To start, the women's restroom was immaculate, as someone who spends a lot of time on the road, a clean restroom is not as common as you would think, it even smelled clean. Juliette helped me, her attitude was warm and friendly, in between helping customers at the register, she was keeping the dining room clean. Overall, one of the cleanest Five guys I've been to. My food was cooked perfectly, typically my grilled cheese is burnt on one side at Five Guys, today it was not. I had such a nice experience here - I'm leaving this review, a rarity for me. read more

Quick lunch stop. Clean establishment.If you have a nut allergy be mindful they have boxes of peanuts out for you to help yourself to.Friendly staff & was greeted as we walked in. Five Guys are always known for their high prices & high calories LOL They advertise no freezer is in sight...you can find sacks of potatoes that they use to make French fries. I enjoyed being able to see them make the food right in front of my eyes. First time trying a hot dog. Glad I asked as I was ordering if it would be cheese sauce on my "bacon & cheese hot dog" but they do not serve cheese sauce so I decided on a bacon hot dog. Was traveling with someone who was in the mood for a hamburger. We stopped here. It was a little before noon so it wasn't really busy yet. Although the burger was cooked through, It wasn't dried out. There's a load of free toppings you can add to the burger. There are signs all over the place that say how cheap it is; a little over $27 for one little burger, one regular burger, one small fry and two small (22 oz.) sodas! I don't usually write reviews, but this is the third time this store has messed up my order. Today, I placed an order through DoorDash that included food and a milkshake -- and I never received it. The two previous times I ordered Cajun fries, and both times I received regular fries instead. I understand that mistakes happen, but three times in a row is frustrating and shows a lack of attention to detail. I really hope the store takes this kind of feedback seriously and makes improvements moving forward. read more

Jael greeted me as soon as i walked in. She asked me what could she get me and i had no idea what i wanted. Without hesitation she immediately started going over the menu with me telling me what was what and i could get one patty or 2 with cheese without. she explained the patty melt and i made my choice. she was patient while i choose my toppings and got it all right. she repeated my order and gave me my receipt with a smile. she is definitely an asset to your team. read more

Never had a bad experience at a five guys, thankfully. The food is good and the menu has plenty of options. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait because it is one of the go to places for burgers and fries in the area. Prices are decent and portions are good. read more

I order a burger with cheese and my fixings which came out great, BUT, I also ordered a hotdog that was not cooked only thrown on the grill for a second as the grill people saw they missed it. Instead of holding my order till the hot dog was cooked they served it cold and under done. Now on to the milkshake if you call it that. I love milk shakes but this was 1/10 milkshake and 9/10 wip cream. If all you make all day is that stuff and can't get it right by now you should close up shop. This Fishkill NY location is a severe miss on every level on the 5 Guy brand. Place is dirty, aprons on the floor and counter. Staff checked out. Burgers dry, buns soggy, fries soggy and flavorless. Called in an order 10 minutes before I arrived. Got there and food was not even started. Stood waiting for my order another ten minutes. Apparently a pretty Spanish girl worker had her son and his Grandma come into the restaurant just before me. Seen them walk in before me and held the door for them (Big mistake but I am a gentlemen), All the workers (Every one except the order taker!) stopped doing anything. I could see my burger bun sitting there on the counter with no beef for ten minutes as I stood behind the Grandma and child as all of them smiled talked and ignored me ( a paying customer! ) The mother and kid was not ordering anything. Visually I could see the beef was still cooking on the grill with that flat iron on it for that ten minutes. I got a dry overcooked burnt burger! I always pick Five guys since I know I'm going to get a great burger cooked the right way. Not here. I guess there's always a first. I got Door Dash and called to ask for ketchup. No ketchup, the burger was way undercooked, I chucked it. I literally could count the number of fries (28) and I always end up having too many...again a first. The food was great. I ordered a cheeseburger and a banana milkshake with whipped cream. The cheeseburger was certainly filling, although it was a little pink, it was a spectacular lunch choice. The milkshake was good, but I don't think that the banana wasn't blended well enough because there were chunks of banana when I first started drinking it. The service was quick. I ordered my meal on DoorDash, and it got to my apartment within thirty to forty-five minutes, and I live about ten minutes away. read more

I know I've been here before, but each experience is a toss-up from the last time I come. When I was there, I felt I needed to just communicate my intentions to the register employees, but when things still came out awkward, I knew it would have to come from 'above. If I want presentation to be sufficient when trying to find my burger in with the fries, I had to open my mouth and tell them that I'd like them to put these in separate bags - something I did in today's order. That part - Five Guys delivered on. They listened. But the rest of the order, just wasn't jiving with normal standards. However, today after watching them make my shake (consisting of a bunch of toppings/flavorings), you could tell that the server was really getting annoyed by the amount of things that had to go into the shake...but I really like flavor and texture of my list, and though I asked for about 5 different flavors one didn't seem to have been added, nor did it seem thick enough for the "shake" to be considered thick enough to be a shake. I'm used to thicker creams for the shake from other Five Guys locations, but you didn't outdo your other locations here tonight: you didn't impress me on the shake. However, you did impress me on the fries. I asked for a Little Fry, but it seemed to me like it was more than normal. I know it's the Five Guys way of serving more, but I think you overdid it here. However, it did definitely seem like you used skinned potatoes and I didn't notice the board tonight to find where you got your potatoes from (I don't recall seeing one, though my local one nearer me does have one). Every time I dipped a fry into the ketchup and tried to lift it into my mouth, I really wasn't liking my choice and actually couldn't finish. Then you add that to the burger I had. Meat and sauces were good, but roll looked a bit old and even stale - like it had sat a little too long in the back. I ate it, but did I like it? No. I was hungry and was about to eat anything put in front of me which I had ordered hoping for something more tasty. A burger needs to be juicier and the rolls need to look and taste fresh. This Five Guys is the newest location to open in the Hudson Valley. Nestled conveniently at the corner of Routes 9 and 52 and 2 minutes from my home, they've been consistently busy since opening a month ago. Much like the other 2 Five Guys I've frequented and reviewed here, this one also provides some tasty, filling burgers and fries. It seems like they have a pretty straight forward formula for their food, and it's obviously successful. The service was nice and quick, and the dining area was clean. The staff seemed pretty good and attentive towards this, and that goes a long way with me. There is also an outside eating area, but it seems a little too close to the busy intersection. Not sure if I want to eat while breathing in exhaust and annoying music blasting out of cars while waiting at the light, but hey, others may not mind. So, Five Guys gets me again, this time really close to home. They're going to take over the world, I predict. read more

Totally no service! Very rush when placing the order and messed up my order. I ordered three burgers, two regulars and one little. They came out the exactly sizes, very small, without any toppings! Only beef patties and buns. The burgers were dry, with some wired tastes. No sauces, no toppings, nothing. Not what I ordered at all. Fries are cold and soggy. I can get much better food from any other fast food chains and pay much less. I paid almost $40, for three burgers and three drinks and a serve of fries, all went to the garbage! Good friendly service, burgers not as watery as other Five Guys I've been to. Decent sized parking lot at a cross roads location. Enough space to host groups, I come here with my friends time to time. We had 11 people which included two babies in 2 strollers. Plenty of space even during weekend lunch rush. The fries are in generous portions, and unlimited peanuts. Just wish we could make the burgers anything but well done if they advertise their beef patties are fresh. read more

Last night I went in for a milkshake and after 5 minutes I noticed a staff pouring the mix back into the machine after spinning it four or five times because it was not freezing. The spindle itself was already contaminated and they were reusing the mix. When I ask for a refund because of the food safety issue a gentleman came over with gloves on handing me my refund without an apology or a conversation. A mistake on an order is one thing but food safety and poor service is inexcusable. The cashier was also wearing gloves, which leads me to believe they are preparing food after they bring up your order with the gloves that touched the money that touched every customers hands. read more
