in to get some grub! Panda Express is fast-casual Chinese that's a bit different from your typical Chinese take-out spot. They also make everything in small batches, so you are always getting fresh food. I decided on a plate. With a plate you get a choice of a side; rice, noodles or super greens and then two entrees. I went with fried rice, orange chicken and their new blazin' bourbon chicken. Everything was very yummy! The blazin bourbon chicken was supposed to be spicy as Panda Express partnered with Hot Ones, but I didn't find it spicy at all. There was a kick, but on a scale of 1-5, in spice level with 5 being the spiciest , I'd give it a 1. Still good though! It was very clean inside and the employee behind the counter who helped me was kind! I would definitely return again. Happy I popped my Panda Express cherry! read more

This place is totally riddled with online and drive thru orders! They are extremely understaffed. It takes longer to get your food in person than placing an order online. In what world is that possible? I have walked up to the counter with the restaurant being deserted but for some reason I'll need to wait 10 minutes for the staff to fulfill online orders before they can get to me. Hire more people! The workers seemed extremely overworked as well. Constantly cranking out food and orders but taking so long because of the sheer volume. read more

Still new, this is opened in the little shopping plaza across from the Greater Shoprite of Morristown location, and they have a drive thru going around the back if you prefer, or walk in. Big space, clean, and a lot of seating. Good clean food area, too. Staff were quick, efficient at the food prep and the cashier was a bit new, so that took a bit longer, but otherwise was a smooth experience. I arrived home, and the orange chicken and the fried noodle was great. The mushroom chicken, though, far saltier than any other version I've tried recently at Panda Express... wow. Couldn't even eat it with plain rice, that was how salty it was. Unfortunate. Mostly good experience, but they need to work on balancing that salt out. read more

It's as a Friday night in March 2025. We were sick of the news, work and bills. We just wanted a nice inexpensive meal and chill out. After attending a convention at the nearby Sports Center I stopped by this Panda Express for lunch. I know, Panda Express/Chinese Take-Out is not exactly Haute Cuisine nor is it "authentic" Chinese Cuisine (it's really its own animal with a rich history of its own). Given that, I am a fan of Panda Express and its fast-casual version of take out. In general their food is good and thanks to them only cooking small batches at a time it's almost always fresh. Panda Express sets up their ordering into different size dishes usually with a "base" (mixed vegetables, fried rice, noodles) and then a couple serving spoonfuls of side dishes on top (including their popular orange chicken). My favorites include their Orange chicken, Sweetfire Chicken and Walnut Shrimp. Their mushroom chicken is also fantastic. This Panda location is much smaller than the one I usually go to in Linden, NJ. The counter is curved and was only manned by one employee (really though, I felt bad she didn't have back up). That said, she worked fast, putting out dishes for three customers very quickly (and she had to ring us up too). I ate in the restaurant and it was clean and relatively quiet (which I appreciated). Their soda machine worked fine and they were fully stocked with items like straws and napkins. This was a good location. Smaller than I expected, but still a good place to have lunch. Every time I come here, the noodles are dry, the chicken is chewy and they give you the old, nearly burnt food to customers and get mad if you ask for a new batch. They treat their workers horribly as well, always a tense environment when the manager is around. I'm done here after they forgot one of my plates in my online order, AND the food had the nerve to be cold! read more

I wasn't impressed. I ordered an orange chicken and got a lot of rice and 8 small hard overcooked pieces of chicken. The chicken was so hard and gross I can't even comment on the flavor. Not true food looked like it was sitting there before the "MadRush". Chicken tasted like Rubber, Rice had no taste, Ordered 1 plate 2 sides, charged $1.50 more for the shrimp. Scanned 1st orders 20% off never taken off check. Manager Jack just threw the bag on the counter after I paid. Guess he was pissed because I challenged him. Will not return!! read more

For takeout it's pretty good. The place even has a drive up window. Not as big a selection as your typical Chinese restaurant but the selection is still ok and tastes fresh. Nice place to go. I counter it with a salad from Just Salad to neutralize the unhealthy aspect of the orange chix. read more

I have given this location multiple chances. Overall, the flavor of the food is inconsistent. One visit, the Manager did not honor my corporate coupon sent through email. Food was good, typical panda express, could be better, but just wanted to mention how impressed I was to see staff member Maria putting in great work. She was hustling!! Working very hard, bouncing from station to station, yet serving everyone with a smile, pleasantly and quickly. Well done! It's so good to see so many young men and women putting in good work instead of sitting at home lazily taking handouts like many do. The food is fine, but y'all really need to turn the sprinklers off at the drive thru. Tried to come tonight and for the second time, the sprinklers are on and pointing directly at our cars at the menu where you order outside. Can't even open my window or I'd get soaked.
