The bar area was clean and well-maintained, and at the time there were no other guests seated there, only patrons at nearby tables. When my server came over, she took my appetizer order but immediately asked what I wanted for my entrée as well. I politely explained that I preferred not to order both at the same time because I did not want my appetizer and meal arriving together. Dining out is an experience that I like to enjoy at a relaxed pace, and I prefer not to feel rushed. The Zucchini Fries were acceptable, but they were not memorable enough for me to order again. The aftertaste was the biggest drawback and ultimately left me unimpressed. For my entrée, I ordered the salmon with sweet potato fries and broccoli. The broccoli was much crunchier than I prefer and seemed undercooked, as if it had not been steamed long enough. The salmon lacked flavor and was heavily salted. In fact, there appeared to be salt all over the fish, which overwhelmed the dish and made it difficult to enjoy. The sweet potato fries were the highlight of the meal, but they were not exceptional enough to justify a return visit. Overall, I expected a better dining experience from Red Robin.
